    @Anonymous i know that is you opinion but pleasse don't discourage lonely.in.gorgeous to quit watching the show. i acutally think that it was nice that despite GG already on its fifth season that it's still attracting new fans.

  2. francene

    @Anonymous yeah true. on and off. just cant wait to see wat they are up to in the future episodes and wat will be their end game,

  3. Where's Waldorf

    I don't know, most of the time I look past the fact that Derena are step-siblings because they were lovers first and haven't even lived together.

  4. Where's Waldorf

    @lonely.in.gorgeous
    I love what you said about derena being the lightness against chair's intensity.
    That's exactly what I've always thought but you put it in the right words.
    Dair just feels way too random for me, I don't know if I'll ever get my head around them. But I do appreciate that they needed to be done because of the whole build up and everything.

    @lonely.in.gorgeous I'm with you with derena being the light to balance chair's intensity. they're actually a cute couple until this horrible writers decided to make them sort of like step-siblings.

    @lonely.in.gorgeous Since you're new, it's best if you quit now before things get any worse.

    The writers made Dan/Serena step siblings and don't get me started on Chuck/Blair's character assassination bonanza for the last 3 or so years.

    @V That wouldn't be so bad.

  7. Anonymous

    @kavern I wouldn't put too much stock in Blair's 'feelings'/'love'.

    The writers won't let any of the characters develop/grow, they're constantly regressing back to their old selves.

    Josh Safran is incompetent and the new slew of writers are getting worse and worse.

    @ Where's Waldorf I understand. I also want to go back to being a silent member of this forum and the FB page. I just had to dedicate a bit of my time in pointing out some home truths to Anonymous. Frankly if need be, I will be back to comment some more. You seem like a lovely person by seeking to make peace even though you were simply airing your views before you got picked on. That is a great attribute and I must commend you for it. Cheers!

    I'm a relatively new Gossip Girl fan, but now I feel I'll be a fast quitter. Chair has always been my endgame couple, and no offense to Dair (I love that Muppet and how much he loves Queen B.), but what the writers have done to it is...horrid. Chuck becoming a better man was a good move--he couldn't stay all-bad forever--but the last beautiful Chair moments this season ever had were the big apology in Blair's apartment and the limo scene pre-crash. THAT was the endgame I knew. THAT was the Chuck I knew existed under all the evil, a Chuck I saw in the Season 4 finale an could therefore believe in. I love Dair, but I feel so bad for Serena I can't support it because to me, Dan and Serena were endgame too. They were the light to balance out Chair's intensity. Them together was...beautiful in a way Dan and Blair never could be.

    @francene Gossip Girl's been that way since Season 3 where it all went downhill.

    @V No, I'm not instructing/telling people what to do, it's their choice to listen or not. That's my freedom of speech.

    @anonymous The writers are still stomping all over Chair fans again I see.

    @Where's Waldorf Actually, he's back to where he's started from, all of that change the writers made him go through went down the drain again, I'm not really surprised, but it's really annoying that they constantly have to do this over and over again.

    for chair fans, i think there is still hope. but honestly i'm confused as to when did blair gave her heart away.blair said her heart belongs to someone else when did that happen? did i miss something? during 5x16 and this episode she only said to dan that she does have feelings for him but she never really said she loves him did she?

  12. Where's Waldorf

    @V Thanks :) You've made great points. Its just that I don't want to argue anymore, I just want to discuss the show

    i think the last good episode GG had was 4x11 The townie which was written by stephanie savage. when will they come back to write for the show again. i mean no disrespect to joshua safran but seems to me his ideas were terrible. the characters has no real direction. since season 1 serena used to tell that she wanted to change but 5 seasons has passed and she's still making the same mistakes. chuck been reverting back to his dark side, dan is still the same guy who thinks his on a high horse when in fact he's like everyone else, nate's still irrelevant, blair is fickle. they focused solely on the relationship sides that they fail to develop the characters individuality. the characters depend upon each of their romantic partners to grow. which is totally wrong. a person should grow on their own before sharing themselves to others.

    the writers should totally ask some pointers to the TVD writers. because over there they really know how to develop a character.

