I want Elena to be a vamp, or at least to be badass. I'm bored with the inocent Elena. After all she's been through it is more believeable if she's a little more...

well i dunno how i felt about this episode...
of course the mystery killer is easy - a vampire who hates vampire hunters and has elena's fingerprints and is not kathryn?

didnt care enough about bill's death cos he needed to be in the show a bit longer for me to care...
original witch - not a great entrance - needs more charisma lets hope that grows

Nyckec, you're forgetting Elena and Jeremy aren't blood related brother and sister, they are cousins (her father was his mothers brother) and I dont think that's Petrova's bloodline.

Elena and Jeremy aren't related by blood. They grew up believing they were actual brother and sister, but in one of the episodes Jenna tells Elena the truth. Can't remember which one.

Okay if Jermy is Elena's brother and if she dies or becomes a vamp wouldn't he still be a carrier of the Petrova bloodline? It may not be as strong because she is the doppleganger but they are from the same family...HUMMMM!

I do not care about the love triangle, in fact I don't care about Elena at all. She may be the main character but I hate how she's thrown into scenes where she has no significance whatsoever. Less Elena, more Tyler. Yet again, he didn't have any screen time and he's far more interesting than Elena. I hope we see lots of scenes with the original family next week, I love Elijah and Rebekah! More Stefan and Damon scenes as well, please. I also hope we see the original doppelgänger, whether it be in flash backs or she's still alive somehow. The coffin was honestly a let down, I wanted something more. She forgives Klaus? That was boring.
This episode was a major shock but surprising at the same time. Since Klaus's mother was discovered in the last coffin, I'm not sure if they'll all be a family again. If they do, then they better not cause any more trouble and they should definitely leave Mystic Falls for good. If they don't, there might be more chaos but they'll definitely want to spilt up from each other for like, ever. If Elena considers loving the Salvatore brothers, then she shouldn't panic over them anymore but I want the Stelena fans to rise again. If she marries Matt, then this show won't feel like a vampire diary anymore. This show may be growing more shocking from the events, but it gets more interesting to watch everytime. =) =O =P

I think katherine came back for revenge especially since they killed one of her family members she probably teamed up with someone and now is on a killing spree. it has to be her if " elena" finger prints were on it. I think she furious
Oh and I liked seeing some vulnerability in Klaus when he saw his mom

All the scenes with Damon, Stefan, Elijah and Klaus were great! I love that Elijah is on team Salvatore, or at least he was since he has his mother back Elijah will no longer need Damon and Stephen's help. I knew that it was Esther in the coffin, I just was not expecting it to open so soon.
So happy to have my old Stefan back..he finally admitted that he still loves Elena!! Damon admitted the same thing! I like that Klaus and Elijah loved the same girl many years ago. It all makes since that Klaus needs Elena alive as only doppleganger blood can help him make more hybrids as Tatya was the original Petrova and that Esther killed her and used her blood for her children! That is also why Klaus tried to make the deal with Stefan and Damon to leave her alone and let her be with Matt and have kids so that the Petrova line will go on forever.
Can not wait until next episode!

I knew Mr Forbes would be the one killed. He hates Vampires and would never want to become one himself. Poor Alaric how many times will that guy die and come back to life?

I think that it would be weird for Stephan and Elena to get together now that Paul's real life wife is playing Dr. Meredith Fell. The real life couple of Nina/Ian Elena/Damon is great! Their chemistry is amazing.

This show is what Gossip Girl used to be. So far, this is the best CW show. I cannot stand the Secret Circle. I think that everyone is talented and good looking. The casting director should get a nice bonus for this. I love that Rebekka and Elijiah are back.

Feel free to tell me I'm nuts but does anyone else think it's odd that Jeremy left town right when the murders started? Do we know for sure he got on a plane? He knows where all of Alaric's weapons are. What if he started on vervain before Damon compelled him but after having his brain washed twice (well once & attempted once) all his parent figures dying, having 2 dead girl friends, loosing Bonnie & having Ric & Elena betray him by having him compelled, he snapped. Maybe he wants to get rid of anyone covering up the truth? He stabbed Ric for being part of the cover up & left the ring on since it didn't matter since he's human. I'm trying to figure out why they sent him away. There have been many times they should have sent him away if they are only thinking of his safety. Why do it now? I don't think it makes sense plot wise & no one has said that Steven McQueen had to leave to work on another project have they? You have to admit it would be an interesting plot lin
Hmmmm...I found the whole story with Tatia kind of predictable....And i had expected that it would be her lying in that coffin afterall. But then the Family Reunion got place...I liked seeing them all together again but i don't see how the OW would be the one in the locked coffin.She ain't a vampire, plus i thought that her heart had been ripped out!
To tell you the truth...I can't really see what Klaus' intentions were...He was carrying his whole family with him, most (now all) of them resented him. Plus his mother, the one that he murdered, is a kickass, powerful witch that can shutter him to pieces. So what is it that he was expecting to happen so that they could have a happy family reunion without the rest of the family memebers wanting to erase him from the face of earth?!!

Honestly this episode was weak. I know that Delena wont fully happen until later in the series BUT. It is going down, but I admit the thought of SE is so boring. I hope she's alone for a while and Matt might be a temp fix but Elena could still become a vamp or Damon human...

We don't know that Elena and Katherine have the same fingerprints. I highly doubt it.
As much as I don't like Klau, he was 100% right about Elena and having a normal life. She never will with Damon and Stefan in it. She's said she wants to have a normal life so at some point those brothers will have to do the unselfish thing and let her live it. She needs a break from those 2 for a while.

I seriously don't get the Delena fans like seriously?, Stefan has not offended Elena in any way, the only thing he did wrong was save his brothers life only to loose his girlfriend to him. Damon is sexy agreed but stefan is so handsome n with a great body, check out his arms!!!
Elena : I just want to kill her. It's that simple.
