I know that Elena didn`t mean it when she told Damon "Maybe that`s the problem", and i know that she just want to get a bit of her freedom back to make own descisions. But it did hurt to watch the facial expression of Damons face. And sorry, why did she blame him for the things she also did. Let`s take Jeremy. Instead of asking him if he want to be compelled, she made the descision for him. Elena is the controllfreak here.

What I find less excusable is that Elena's not seeking Damon out and trying to undo some of the damage she knows she caused by rejecting his affections. At the very least, Damon is currently her best friend in the world, and he deserves that much. Forget the triangle. But Elena is now official the worst friend ever and she deserves that she lost Damon forever. I wouldn`t give a crap about her any longer, and not because she maybe don`t love me back (i think we all know she do) but because she treated somenbody like this..Bad, bad move..
I`m glad Damon found some disctraction with my least favorite barbie-Klaus-vamp..

@Erica Caroline can't possibly look like Klaus's first love because we know that the name of said girl is Tatia. She is the original Petrova. Since Katherine and Elena are the doppelgangers of Tatia- all three of them must look identical. Therefore Klaus's first love looks exactly like Katherina and Elena- not Caroline at all.

I agree with the author. I found the Elena/Stephan/Damon scenes boring and painful to watch. I have said this before and I will continue to say it, Elena will be with Matt in the end. She doesn't even want to be a vampire. As for the Caroline/Tyler/Klaus triangle, the author is right; it's just to get fans hot and bothered. Klaus is a psychopathic mass murderer. Yes, he was robbed of love and MAYBE, love will change him, but he has hurt all of the people closest to Caroline. Even if FORWOOD is over, pairing Klaus and Caroline, will ruin her character. She is such a strong female character who stands her ground (teenage girls’ need such role models on TV). Yes, she is forgiving and kind, but out of everyone, Klaus has caused the most murder and mayhem; he shouldn't be allowed the convenience of being forgiven, finding true love and living happily ever after. He should be given the electric chair, lethal injection and gas chamber all at once. As for the killer, my money is on Jeremy!

Elena hurting Damon and choosing Stefan...hmmm seems to be a theme here. Delena forever and only cause Damon loves her, otherwise I wish he could have someone that is mature and doesn't treat him like her (ahem) second high school love. Elena is beyond selfish and mean and the writers are making us dislike her so much that I honestly think they are killing the show.

@Melissa:yeah i like the stelena scene coz i ship them but honestly as much as i love stelena i will be very happy if the brothers chose eachother at the end coz i see no reason why they will be repeating the same mistake all over again fighting over a girl,i like DEFAN too.And despite the fact that i like stelena i feel bad for damon in this episode coz its preety obvious that elena doesn't want to feel something for him talk more of to be with him,she wants stefan back,and damon making out with rebekah isn't going to help the situation coz she's one of stefan's ex.

@stefelena.It`s normal that you love the Stefan/Elena scene because you`re a shipper, but for me as a just Stefan/Damnon-shipper fan I´m honestly pissed of Elena. Her craving for Stefan feels ugly and desperate, and it`s obvious that she treats Damon like crap because she don`t want to feel something for him. Sometimes it gives me the feeling that se just want Stefan back because his love was save and loving Damon is something that is uncomftable for her. For me i`s time that a descision will make before nobody gives a crap about who`s together with Elena. Damon, Stefan or the neighbours dog. In my opinion she turns more and more to Katherine, but it doesn`t works with her because she isn`t so much fun like Damons and Stefan maker. Dn`t like this character in the moment

I love the fact that Caroline and Klaus were kind of feeling one another. Klaus needs someone to love him and I think Caroline should be the one. I believe that if Klaus found love he would not be so mean. He fancies Caroline, she should give him a shot. She's given everyone else one......

the show sort of pins katherine as the evil one, but I think Elena is really the evil one. I mean Elena's using him far worse than Katherine ever did and at least Kat was straight up with him (eventually) and told him she loved Stefan, not leading Damon on like Elena seems to do every single episode. I like Katherine better, they should make Elena and Katherine switch places, that would be way more interesting than whatever it is Elena does.

I think, Klaus' feelings for Caroline is pure. I mean, maybe he admire Caroline for still being there and love Tyler despite the fact that he's sire to Klaus and almost killed her. Tyler is a hybrid like Klaus and for Klaus being a hybrid, he thinks he's different, alone, and no one will love him. Or maybe, he likes Caroline because he looks like Klaus' first love. Does he?

