I loved The O.C. back in the day but I wouldn't want that the TV couple of another show tried to copy the magic of Seth and Summer or Ryan and Marissa. Each of those couples had its own magic and try to force it on another couple just doesn't make sense to me. To each their own, obviously GG writers think this makes sense, not that their logic is normal in any way.

I've followed all seasons- 1,2,3,4 and (I wish I hadn't watched this) season 5.
They screwed up Blair's character! I remember in season 1 I used to like Serena, until she became so selfish and uncertain about her relationships. But now look at Blair, she's just as messy, if not worse.
I understand she found someone to trust in Dan, but I feel they're so mmm forced. To whom ships Dair and says they're more like real life. Couples do argue, FRIENDS are that pacific. Blair and Dan are just boring. BLAIR is boring now. She's been shameless enough to tell Chuck she'll "always love him" just before she goes running to Dan. I wonder what makes her different from Serena or even (maybe) Jenny now. She used to be my favorite character in this show. I'm disgusted!

It's all comedy Im 100% sure they are going to make things work out ...it's been a year writers have invested on Dait it's not to break it so soon because of some random first time problem!

This forum is such a chuckistan I can't even believe it ...I wouldn't wish to my worst ennemy to end up with someone like Chuck, just unstable and not mentally healthy. Yeah, that's definitely not boring, great ! And as Blair is my fav' character on the show, and we have seen enough of this non-sense mix of Chair, I smile just thinking of the idea of her and Dan (even if it's just fiction! great power TV has on us ppl). I'm all rooting for Dair now, til the end of the show! Smile !

@ ggfan : Chuck should be with someone more like Serena. Not Serena obviously because, eeuw but someone like her. Or some girl who has grown up in a hotel blah blah blah like that other girl he dated the previous season, someone who can live in the fastlane with him.
And the whole DAIR/CHAIR war has gotten so much out of control its starting to hurt the show instead of helping it. The whole show now revolves around Blair Waldorf.

I am also loving the fact that now, every chair fan is moaning how serena isn't getting anything interesting, how rufus and lily have been sidelined and hailing this chivy drama even when the story line was so badly executed. They forget that this isn't new and has been happening since season 3, but were fine with it when boring chair was going on.

7. Did Ivy hasten Cece's death or at least manipulate her will?
I bought all of her "Im so sorry, all i ever wanted was a family" crap until she kicked Lily and Rufus out. I was expecting her to reject the inheritance to prove that all she does want is indeed a family but when that did not happen i at least expected her to prove it some other way. But this is my Favorite Show of All Time for a reason, whenever i predict something the opposite almost always happens.

Ivy getting all of CeCe's money. I predicted it but i thought she would at least leave 50% with everyone else and 50% to "Charlie Rhodes", the granddaughter who was there for her when all of her family wasnt. I did not think she hated her family so much she would leave all of her money to a con artist. Quite unrealistic, But then this is GG

Dan's career was almost tanked not too long ago because of his carelessness of his things so one would imagine he would be paranoid for at least sometime. And its the UES, everyone SHOULD be paranoid by now actually.

Yes, but only for a while. Shes pretty low and everything in her life is falling apart (or already has). Dan and Blair together will send her over the edge but she'll eventual realise shes ruining people's lives like gossip girl has ruined hers and then drop it. Probably because of some guy.

Dan and Blair are more . . . . i dont know what the word for it is in English with it being my 2nd language and all but they look like something for the long haul and not about hotness. It has less to do with sexual chemistry and more to do with being compatible. So, "Nola" (Which means zero in my language BTW.
