Leonard Nimoy to Sort of Appear on The Big Bang Theory

by at . Comments

Leonard Nimoy is about to make Sheldon's dreams come true. Sort of.

The Star Trek icon, and hero of this Big Bang Theory character, will lend his voice to the March 29 episode of this CBS smash, speaking to Sheldon in a dream sequence, network insiders tell TV Line.

Leonard Nimoy

Nimoy - who recurred most recently on Fringe William Bell - has been referenced countless times over the years on The Big Bang Theory, from autographed napkins to cardboard cutouts of Spock... which turned out to be Zachary Quinto's version from the rebooted version of the franchise.

It's unclear exactly what Nimoy will say to Sheldon, but who out there isn't dying to find out?

Knowing Sheldon, dream!Spock is probably just, well, Sheldon dressed up with a Leonard Nimoy voice.

I what William Shatner to star in TBBT! He would be amazing! Leonard Nimoy should just make a full on appearance.

He's met/been close to Spock. Remember the restraining order?

Can we get him on the show? Seeing Sheldon freak out over the napkin was a PRICELESS TBBT moment... bring him on the show for a bit and who knows how crazy Shelly would get!

Considering Sheldon's meltdown when receiving the autographed napkin with Mr. Nimoy's DNA on it, I would love to see him actually meet Mr. Nimoy. He would probably faint ....

Sheldon: "My Mind to Your Mind, My thoughts to your thoughts..." One wonders what Dr.Spock looks like in Sheldon's mind?

Great news!

TBBT Quotes

Howard: Attention people of Earth: Tonight, there will be two moons in the sky.

Sheldon: Why do you have the Chinese character for "soup" tattooed on your right buttock?
Penny: It's not "soup," it's "courage."
Sheldon: No it isn't. But I suppose it does take courage to demonstrate that kind of commitment to soup.
Penny: How'd you see it? You said you wouldn't look.
Sheldon: Sorry. As I told you, the hero always peeks.
