We'll try to contain our excitement as we report this, but... NBC HAS ANNOUNCED A RETURN DATE FOR COMMUNITY!!!!!!!!

The sitcom, which the network yanked off its schedule in December, will once again fill the 8 p.m. time slot on Thursday nights, beginning March 15.

In the Cafeteria

Community will take over the spot currently occupied by 30 Rock, which will shift to 8:30 p.m.,  and be followed by The Office and Up All Night in their regular positions.

Parks and Recreation, meanwhile, will then go on hiatus until April 19, returning at 9:30 p.m. and taking the spot of Up All Night once that sitcom completed its first season run.

NBC will also debut a trio of new comedies this spring:

  1. Bent (March 21), which stars David Walton and Amanda Peet and is described as “romantic comedy about a womanizing, surfer dude contractor and his beautiful, no-nonsense, type-A client, who work together to remodel each other’s lives as they renovate her Venice, California home.”
  2. Best Friends Forever (April 4), which features Jessica St. Clair and Lennon Parham as, well, best friends forever.
  3. Betty White’s Off Their Rockers (April 4), a Punk'd-like hidden camera series.
