Taylor Kinney to Star on Chicago Fire
Taylor Kinney, best known to fans of The CW as Mason Lockwood from The Vampire Diaries, has landed a lead role on Chicago Fire, an upcoming drama produced by Law & Order head honcho Dick Wolf.
The series will center around the men and women of the Chicago Fire Department, with Kinney - as first reported by Deadline - portraying Squad Lieutenant Kelly Severide, someone described as an "adrenaline junkie."
The actor joins a cast that also includes Eamonn Walker as the squad's captain.

I may check the show out but still not 100%. I will wait until all the fall schedules are out and work my viewing around the shows I already watch and see what I can fit in with what I find interesting