I think that was a beautiful episode even though it had turned into a painful one, it was an episode full of intense and cute moments but then every thing have changed and even that I knew that Damon will be hurt by Elena I did not expect hearing her telling him that maybe his love for her is the probleme, it caused me a heart ache and i just couldn't not to cry. And to be honest all I want for now is seeing her hurt as much as she made him feel.
(Cont'd)I can't believe the original witch wants to kill her children,finn has been in the coffin for over 900years he didn't even enjoy his life as a vampire but he's ready to die,but may be she will change her mind coz of elijah,i love the scene where she told him that she wish his sibling were more like him,he's just so moral.Still pissed at elena for not stopping elijah.And damon making out with rebekah is not a smart move why would he be always taking stefan's leftovers it's so downgrading.
I really really feel bad for damon after elena told him that may be his love is the problem,the look on his face he was terribly hurt,i just feel bad for him and please if the writers can't let him have elena for even a while then let them find another girl for him,i bet damon will be happier with someone else,he deserves to be happy after all,let him have a girl that is 100% his coz he can never have elena completely,and please DE fans stop complaining stefan and elena are not back together,they just had a moment.This is a love triangle both couples will be explored,remember the last few episodes where elena was mean to stefan and nice to damon.
I don't even know where to start but i was a little bit disappointed after watching this episode,may be coz i have high hopes but nevertheless the episode wasn't that bad.I love the scene where rebekah try to bite elena and elijah stopped her,i can't believe elena didn't stop elijah from drinking that champagne the guy saved her life,he trust her and she just betray that trust.I love the stelena scene,how she hold his face and ask him to feel something anything and that she don't believe he don't care at all,i totally understand him when he said if he let him self care,all he feel is pain.The look on his face when elena said she will call damon and let him know that she's home safe was heartbreaking it was like he feel he lost her to damon.

I`m a little pissed of the storytelling right now. I´m feeling a little bit reminded to LOST. Remember, everytime when you thought a problem is solved, there are three new one. Season 2 of TVD hadn`t so much action, but it was full of strong storytelling and great development of the main and supporting characters. Now after a great episode follows a stupid one and there are too many lost threads the writers don`t put together again. Well maybe, we have to wait till this sessons end, but for now i can`t see how they could save the sinkin boat. I`m really pissed about Elena how she treats Damon. Really bad move. What`s this stuff with Klaus and Caroline. Sorry, but i don`t want another puppie agein..And there isn`t any chemistry..Where the hell is Katherine?..She forced Stefan to steal the coffins, and kow??..Is she on vacations??..And Stefan, now a depressiv ripper??..Julie, please remind your self how you worked in season 2.

OMG, THIS WAS BY FAR MY FAVORITE EPISODE OF TVD EVERRRRR! I don't care what anyone says but if it wasn't for Klaus, Caroline, and a prospect of Klaroline, I would be so done with this show by now. Freakin Klaus is so cute around her and asdfghjkl, I just want them together ok?
I really don't care about the Stelena/Delena love triangle. They are so boring now. I usually just tune Elena out because ugh, I can't stand her. And I started hating Damon's character since the day he started becoming Elena's doormat. Whatever she says, he does so I'm glad he's going back to his season 1 ways.
Can we have more of Klaus and Caroline? Did anyone notice that NO ONE on this show has ever complimented Caroline on all her qualities like Klaus did in the previous episode? He gave her a dress, diamond bracelet, and freakin drew a picture of her. That's more than anyone has ever done for her.

Bored Now, you actually spend more time commenting on TVD posts, a show that only interests you for a single character, than commenting on any of the other shows you like. I'm all for free speech, but I think that's a problem.

Well at this point I am more interested in keeping the originals around. The dynamic between Elijah and Klaus interests me more than the one between Stefan and Damon at this point.
One thing that does strike me is that I am forgetting why it is imperative to get rid of them anyway? Unless Klaus has some diabolical plan he isn't telling us about he seemed to be settling down.
Also they seem in control of their blood lust a lot more, I am assuming they could drink without killing like Damon used to? Surely their mum must have noticed the difference.
I think it's a conscious move on the writers part and I quite like it. They had us convinced of the 'big bad nature' of the originals and then they show us just enough of their emotional side to make us (well me) root for them not to be destroyed (especially Klaus and Elijah).
It will flip again soon, but I like it

Wow, just wow, Elena. The guy just spent three seasons loving you pretty much unconditionally despite a hell of a guilty conscience, risked everything over and over again to keep you safe and all you got is “maybe your love is the problem”?
I’m not sure I like Elena anymore; she seems to have got it into her head that she will always be Damon’s one and only, so she can just treat him however suits her best. Come on people, she’s using him! Damon should just walk away, and if he can get some from the hottest vampire in town along the way, well good for him.
Damon: She's strong and crafty and you'll die. Elena: At least I'll die trying.
