I have nothing against Dan. Really, I don't. But I am so over watching Gossip Girl. It's just constant back and forth; nothing the writers do makes sense. She professes her undying love for Chuck, and she ends up with Dan. What kind of girl would actually do that? These stories are so pathetic and unbelievable. Until the writers get their shit together (unlikely), I'm taking a break from GG. Such a pathetic waste of my time.

liked this ep but hated the dan-blair kiss..after this i hope for a serena-chuck scheme just because i like to see them fight for their feelings. as for the real charlie at least now she knows that her mom is screwing her..for chivy, she might be a fraud but at least her affections for the rhodes-vdw family is genuine. it seems like cece's the one who'll die.
im so happy about Dair. everyone needs to calm down. it makes so much sense that theyre together. i cant wait to see more next episode
serena has been pissing me off since season 2. shes so annoying and stubborn. all of a sudden shes into dan again? after she took him for granted for years i dont blame him for moving on. i hope we never see them together again. dan deserves better. Seriously Derena has been dead since they became siblings. get over it
as for Chair, i cant wait to see a true love triangle play out.

Does this show make any sense at all?? Blair doesn't deserve to be with anyone at this point. How do you go from being "in love" w/ someone for half the show then cheating on your husband to cheating on him agaiinnn with someone else!? I'm bored. I want new drama.. like really? What's going on? Idk, I'm a bit irritated with all the unfinished story lines.

This show has gone from "the greatest show of our time" to a really bad copy of a Mexican soap- opera in the course of 2 seasons. I feel very dissapointed that my favorite Character Blair Waldorf is this undecided, lost, kind of crazy shell of a person. Is this the same B.W from season 2? the writers have ruined EVERYTHING that was good with GG. Even Georgina is ridiculous! I just want this season to be over already. It's so frustrating and annoying! And the last nail in the coffin is this STUPID, MORONIC SL about Blair having "feelings" for Dan Humphrey, I'm disgusted about the whole thing, she can't be with Chuck but she can have a secret affair with DAN HUMPHREY!!! COME ON, WRITERS! Keep one and stick with it, don't just go around throwing darts and hope that we are stupid enough to just accept this whole thing!
last note: God save our Chair! (From the writers, that is)

Sorry, keep posting, but yeah I've looked back and there have been a lot of mentions of the gross kiss but not gross Dan. I'm sure you've seen arguments that way but to assume everyone who says that thinks so bc of poor gross Dan is quite the leap to use as a platform.

People can think a Blair.Dan kiss is bad/gross. Why did you assume they hate HIM and think he's trash? They don't like Blair and Dan, so they think them kissing is gross.

My point was just that not everyone who is upset thinks Dan is gross because he is poor. I'd venture to say not many.

you are FIXATED on people thinking Dan is gross bc of social standing. No offense, but give it a rest. I don't think that many people said that, a lot did say not watching show like me but you're acting like everyone has been calling Dan disgusting. More people have been talking about sub-par writing and Blair;s character and whatever whatever than icky icky Dan talk. It may play a factor for SOME people, but not enough for it to be argument-worthy.

Anyway, yea also don't feel like watching this episode or any more for a while. Just not interested. No flame warring or crying or whatever. I've just lost taste. I always watched for Blair, even when she was a bitch she was the best! Not anymore, I guess.

And also, I never liked Derena, Or Jenny/Nate, or Serenate but I never called a ship "disgusting". What is disgusting about two people having feelings for each other? Sure it might be wrong depending on the circumstances (like Blair being married to Louis and having professed her love to Chuck) but "disgusting"? That's a favorite of anti-Dair (ahem mostly Chair) shippers. Everytime I see it, I find it horrendous. Makes me lose faith in humanity. People truly think that Dan is gross because he isn't socially equal to Blair, because he doesn't wear suits on a daily basis and he can't buy her off with expensive gifts. Argh must be so unappealing right? It's not like someone can't love you without those things, no.

Dan and Blair were ruined for me the moment Dan started having so called "feelings" for her. But don't paint me with one brush just because I don't like them as a couple doesn't mean I am a Chair shipper. I simply don't like them as a couple and love them as friends. Tonight was the beginning of the Dair ending.

I can see from all the outraged comments that I can save myself the time (and disgust) of watching this episode. And from looking at the preview, I can skip next week's as well. It's looking like I can skip the entire rest of the season.