    @Anonymous
    Yeah before Bart died, I think he was slowly stepping up. But when Bart died everything changed. All these secrets keep pouring out on him and its not like he could ask Bart about them. Still, it does seem like he's really made progress this season wouldn't you agree? He has taken the high road several times. I think that's whats so interesting about him though. His good side is so delicate. It's like any minute he's going to be bad again. It really makes you pay attention to what he's doing. Blair is very confusing at the moment. She really needs an episode where she comes clean about everything and starts to get her life back together. I don't like seeing her uncharacteristically mushy and pathetic, despite it being understandable considering what she's been through this season.

    @exoticasia You're not alone

  16. anonymous

    Did anyone else notice the kiss scene between Blair and Dan was the same thing as when chuck finally said "I love you." Why couldn't the writers leave that for Blair and Chuck? Having him say "say it again" was just like Blair asking Chuck to say it twice. I did not like that.

  17. V

    @Anonymous your freedom of speech ends where another person begins so once again, you have no right to tell/instruct anyone to quit watching the show.

    @Where's Waldorf you really do not need to explain yourself to anyone here. If you want to praise GG praise GG, if you want to complain about GG complain about GG, if you want to discuss plot line in GG discuss same. It is your right and no one should ask you to quit a show just cos you were upset over the demise of Chuck/Blair for a short while.

  18. francene

    @Anonymous dont get me wrong #GG's still my show regardless. Just the different flavors of the show perhaps. despite the horrible episode and coulping. "MY OPINION" FREEDOM OF SPEECH! just expressing ma self... never said i was gonaa stop watching it, it soon finish never the less. so i will continue loving , hating and criticizing all i want.

  19. Anonymous

    @Where's Waldorf I prefer old Chuck (particularly from Season 1/2) and the actor Ed Westwick. I hate what the writers did to him and how they've ruined his character so much instead of actually developing him and have him actually change instead of constantly reverting back, which is annoying because they've done this over and over again. They've also ruined Blair and everyone for that matter in Season 3, I'm not as shocked that everyone's out of character since they've been that way since Season 3.

    I never specifically called you catty names, I was pointing out your posts.

    @V It's my freedom of speech to say whatever I want to say. I'm not forcing anyone to do anything, it's their choice to listen or not.

    I'm watching it like I would a trainwreck, it's like how some people enjoy watching bad films because it's so bad it's interesting to see how much worse it can get.

    And, as for the travesty that Blair has become, I am sickened. She used to be the Queen B; one of the main attractions of the show. Now she is a shadow of her former self; fickle, weak, reliant on others. If the writers were worth a damn, they could take this character sea change and have it turn out that B has been suffering from PTSD (as a result of her miscarriage).

    But, knowing them, they haven't even thought of that.

    I saw this coming a mile off. Is anyone else starting to see that Chuck&Blair as endgame is becoming less and less likely? The writers have been dicking over Chair fans since season 3. This constant back and forth, 'will they, won't they', various ludicrous reasons to keep them apart has gone too fucking far.

    This is partly why I'm all for Dair, now. I got tired of having my feelings and love for the show toyed with. The writers have screwed Chair up so badly now, that any reunion they could possibly script would be inconceivable to anyone with half a brain.

    I wouldn't have minded if they kept Chair apart, as long as they did so in a well thought out, well written fashion. But they haven't done so. In fact, arguably the only well-developed, well scripted plot in the last year or so has been the Dair friendship/relationship.

    It is what it is.

  24. Where's Waldorf

    @Anonymous, dude I said sorry? I didn't call you names or make any catty calls like you're doing to me. I only said how I felt. You don't have to like it, but can we move forward amicably now? Are you a particular fan of Chuck Bass by any chance?

  25. V

    @Anonymous I am telling you it is not your place to suggest that to them. Did they need your suggestion/instruction to start watching the show that you assume they need your suggestion/instruction to stop watching it? You really need to get over your imaginary self importance and let people be happy or sad with the show, after all you claim the show sucks but that hasn't stopped you from trolling all over this site. The change should start from you so instead of complaining incessantly that the show sucks, how about taking your suggestion and quitting the show? Just a thought :)
