-> I really hope Charlie Rhodes is GG or else she's boring with no reason... Seriously...Every scene with her and and Nate i skipped it!
-> A dowry? Seriously? Like ''Ok, Blair... You can just pay your way out of this.It's not like you humiliated us or anything.''
-> After the pact with God, we've got the next great obstacle. Blair doesn't want Chuck to buy her from Louis... I kind of liked the deal with God better. Are the writers mocking us in our face?!!!!
-Dan...I don't know if he sent the blast (he soooooo did!) but blaming Chuck...Seriously?
I know i'm kind of sour here, but if i wanna stay calm during my exams, ranting is the only way... And of course not watching the next GG episodes. My nerves can only take so much!

Dan and Blair were so good this week and they developed so much!
I am ready (since like forever) for Chair to be over. Give me Dair!
Wow...First episode that i actually had to skip scenes...Some were boring and some were just too painful to watch.I'll start with the positive aspects of the episode:
-> I liked the Chuck&Serena scenes. I suspect that the next 4-5 episodes are gonna be pretty harsh on both of them so it's good that they'll have a shoulder to cry on....AND then team up with Nate and scheme their ways out of this scenario's mess!
-> I liked Georgina! As most of us expected ,she ain't GG but without her taking over things would be much more boring.
-> Serena's final talk with Dan. Though i was supporting Derena for old times' shake, everything S said was spot on.I think Derena has oficially come to an end.I hope...I can't stand seeing S getting hurt over and over. Hmmm...Good were the times when i could hate S and not feel guilty about it.

@ms.m- well said!!! finally someone who agrees with me about S's character!! Inside was a definite indication of who dan loves.. S is SO annoying.

Chair is not the underdog couple anymore....the have gotten really popular back in season 1,2 (when they were the underdogs) but they popularity has been declining since then, with good reason, may I say...to be honest I have been a Chair shipper myself, but season 3 messed them completely up.. i´ve tried to stay strong, but I totally caved when Dair came along... they were just so precious, and I do believe that Dan is what Blair needs right now...like she said...he understands here more than anybody else does....

Im sorry i have to disagree this was a great episode!!! the comedy between dan and blair was amazing and hilarious. That final scene between chair was a true tearjerker

In the real world, Dair is the only relationship that makes sense, they have a wonderful chemistry, are beautiful and perfect. Although not yet be a couple, now behave as such. I love Dan and Blair together. Dare to Dair.

I dnt care what others think.. but i think Blair is a selfish bitch who used Dan for her convenience and threw him... dunno what he finds in a selfish pig like her... and why does dan have to answer chuck of all ppl// hes the most arrogant pompous jerk ard... somewhere blair brought this upon herself and maybe she deserves it.. i can only wish if dan and serena can find a way back to each other like season 1. they were really cute back then but then the writers ruined it... if that fire is reignited it wud be very nice.. I still maintain Dan is the most givin and he DESERVES the appreciation and true love (NOT VANESSA... but Serena)... i dnt care abt CHAIR... its snoozefest and most boring

I have a feeling that the video blast in GG episode wasn't done by Dan (even though gossip girl pointed out it was). Did anyone of you guys think it might be Eleanor, which might sound ridiculous, but hey with the latest 'twists & tricks' that the writes have been throwing at us I wouldn't be surprised :D

TThe leading ladies should sue the producers for making their characters so fickle & ditzy. When GG started I thought it would be all Serena all the time & I used to wonder why no one considered Blair the "It" girl too since she was so fab. Well, many seasons down the line this show is all about Blair now and boy do I miss the old dynamics! The only great thing to emerge, for me, has been Dair. That showed some maturity and good sense from the writers - however unformed and short lived they made Dair.
I used to watch Chair scenes repeatedly once upon a long time ago - the hospital scene, the I love you scene...but now they just feel so predictable and boring together. The writers took something that had gripped all our imaginations and have turned it into a mess. Is it really so difficult to maintain some semblance of reality in your characters - granted they are fictional....but fiction rises to heights when you mange to make it real and relatable...not some soppy caricatu

(Contd...) Not for nothing do Rhett and Scarlett capture our romantic imagination even today - having someone love you so much that they stand by and watch as you throw yourself at another man, they love and respect you so much that they try to make your dreams possible...
I feel nothing at the thought of Chuck and Blair kissing or ending up together...but one look of passion between Dan and Blair is enough to send the romantic in me into a frenzy. And imagine - this level of reaction even though the stupid writers never gave us any solid Dair scenes - but such is the power and potential behind the Dair pairing that it has had this impact on so many of us...but alas it's not to be :(

Rhett was not just abt being a "badass" as someone said.Also if Nate=Ashley & Chuck=Rhett-wht was season1-2 about!! We've been there,done tht & moved on.The writers are now trying to make Chair happen no matter how convoluted!
I used the analogy more in terms of the similarity to the *emotions* of each character & not just their personality-here we have one man (Rhett/Dan) in love with a woman (Scarlett/Blair),who is so oblivious to his feelings because she thinks she is in love wth her old flame (Ashley/Chuck).However, for anything the first person she turns to is Rhett/Dan(though she has other friends to help her!)She has fun wth him,teases him,but never admits to herself how much she has come to depend on him & value his opinion & that this feeling of wanting to be with him might be such a strong feeling of overpowering love that she dare not confess/face it herself.So she does the "expected" thing &
