I just finished watching the episode. Now I need someone to answer a question.
What sense does all that I saw? But what fold is starting the script? Blair Waldorf that acts as a martyr? To whom and under what name? But this show sucks now. Seriously, I have no desire to watch the next episode.
@Kavern: yes, I noticed the band's hair Blair. In the photos of the next episode Chuck is wearing his scarf. Maybe your is a right hope.

Dan saved this episode. Is Blair still having pregnancy hormones even though she had a miscarriage? Because she's still totally out of character. Dan and Chuck are the only characters worth watching right now, they make the show. Blair has just become utterly annoying. I'd like some Dan and Chuck scenes again. Their friendship was great too. I'd like Dan and Blair to have a romantic relationship but on the other hand I really don't want it to happen. I don't want anything ruining their beautiful friendship. I'd be happy with Chuck and Blair being together and Dan just being a best friend to both of them. He could sort out all of their unbelievable and just plain stupid problems for them. I hate the real Charlie, she's so bland that I actually want Ivy back. Does Nate really need another love interest? He's had a relationship with every female main character on the show. I enjoyed this more than the last episode but the only real highlight was Dair and Eleanor.

Ok Now i'm positive Dair won't happen. The promo is obviously misleading. Blair would never do that to Serena.
If she does, they have resolutely ruined her character.
Chuck has been AMAZING and deserves someone better imo.

A few good moments can't make up for the ridiculous, abysmal writing. Any of these people heard of an annulment? Blair could claim mental illness b/c Blair is clearly now cuckoo for cocoa puffs! I've liked Chair, mostly b/c of Leighton/Ed, but the amount of roadblocks they've thrown between these two is crazy it makes me want to self-harm. A dowry? Really? REALLY?! @Gossipcrazy is right. They're teasing all the shippers &, meanwhile, there are no SLs for the non-shippers. Maybe things'll pick-up but the rest of S5 will likely be more of Blair's sham marriage (when will Louis leave?!), Dan & Chuck pining for Blair, Serena being jealous of Blair & Nate luring in more plot devices -I mean-guest stars. Oh & what IS up w/all these fine young things getting no action? That's INSANITY!!

Some positive remarks: The Dair banter was good & there were some other nice moments too. Serena's reaction to Dan's rejection & his continued feelings for Blair was realistic & nicely acted. Yea, it's selfish to assume Dan would wait around for Serena but that's how a 21y/o would act. Plus it's hard to even remark on Serena's selfish attitude when Blair would throw a fit a 1000x worse if Chuck was crushing on Serena & Blair suspected there may be a mutual attraction developing between C/S. Blair really is so awful/OCC now.... Good on Dan for finally confronting Blair on how lopsided their "friendship" is. Oh & my Blair fatigued self also got a chuckle out of Nate's "I care about Blair too!" as he eyed real Charlie. Dan & Chuck really do need advice from Nate on how to shake a Waldorf! Cont'd...

How about this for a plot? Let Blair return to her old scheming ways (and work with Chuck) to find a way out of her miserable sham of a marriage. The Grimaldi’s don’t stand a chance against the old Blair. Writers, PLEASE revisit pretty much ALL of the previous seasons, so that the characters could resemble who they used to be. I realize the writers want to show that the characters have grown, but the characters have not had a complete lobotomy or maybe the car crash did more damage than we thought. Either way, I miss the old scheming, manipulating, plotting, etc. by Blair and Chuck, especially when it’s for a good cause (aka their love-life!). Blair and Chuck and even Serena have become soooooo weak and pathetic that it’s painful to watch. Even Georgina is no longer a crazy psycho. The only redeeming thing is if Dan did send the blast to Gossip Girl, because then he wouldn’t be the good guy. But even that is not true to his character.

Truly, the great question is "WHERE IS BLAIR?" She has been MIA for much of the season. BRING HER BACK!!!! Why is she still tied to the prince???? A DOWRY?! Now I'm feeling hatred!!!! Arrrghhh! This used to be a guilty pleasure that I reveled in and now it is a steaming pile of donkey dooky! I really enjoyed the start of the year, even with the prince it was fun to see everything unfold and then "The Pact" happened. From now on I will go out of my way to AVOID anything CREATED by Fake Empire or written by any of the GG writers!!!! This is so stupid!!!

