i hate what GG became these days, I didn't watch last week epi and based on twitter comments and the preview from Today, i'm done. Blair was one of my preferred characters, she was unique, evil, sweet and a queen, now she's so dumb! 3 weeks ago she was in love with Chuck loving him more and more each day, she was step ahead to go with him before her weeding and now, she loves Dan? come on! gg writers destroyed Blair. and I don'y like Dan, never liked, as character he always was so hypocrit, critizing the upper east side life but begging inside to became in. GG writers played with us, at least with Chair shippers and I´m done to be treated like a stupid, I'm not watching GG anymore and I won't surprise if GG loose more audience each Monday. bye bye gossip girl.

Chuck was... depressing really. In my opinion anyways. I mean, I laughed and tought he was being a GIGOLO most of the episode. It's The "everyone is pinning on Blair" show lately. Why would HE do all this scheam? He already had Blair. He is becoming too good for her. Well, probably he's not good to begin with, but he needs to move one.
If they are meant to be together, they will find their way. For now, DAN IS WITH BLAIR and CHUCK SHOULD BE WITH SOMEONE ELSE. I still love EVA, she should totally come back! Loved CHEVA :D
All in all I LOVED THE EPISODE. I still feel sad for CeeCee's departure. GG make me shed one single tear, that hadn't happened in a loooong loooong time. I hope we can get more drama and the real Gossip Girl return. Georgina is a very bad substitute.

I feel like Nate's character is fading away. Again. I can almost hear the writers saying: "OK, Nate's got a job now, we are done fixing this one" and it's not. They are, YET AGAIN, using a main actor as prop. He'll probably be the link to Lola and the Van Der Woodsens.
I don't see any good SL surrounding neither of the Charlies in the horizon. But IF something is cooking around Lola, I hope she's a main character next season. Jenny all over again. I don't buy Caroline's reasons to get a FREAKING actress to play her daughter!

She didn't HAVE to kiss Dan in front of Serena! She didn't HAVE to spend all day with Dan just to make a point to her BFF.
Serena, today, was... so mature! I mean, if I were on her shoes, I don't know if I could handle things like she did. Despite the fact that I couldn't even take a step on her heels. Lol. I hope S keeps growing. I really feel for her right now.

Sucks CeCe died. I hope that Ivy can manage to find her way back to mutual ground with them all. However, it'll be good to see her with Georgina. I really like her, but I see the writers booting her at the end of the season. Rufus and Lilly were still ugh. Lola is certainly one character I do not like, which is why her and Nate are perfect. Pairing him with yet again ANOTHER girl is the only thing that gives him significance. Chuck doing what he did was great, because it's the one I hate, which means that Blair will just never be with him if he's like that. I'm glad Serena has matured over the Dair thing. There may be hope for her character (for me). And finally, HELL YES! DAIR IS IN THE AIR AND I'M ECSTATIC! I don't think the video is that big of a deal. Either way, Blair got with Louis' and the video would have gotten out either way. Besides, Dan did her a favour. Louis' is a jerk and his true colours revealed. So it's ended on a positive note.

This episode made me cry from laughing so hard! I'd love for GG to turn things around and be honest to God good but I'll take hilariously bad over bad bad any day. The season of awful hair continues! What was up with Chuck's 'do? Looks like hair and makeup had a little accident. Whoops! He and Dan are hot despite the hair... I love them, flaws and all! I know Chuck is an awful person blah blah blah, but I really did like a little deviousness after 20 straight episodes of moping. Now if he would move on from Blair that would bloody awesome. So weary of the pining!
Dan and Chuck on a doggie date. Heck yea! I'm so down for that D/C/N menage. Make. it. happen.

things i loved: Dair of course. Dan getting mad at Blair for her denial. Telling her he wanted her. the kiss between them was perfect. i loved that Serena inadvertently caused Blair to confront her feelings b/c she knows how Blair acts when she likes a guy. on some level Serena was helping Blair. also: loved the bit of weirdness/awkwardness of the last scenes between Dair. their interaction amongst the tragedy of CeCe's death was perfect. they couldn't be too happy, they had Serena to consider.
the Cece/Ivy/Lola/Rhodes/Van Der Woodsen drama was great. don't get why Ivy would call Georgina. writers have made her as sympathetic as possible w/ her backstory so revenge doesn't seem like a motive. Nate was forgotten, as usual. and i was happy to see Chuck Bass plotting even if it was against Dan.

Lola reminded me a lot of Isla Fisher (i.e. the actress resembles Fisher). I liked her dynamic with Nate so far and I see potential there. In terms of the character itself, her reaction towards Serena's friendly overtures was a bit cold...but I guess it can be put down to the shock of discovering a huge secret. I see her as fitting very easily into the van der woodsen household.

From most of the writing on the interwebs, including on this site, not only the shippers but even the article writers themselves support Chair. That's what makes me fear that the GG writers will cave in and make Chair end game.
Dair is the underdog. Dair is certainly not as popular as Chair. But Popularity does not equal Quality. And just because mediocrity is celebrated, it doesn't make it any better.
So tempted to use some political examples here but will refrain from doing so - things are contentious to begin with in such forums! I just hope the writers will not do the popular thing but will do the correct thing. And the correct thing is to give us Dair. for. ever.

But this is supposed to be a new Chuck. And after the crash, this is the first time we've seen Chuck continually proclaim his love for Blair without giving up or playing games. But it's only been three months, it's really not that long. I don't have any sympathy for him when he sleeps with Alessandra two seconds after seeing a GG post from Georgina. Even if it was true if he was really hurt shouldn't he talk to Blair about it? Or have any self control when it comes to sleeping with the next available suitor? Yes he's hurt from Blair, he's threatened by Dan, but does that mean he should get pity after using/sleeping with someone jeopardizing a woman's career and Dan's credibility as a writer?
