Remember that Georgina is in the wedding when everyone received the blast from GG about Blair's video? So how can Georgina be the "real" Gossip Girl, when she was sitting there watching everyone's reaction receiving the blast? Just a thought... :))

i got this from wetpaint "TVLine has scoop that in Monday's Valentine's Day-themed episode, "Crazy, Cupid, Love," Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley) WILL finally reveal his feelings for Blair (Leighton Meester) (TO BLAIR) and, what's more, they say Blair has "a surprising reaction to his catharsis. Or not, if you've seen the photos floating around.""

1.Chuck traded Blair for a hotel

5.Chuck brings the worst out of Blair and Vice Versa.
6.Chuck found peace without Blair's or her being in his life.
7.Chuck is the worst character on the show.
8.Blair does not trust Chuck. (She obviously trusts Dan)
9.Chuck has no respect for Blair. (He slept with Jenny, Blair's enemy.)
10.DAIR FTW !
What more can i say about Chair Worst couple on the show.

Unfortunately for me, for the last two years, I've really seen the strings coming from the puppet masters. It was especially obvious when they ran Serena and Chuck down for the express train for DB ville.
Pretty much every scene Blair and Dan have shared would have been 1000 times better if they had been Serena and Blair scenes. (Because this pretend triangle doesn't really pit Dan against Chuck. It is Serena v Dan for the coveted spot as Blair's best friend.)

@dover Which is exactly my point, none of them are really good friends because of what they do to each other.
@ilovechair Serena treated Dan and Nate like crap and led them both on before ending up with Ben. He did make fun of his dad in the book and both of them got through it.
Unlike some other saint who can do no wrong and can get away with anything.

I agree. It would make sense that Dan sent the blast. He is the one who would benefit the most from it. Maybe he thought that because of the public humiliation Louis would not marry Blair and apart from that he could blame Chuck for sending the blast. Blair would be mad at Chuck and she would turn to Dan.
But I believe that the writers won't do it because that storyline actually makes sense and besides Dan is a saint, he does no wrong*eyeroll* He doesn't treat Serena like crap. And he also didn't make fun of his father in his book.

A lot of people could have send in that video but none of them would make as great an impact as Dan.
Who would be angered if Rufus send the blast? Maybe Dan, who would forgive his dad pretty quickly, and the rest wouldn't care.
Eleanor? Cyrus? Harold? Dorota?! Blair might be pissed but that'd just be a minor subplot for the Waldorf family and wouldn't affect the others.
Serena and Chuck are out of the picture.
Nate? Well, this could go somewhere but I doubt it. He and Blair aren't that close anyway, so introducing this subplot wouldn't make much sense.
Dan is the only one who could change the storyline by sending that blast or am I missing someone??

@ Anonymous: Everyone on this show is a terrible friend and constantly backstabs others. All of them have done things to each other that no sane person could ever forgive, so the characters are either big on forgiveness or forgetful. But even in the first seasons, when they were at their worst, the NJBC immediately came to Serena's rescue when she was in trouble and it was clear who they cared about. They shouldn't be held to real life standards since realistically speaking they should all hate each by now. E.g. Blair helped turn Jenny into a backstabbing, scheming bitch and then threw her out of the city, breaking up the Humphrey family. In real life Dan would never forgive her, in the show he forgot it as soon as he learned that Blair likes old Hollywood movies. And I don't blame him, it just happens on this show.
Also, I agree that the focus on the relationships is what ruined the show.

@dover They weren't very loyal when Serena and Blair have constantly fought and backstabbed each, Blair cheated with Chuck behind Nate's back, Serena cheated with Nate behind Blair back.
So, no, they're not good friends. Nate is lucky he's not involved with Blair horrible drama storylines and he's moved on from that mess.
The writers put themselves in this mess when they made it all about the relationships, then they had to make up terrible excuses to drag out these terrible storylines, while ruining all the characters/relationships and pissing off pretty much most, if not all of their fans that are left.

How about Rufus sending the video? It might fit, right? He knows Dan loves Blair and every parent want his child to be happy...and I am sure he knows how Gossip Girl works (he's Jenny's father, so he just has to know, parents are not blind or stupid :). And he was near when Georgina filmed it... I know it has some holes, but honestly - I think there are much bigger ones in the show sometimes :)

@ Anonymous: And yeah, I know that a lot of people jumped ship or stopped watching and that's because the writers refuse to pick a clear path of action. They are just giving Dair and Chair fans throwaway scenes together which angers both fandoms. They shot themselves in the leg there since currently no one is happy with the series and the characters (Blair is stupid and whiny, Chuck is a love-sick puppy, Dan is a douche, Serena still likes Dan and no one knows why) are just sketches of themselves in order to keep the ships going. If they chose one ship, all characters could just move on and develop into better people. Right now they are just stagnating.

@ Anonymous: Being loving and loyal to their friends while disregarding others was a part of both Blair's and Chuck's characters and not just their relationship with each other. But I found them both engaging and likable then. In a way it's charming and heartwarming to think that people, who can be so terrible to others, are so extremely kind and loyal to their loved ones and can love so much. Blair and Chuck could appreciate someone who was kind to them and helped them. In this season though, Dan and Blair's friends have done nothing to earn such treatment from them. And it's annoying that noone calls them out on it, while in season 1 and 2 every epiosode was about what terrible people Chuck and Blair are or were.

@cantstandGGanymore Not many people are happy, Dair or Chair, the writers are screwing everyone over.
@Dr Holland Actually, that's an unfair generalization.
Many of the Dair fans I've seen are former Chair fans who got sick and tired of the repetitive on and off crap that's been going on for too long that and the writers ruined Chuck and Blair's characters/relationships. Other Chair fans either left for good or are holding on like you.
@dover and @rena Actually that used to be part of Chair's charm.
They used to be fun, manipulative, scheming people who felt that they deserved to be with each other and many Chair fans felt that way particularly in the 1st 2 or so seasons.
Now look at them, Chuck is now pathetically brooding over Blair and Blair is a whiny, unlikable, weak-willed character who is constantly making up pathetic excuses.

@ Dr. Holland:
I also think that Dan wouldn't be able to handle Blair in the long run, though I might be wrong. But what bothers me the most about Dair isn't even that they could or couldn't work well together. What really gets on my nerves is that they treat everyone like crap except each other. Dan's always had a tendency to be a jerk to people other than the girl he is currently in love with, but it's never addressed by anyone. Can't someone point out that he's acting like a terrible douche? And Blair goes on to rage at Serena and then totally disregards Chuck, only to sweetly apologise to Dan. That doesn't make them likable characters to me. They've become so awful this season that they can have each other for all I care. I want them to stay away from Serena and Chuck until they stop acting like such unreasonable idiots.

Gossip girl is totally unrealistic. The plot about getting divorce it's unbelievable. I checked the wedding laws of Monaco. They are old. I know for a fact that a lot of European countries don't recognize religious wedding. In my country, the laws for a divorce have been modified so it will be a lot easier if one of the person doesn't want the separation. Just living apart from each others for few months is enough to get divorce.
