    @V I'm not instructing anyone, you should listen to all the whining and meltdowns fans are having, it's best if they left.

    @Cb126 Maybe you should take a permanent break from watching and drop the show altogether.

    @cam Hopefully more of them will drop this show.

    @GossipGirlFan13 The writers are either on drugs or they're just picking ideas from a bag.

    @bbking Gossip Girl didn't used to revolve almost exclusively around relationships.

    @smash It went downhill in Season 3 and it never recovered.

    @Give me some dair

    Er, if you look at the GG facebook fanpage and fanfiction and all those sites, Chuck&Blair love is still very strong! Just a lot of fans don't want to be sucked into these debates when they just want to enjoy their ship and the show.

    Also, I never said DAIR was always a poor man's CHAIR, I said that if the writers continue to steal CHAIR scenes and try to make them over as DAIR 'epic scenes', then they're not going to allow DAIR to have its own identity. They said they want a new direction - then do it properly! By stealing old scenes from another relationship, they're just ruining any originality and excitement from a new pairing.

    @Where's Waldorf

    I completely agree with you. DAIR have to steal old CHAIR scenes to be epic! Or at least that's the writers perspective apparently.

    @emma don't forgot about chuck's dad

  4. latinalover

    @Blake#1 fan the top WTF moments

  5. Where's Waldorf

    Even Dair's peak was a fail. The "say it again" thing is from when Chuck said he loved Blair. How unfortunate that they could think of nothing new to make the moment cuter because Dair have little chemistry when hooking up. Blair has called him Dan before! Its not a big deal.
    Stop trying to insinuate that Dair are the reason for good ratings. They aren't more exciting than Chair. I feel nothing when I see Dan and Blair kiss. If anything I feel disgust.

    @Madeleine "Otherwise they'll ensure that DAIR is ALWAYS a poor man's CHAIR!"
    Really, that's the best you could come up with. Well, in the country of 99 Percenters, we know who the winner is going to be. XOXO

    one of the worst episodes.... Cant stand blair an dan... i am honestly not even looking when they are kissing... Becouse it is like looking at a two cowes...

    Dair takes this show to another level. The last scene was the saving grace for what otherwise was a messy affair. The way dan was really happy because Blair said his name was awesome. And her reaction to Dan's happiness was so great. The people who can't see the beauty in their wonderful relationship are blinded by the bad boy syndrome.
    The promo is very funny. I wait to see how the writers advance their relationship. Hope that they do them justice.

    I love how the chairs are getting riled up. Glad we are getting something new. Chair got boring after season 2. Evidence is the ratings fall after S2 when there was so much focus on Chair. I normally don't mention ratings but have to because you chairs keep bringing it up.
    I keep hearing that the ratings are down because of dair. Like last week when apparently there was some rating dip in the middle of the show. Well if some chair fans can't watch dair then I say that let them get out. We tolerated boring chair for so long that all of us should probably get awards, and we are getting it in the form of Dair. The rating was a bit higher with chair because we dairs swallowed it somehow. If you can't return the favor then get out. Continued...

  13. latinalover

    @chairchairchair well blair have some fun in life.

  14. Where's Waldorf

    I think Dair is hitting their peak now and can only decline and burn out from here. I understand the writers motives. They couldn't just build up to Dair and never let them happen. It's actually the right thing to do for the show to make sense.
    Nate and Serena hooked up this time in season 3, and while they seemed legit they didn't last past the season 3 finale. The real, substantial romantic moments are the ones that happen in finales and you all know it. I really think that Dan and Blair are getting ahead of themselves out of nowhere.

    CONT
    I'm not going to swear off the show purely because my ship is on the rocks. But I'm very disappointed with the writers this episode; they've written a ridiculously dense and convoluted episode and have put a nail in the coffin of a relationship they've spent 4 years building. Most of all, they spat in the faces of dedicated CHAIR fans with their ending scene. I know DAIR fans will think it's sweet, but imagine if in 10 episodes, the writers show CHAIR sitting in the loft eating pizza and watching a movie? You'd feel wripped off!

