Among my friends who watch GG, most of those who ship Dair favor Harry Potter over Twilight, and most of those who ship Chair favor Twilight over HP. Is this true in general? I wish there were some polls to determine the tastes of the fans. Would make an interesting conversation.

@Good drama please The writers put a wrench on the relationships with the whole Louis/prince storylines and they even wasted the whole 100th episode on their dumb wedding.
@junior A study on where they get their terrible ideas and how they poorly botched their characters.

@lila I wouldn't call Leighton a doll it's pejorative. But like I said before you can like a type and fall in love with an exception to the rule.

What they should have done is just put dair together as a couple end of last season but instead they concoct this SL where she's completely and utterly in love with chuck, and in the next shot she loves Dan . WHAT ??? That's why fans are so annoyed why bother with the chair moments this season. It does make Blair look ridiculous she's definitely no independent woman!
Maybe Dair will last and I'll keep watching either way.
I know in real life you would steer clear of chuck but it's a show and Ii cant help but feel his pain and cant help but root for him, he trys to be a better person it just never works out!

@Lila Boobs and nose job, right ? I prefer Leighton. She's more natural. Look at the first season. It seems Leighton doesn't age that much. Blake on other hand.

@ Junior : In Blake's case, it would be plastic surgery too ! She has not Leighton's pretty Betty Boop face, but she's stunning and very elegant though !

@anonymous That's the problem when you study psychology we start by "what's normal" but we finish with the not-normal. This is probably I can find some "sense" in the stories.

@junior Well, seeing how the last episode brings up another revelation about a half-sibling, the writers seem to want to make it more incestuous.
I wouldn't try to justify the writing in Gossip Girl, it's just not possible, even if you wanted to remain ignorant.

@Zoran You know there is a biological theory about why men prefer blondes. It's because the gene "blonde" is only present in 6% in worldwide population. We are looking for the less common genes. So we increase the chance to have healthy children. I don't know if Blake is that pretty. The makeup can masked a lot of things.

@anonymous. I never thought about it until now. But I know a couple who are step-siblings and they have child together too. I start to wonder if I do know too much things and then I can justified every stupid story in Gossip Girl.

Returning to the topic a little easier. Certainly the Serena / Blake incredible beauty, and every man's dream. This girl can not pass unnoticed. It's appearance simply breaks offhandedly, and it's a shame that it has not appeared on the Oscars. The versatile, loves to cook and a great actress, and her smile breaking the legs and leaves no one indifferent. I have always liked blondes, there is something in them that makes them different from the brunette. My great love of high school is very similar to Serena, not so high, but gorgeous and one of the most beautiful.

I do not know where you got the idea that writers have to listen to what they say viewers. They wrote the script, the series was filmed and released in the broadcast, viewers liked and that's it. You can not expect writers to listen to the wishes of viewers this is not a live show. They may accept some ideas but that does not mean that viewers will determine the course of the series. To clarify I do not defend writers and I am not satisfied with their work, but so far things are on TV.

@Zoran I asked because 5 years ago I would said Blair without hesitation. Brunette, cute, smart, bad ass. Everybody knows that my type. But today, I'm in love with a girl who is more a Serena / Blake : Blonde, tall, blue eyes, sensual.
It's why it amuses me so much people saying Dan and Blair have nothing in common. They should not be together, etc.
