In real life, Dan and Blair is the only couple that really makes sense. They are adorable together. Just went back to see the show for them. I love Dair.

seriously! i Cannot see blair and dan together. It is obvious that she is still in love with chuck (the 100th episode!!!) and that they are clearly endgame. She has also told Dan multiple times that they are just friends(personally I enjoy their friendship). So i don’t understand why people think that blair and dan will become romantically involved.

I love Dair, I think they have great chemistry. That said I’m pretty sure that Chair is end game, which really pisses me off. So I enjoy my Dair moments the way one enjoys ice cream with the knowledge that it will be over soon. Leighton and Penn have such great chemistry though its been a pleasure watching them together(bad writing and all). They should do a movie or something together

I used to be such a hardcore gg fan but these rubbish story lines are losing me. I haven't even bothered watching the whole way through the last few episodes, just flicked. It's so annoying

7. What is Lola's deal?
I'm willing it that Lola's character becomes a truly arc-type character to the whole UES. While Dan is the 'insider' of the UES, I'm not entirely sure it he is still considered the Underdog anymore.
Perhaps, this is the purpose of another outsider, (e.g. Lola) a person who truly thinks that the UES is vile, venomous, toxic and etc society. She won't relent in staying away from their culture and thinks that they all need to be fixed. A True Gossip Girl.
Then, the true purpose of a GG should be to 'teach' the proper morals to live by thyself in this world. Sounds like Nate Archibald doesn't it?

Yes, Lurking in the Shadows, lies Dan Humphrey, as he has trained years as a ninja Chair assassin in the secret arts of tape retrieval. Then again, this is Dan Humphrey and he has enough time to write an entire book to publish, but he must also have a hidden alter-ego. I think not.

5. Georgina as not-the-real-Gossip Girl: Major letdown or major relief?
I was half hoping for a handing down of the reigns of being GG to Georgina (Master to the new intern). But Georgina taking over was essential for what reason? Humour? UES sanity?

OMG!What a disappointment! Blair is using Dan over and over again! How can she be sitting on 3 chairs at the same time? Louis, Chuck and now Dan! Come on Blair. This is worst than mexican telenovelas. Serena is Blair´s best friend and she loves Dan (and by the way they have a huge history together)!Would you be using your best friend´s love like that? Blair could turn to so many people for help, but NOOOO, it must be Dan. If Blair and Dan end up together, I am definitely out.

3. Which Blair excuse for rejecting Chuck is worse, the pact with God or last night's ... whatever that was?
On paper and on principal it makes perfect sense =
Blair wants to be equals with Chuck. Blair doesn't want to be saved as she needs to save herself from her own predicament (taking responsibility for her own actions).
Her actual actions kindof betrayed her. So we can only imply that she doesn't actually want to be Chuck, she needs the help of Dan again, and the only true fault must be the sender of the video tape footage to the GG website.
4. Worse idea: Trusting Rufus Humphrey with a secret or threatening Eleanor Waldorf??
I would trust a dad like Rufus any day, but the laser DEATHSTARE of Eleanor Waldorf would incinerate me instantly. So, my survival instincts would kick in.

"I need your credit card to buy some new clothes. They do offer credit to Brooklyn don't they?"
And here I was thinking that no country has a AAA credit ranking bank, but apparently it really is still a versatile plastic accessory as Seinfeld says about American Express. And as always, Blair hazing Dan is always welcomed.
2. How awesome are Dan and Blair?

Okay, so I'll admit to make Dair work they probably did a number on destroying the rest of the other core characters. This might be inclusive of Blair a bit as well. I think a lot of Chair fans will also admit there friendship seems to rock but maybe not enough for the convoluted plot holes this season.
OK,I get why Blair doesn't want Chuck to be buying or selling her... BUT the Blair we knew would have invented a clever way to get herself out of this mess. I don't even know who she is or identify with her anymore.
Did she ever complete her therapy sessions? Maybe she should work on that for the next few Eps.

@ yur, Calm down. Harlot may have been the wrong word to use, I meant more that she hooks-up with a lot more guys that are irrelevant, or nobody cares for her to be with.(I thought harlot, would sum that up. Let's face it she gets around) Kinda how Blair is with Louis, and how some Chair shippers feel about her and Dan. But Blair keeps on going back to Chuck, it's about damn time we get them back! (and Serenate too!)
And referring to Serena being a flake. Well the definition of flake is an unreliable person; someone who agrees to do something, but never follows through. Things come a little too easy for Serena and not a lot of things hold consequence for her. She's selfish and therefore pushes away great guys, to-and I quote-"find herself"(3x22). That's the impression I get from the character anyway.(Dan calls her out on this in season 4 too, it doesn't change much)

The part I don't understand is why are you calling Chuck a psycho(which is A person suffering from chronic mental disorder with abnormal or violent social behavior.) ... that definition doesn't seem to fit.

1. The episode was ripe with choices! I'm going with Georgina's comment that messing with her Mommy & Me group is more fun that messing with them, because this season has sucked so much I can believe it to be true.
2. Although I am offically neutral in the War Between the Ship Nations, I enjoy Dan & Blair togethor. This week's banter was awesome!
3. The pact with God. I can totally understand Blair not wanting to feel like Chuck bought her from Louis, and all the feelings that would go with that.

4. Bad idea to threaten Eleanor Waldorf. And she was at least a foot taller than Princess Sophie! I laughed at the bad choice of camera angle there.
5. MAJOR Saw-It-Coming! The writers were just looking for a way to include Michelle Trachtenberg in the 100th episode and couldn't come up with something better. I knew they would "fix" their decision later.
6. Dan was just brooding because no matter how there he is for Blair, she will never choose him. My list of suspects is Phillip (where was he?), Georgina, Eleanor, Dorota and Lilly.
7. I still believe Charlola is Gossip Girl. She knows who everybody is. She's just playing dumb so as to not blow her GG cover. And the only reason she's giving Nate any indication he has a shot is because she knows he's never sent any tips into GG. The real question is does Carol really know what Charlola is up to (ie Gossip Girl)?

Lola is the REAL Gossip Girl. She took her hiatus after feeling responsible for Blair losing the baby. That's what will redeem her in Nate's eyes after he inevitably finds out the truth and gets angry.

i laughed when i watched the scene between dan and blair in the motel and i laughed even harder when i read your comment. Okay so you said Last episode's best scene was the scene between chuck and blair. Really? I mean, reeally?? Because in my opinion it was booring, it's been repeated, like, for 5 times this season! (but i guess you took it as one of their 'epic' scene, sigh)
sorry don't mean to be rude but i'm just so tired of all the inadequate opinion regarding the show.
Come on, the scene between dan and blair is very entertaining (and yes, the writer destroyed their character, but still, it's very funny)
and i am a huge chuck and blair fan, love the chase in s1, but this season? Meh,blah, boo
i do enjoy dan and blair friendship, banter, jabs, all of them. But romance? No, please, i prefer the one-sided story.

Hopefully this episode saw the last of chair's 'I love you. Be with me' + 'I love you too but I can't be with you' scenes. I don't think the two of them have had a scene recently that didn't involve some variation of those lines. Maybe they can bring it back next season.....if they get another one.

Blair did, she hooked up with Chuck behind Nate's back and also on Louis. And sure Serena's been in more relationships than Blair but that doesn't make Blair better considering she's with a complete pyscho who mistreated her for the past, what, 3 seasons? And for you to say Serena's a "flake" for pushing away the "right guy" to find herself is RIDICULOUSLY stupid because Blair's done that to chuck so many times.
