Hi Everyone. On AOL Rocks fan site there is a contest by the San Jose Mercury News on TV Crushes. Its down to the final 2 females and 2 males. Alex was blowing people out before, but this time he is up against Jensen Ackles and its really close. Lets show Alex our support and vote for him.
NCIS fans, Cote De Pablo (Ziva) also made it to the final 2.

We are not getting much info for the rest of the season after 2.20. I know the scripts are already written and they are having that crossover episode with NCIS LA. They were giving us a lot of info for the Feb episodes early on.

Jschoi.....I thought it would be interesting to know, since people were wondering if she was going to come back. I had no intention of starting the Lori war again, although I knew it might. Since we have another week of re-runs, and there is another section or review (whatever they would call it) for Alex's situation, people might want to know about this.
I'm looking forward to the 2.19 episode. It's about time they had Mary back, she is Steve's sister. Although this episode gets her into trouble and Steve and 5-0 have to save her. I think they only mentioned her one time, when Joe was explaining to Steve that Shelburne was a code name to protect Steve and Mary. I know we will have a lot of repeats in the next month or so, I miss my new episode already.

Why are we reopening this battle. Lauren has been for almost a month, can we please put it to rest. This is a H50 site LG is no longer a part of H50.

kaydee, you dislike Lauren and not Lori with what you just said (I know one show I won't be watching you said). This is rude. If you don't like Lauren you have every right but stop acting like that. Some people (me for example) like Lauren and become offended. Respect as and keep your opinion (about Lauren) to yourself.

Zia - I agree. Hope it gets picked up so we won't have to worry! At least I know one show I won't be watching (well I might have to watch just one epi to see which character she is - Kay or Shay!)

Kaydee.....Wow, that's 2 completely different people. I wonder which one she is really playing. I know mistakes are made, but that's a pretty big one.
Either way, if it gets picked up, we won't see her anytime soon on H50. I wish her good luck though.

If the pilot sells, then we won't be seeing Lori back anytime soon. I wish Lauren German good luck. I know for her sake that this is a better situation for her, she is coming in on the beginning.

I know I probably should not start this. But I took this off of Deadline/Hollywood about Lauren German:

On Wolf Films and Universal TV’s action-driven drama about the complex and heroic men and women of the Chicago Fire Department, German will play Shay, a fearless EMT who’s as comfortable with the guys in the house as she is with the women. She’s a prankster, always in on the joke and the life of the party. German, repped by UTA and Anonymous, is coming off a major arc on CBS’ Hawaii Five O.

I totally agreed with your review, Jim. James Caan is just a fresh breath of air and I hope that convo in the end, about him being the consultant to Five-O is the door to his comeback! I'm also itching for a nod to the father-son relationship, like maybe Steve will mention that they're like father-son? Lol.
When the camera pans into the woman's wrist, I knew she'd be the culprit. Better work those camera skills so it's not that obvious!
But a part of me is disappointed that we don't get anything long-term-ish in this episode. And more Kono and Chin please!

He needs some rest. He looks skinny and tired. I'm glad he took this step to make things right.
I'm wondering how an episode without AOL would be. Most likely Chin or Danny (or both) are going to be in charge, since they both are detectives.

I'm so glad Alex is taking some time off to get help and I wish him all the best. When someone is in chronic pain for a long while it really shows in their face. That's probably why he's been looking so thin and gaunt. I hope Alex knows how much he is loved.

I hear Alex is having some problems and that he will miss one episode, or at least not be in most of it. I thought he looked better, but apparently he needs to take a little time to help himself. I think he was trying to do too much, hopefully the stunt men will take over now. Shows you how strong he really is to do all that he was doing even though he was in pain. Hopefully, he has learned to not push himself so much, and not take on more than he can handle. I wish him well, because without him we have no H50.

I not overly confident that they can do a Kono story line. They screwed the last one up to the point I was about to throw my tv out the window, fortunately I don't have a window. It became 3 and a half Lori story line with a minute or 2 of Kono thrown to remind us she still existed. Lori is gone so maybe they won't screw it up this time, but they will have to show me.

I share reviewer's opinion that this was the best ep. yet. The chemistry between Scott, James, and Alex was absolutely on point. Would love to see James Caan back for more in future.

@jeffrey sean keith - you make a valid point. Why didn't the writers write the same way w/Lori. Maybe different writers write for different episodes. I don't know but feel that if she was brought in slowly and introduced properly and the fans were given a chance to adjust/adapt to her character, she wouldn't have made such waves. She was written as a 21st Century Superwoman but she acted as someone who couldn't seem to do anything right. It's water under the bridge now. Unfortunately if she comes back I feel her character still won't be accepted because the non-fans are still suffering from a bad taste she left in their mouths. And all the "hate" and rancor will start all over again. It's certainly not a win-win situation.

@jeffrey....glad you are enjoying the show. I actually think it was the opposite problem when lori was on...they tried too hard to write for her and it did not work. They shoved a new character down our throats and made her the center of the show. Big mistake. The writing went downhill because they were trying to make her fit. That was the problem. I am not going to say anything about her as a person or as an actress ( I do have my opinion though) but I will keep that to myself. I dont see her coming back. They barely acknowledged that she left. Not a good sign for a character. I think the door closed on that character. Sorry for her fans but it is what it is. I am glad to have my show back. It is not perfect but it is getting there.

I know that I have been slient for a while now about H50 but I have been busy not wallowing in disappoint. I have loved the last 2 episodes,they have remined me of season 1 with the oneness of the team, the bromance,the carguments and the relationships of family,the light banner,the chemistry and rythem has been back,but something has been troubling me why didn't they do this tremendous writing even with Lori's character,it was lazy and eftortless like they didn't even try. I think it would been possible to do so and make even Lori's fans happy,I don't think Lauren German was a bad actress,she just like her fans got shoddy treaTment. I think there is a small chance she might return and I would hope she gets better writing and more fun inclusiveness in the flow,I think and do hope it is possible and everybody wins!

@Zia @Lena - I guess Kensi is out of the McGarrett Senior's Shelburne picture. Her mystery has been solved. At least that's what we know so far. And by the way, Granger is a good guy after all, can you believe it? I still don't like him, I'll leave him to Hetty.

@amazing alex - I agree. I think the balance is returning, slowly but surely. I'm loving the past few episodes and look forward to the remaining new episodes. And, can't wait to see what they have in store for Kono! (Life without the blonde is so much better!) Really got to get back to work. Bye for now!!

@jschoi - nothing to be ashamed of. We're all guilty. Some just say it better than others. I love GP and how she's grown into a super kick@$$ and agree she should be made a detective (but she's also got to come up the ranks). Hopefully next season!
@kelly - there will always be negativity. I love McDanno but found Chin sorely missing this past episode. Maybe by next season it'll be better balanced. Fewer guest appearances - make the core4 shine on their own since they're more than capable. Here's hoping!