    This is poor, poor writing. If you're going to go down a 'life changing' direction, then make sure you actually create new scenes! Otherwise they'll ensure that DAIR is ALWAYS a poor man's CHAIR!

  16. Madeleine

    Okay, I just read this review and decided to watch the episode online, because although I'm a CHAIR fan, I don't want to give up GG and so wanted to try and get on board, at least temporarily, with DAIR.

    But WTH was that? In addition to the ridiculous plot holes and general story lines, the writers ripped off one of Chuck and Blair's most crucial, epic scenes! And they didn't even make it meaningful; Blair saying 'Dan' is no way near as momentous as Chuck Bass' first 'I love you'! They've literally gone and slapped CHAIR fans in the face with that mockery.

    I tried to like DAIR, I used to love both characters separately and was sure I could like them together, although not LOVE them. But their wasn't chemistry, it felt like two needy souls just wanting comfort and deciding that they were least likely to be burned by being with each other. We know how Chuck hurt Blair and Serena hurt Dan- but that doesn't mean that Blair and Dan should choose each other because it's EASY.

  17. Lola

    I have watched GG since I was 13 and, for the first time,am considering giving up on it. After sticking with all the rubbish the writers have given us (Raina, Diana, etc), it would be nice if fans were rewarded with characters and storylines that actually made sense. I miss the way the characters were in the first season; most of them are completely unrecognisable now, save for Nate and Serena who aren't given enough screentime. I used to LOVE Blair Waldorf and shipped Chair. But I don't ship anyone anymore. Blair is completely different to Queen B from the early seasons and I don't think the writers can bring her back.

    I'd love to see more of the VDW family drama, Lola and Nate, Serena's career etc, because these stories are actually interesting and are not repeating the same tired old plots regarding Blair's love life.

    Something big and dramatic needs to hit the UES soon or I'm out.

  18. latinalover

    @bbking it looks like you need some jelly filled dounts

  19. Amelie

    I love Dair. It has that screwball chemistry and hate to love feeling, kind of Ten reasons I hate about you stuff:)

  20. Anak INA

    What, chuckistan call Blair a slut? no no no I think you are a slut because you like the abusive relationship n love with someone like chuck (who slept with a prostitute). if you now don't like Blair, then stop watching gg. I'm a guy & I'm a team blair happiness.

  21. latinalover

    @Angry Follower of this Stupid Show do you have problems in real life because you are the craziest chair fan i have seen so far.

  22. amyslc93

    DAIR???Ewww~~~~

  23. Where's Waldorf

    @rena
    thats how i felt last week when she was acting all confused. But really look at her life this season? It's honestly been a disaster. Until she gets back on track she's going to be that pathetic loser that relies on Dan Humphrey. I miss her being feisty and not so mushy, so hopefully once the marriage is over she will go back to college and try to be a powerful woman.

  24. rena

    Blair has been an unrecognisable pathetic loser lately, therefore I don't want her anywhere near Chuck.

  25. Where's Waldorf

    I don't know, I'm just not feeling Dair. I feel nothing when I see their "cute" moments. Its not like how it was for me when Chuck and Blair got together at the end of season 2. I'm too caught up in the good things Chuck has been doing already. I don't understand why this whole website has turned Dair anyway? Look the whole episode in general was great. As I recapped it to my friend she was in awe of how much drama filled the 40 minutes. I just don't think I can come to terms with Dair knowing how exciting Chair is to watch. I'm not even going to complain about the writing or stop watching the show, because from what I can gather its not 100% over between Chuck and Blair. It never will be, they're inevitable. Chuck said it countless times, Nate has, Dan himself has and this season Serena made her big statement about how no matter what paths they take, Chuck and Blair always find their way back to each other.