I actually agree with the rating of this episode, it was kinda meh to me.
I know Georgina is not trust worthy but it wasn't so much like she said explicitly that Dan sent the video (I don't remember she did that) as the show itself giving that impression. As we know, the show is not trustworthy either, so it's not imposible they change this in the future. For the record, I also thought at the end of 5x13 that Georgina herself was the one who uploaded the video, she doesn't need anyone to do that, she could have created at least one copy before giving the camera to Chuck. It was this episode that made me change my mind but then again, they could be misleading us.

COME. ON. SERIOUSLY?! A DOWRY?! It is official. The writers hate us(the rapidly dwindling fan base), hate the show, hate the actors, really they are just big, angry balls of hate. Or worse, apathy. They made a mistake redeeming Chuck too quickly as they seem unable to craft a VALID (or even SEMI-VALID)reason to keep Chuck and Blair apart any longer. Dan and Blair are great together and I enjoy the banter, but how can the writers let Blair even consider him after she has been caught on tape saying every day she loves Chuck more.

I agree with you that Dan probably didn't send the video, and @LuckyBastarda is onto something about Gossip Girl's notoriously misleading camera angles. If we believe anything out of G’s mouth, she did say that she left the camera in the bridal chamber. Was Dan ever seen in the bridal chamber? And if not, who was???
And as far as next week, yes maybe B is trying to help Serena and Dan get back together or maybe she wants to know for herself that Dan luvs her. Don’t Serena and Blair have some sort of fight on the streets in an upcoming episode? Also Saf said something about the DAIR relationship going in an interesting direction. Are we any closer on figuring out what he means by “interesting?”

(cont) the writers need to create a distance between Blair/Serena. I never understood why they wrote Blair/Serena to become BFFs so soon after Blair found out Serena slept with Nate at the start of the show. Blair never got a chance to be upset w/ Serena. that was completely wrong. i'm really hoping this time around they allow jealousy/space to form b/w them b/c that's realistic. it started coming out in little bursts from Serena throughout the season but I'm hoping we get a real blowout. i'm also really hoping for a Charlie or Lola/Nate/Serena triangle. i look back to the Serena/Nate/Jenny stuff from S3 and wish that would've been realized but Nate never reciprocated Jenny's feelings. I like Chivy better than Lola. Nate needs a Chair/Dair type romance. His character has lots of potential that just get wasted.

Besides, we all know that GGWriters are all fuzz and no buzz. They made it look like Georgina was Gossip Girl when she really wasn't. They even hyped the moment with as a *GASPING SCENE*. To only point out one of many let downs that this unexplicable sequence of events call "Gossip Girl" is managing to bring us on a weekly bases.
My point is, no matter what kind of camera angle they took, for all I know, Georgina could have send the video herself. Let's be sirius for a moment here, IF YOU WANTED TO RUIN YOUR SWORN ENEMY'S WEDDING DAY, WOULD YOU LEAVE THE CAMERA ON THE HANDS OF THE LOVE OF HER LIFE AND HOPE FOR THE BEST? OR WOULD YOU TAKE MATTERS ON YOUR OWN HANDS AND THEN PLAY SILLY JUST TO MAKE EVERYONE BETRAY THEMSELVES?

Maybe Dan did send the video, but I just don't see the point of it! I mean, he helped Louis with the vows and helped Chuck and Blair reunite. That's what I mean by the writing making the character act so out of character. Their actions are not coherent with their personalities, no matter how much they have "mature" since season one.

now that i've rewatched Dairport more times that i care to admit i'll say this about everything else: happy to see Rufus/Lily/Eleanor/Louis mom get in on the action/drama. more please. wish Cyrus would've been there too. Lola/Nate stuff was snooze worthy. Nate wasn't concerned about Blair AT ALL. he regressed this eppie b/c there he is again chasing a girl. Serena your ex-bf wrote a book focusing on another woman, your bff, whom you know he's hung up on. WHAT self respecting woman will chase after a guy she knows is in love with their bff? Serena regressed too. She's still SO egotistical she thinks as soon as she admits to Dan she loves him that he'll magically be in love with her again. Chuck was great. Needs a storyline OUTSIDE of Blair. the eppie better than the rating it was given. Georgina, Dorota, Dair provided the laughs, G/Chuck/Serena Louis Mom/Parents provided the drama. it was balanced.
Serena: Congratulations, you've officially joined the dark side.
