Soon enough, this won't even be classified as news, but The Big Bang Theory defeated American Idol during the half hour they were matched up last night, topping the ratings giant for the second consecutive week. Altogether, CBS easily won the evening...

The Big Bang Theory: 16.4 million/Rob: 11.3 million
Wipeout: 5.9 million
30 Rock: 3.2 million/Parks and Recreation: 3.65 million
The Vampire Diaries: 2.7 million

9 p.m.
Person of Interest: 14.9 million
Grey's Anatomy: 9.6 million
The Finder: 6.9 million
The Office: 5.3 million/Up All Night: 3.8 million
The Secret Circle: 1.75 million

10 p.m.
The Mentalist: 13.5 million
Private Practice: 6.65 million
The Firm: 3 million

    Yeah well people were more interested in that person of interest show... whatevs. The alt reality ep was by far the best ep ever this season.

    So obviously 30 Rock isn't fairing any better in the 8 slot than Community...it the slot thats the problem not the shows. They are going against BBT.

    Now NBC stop being silly and give us back community.

    I expected more for Grey's Anatomy's alternative episode.
    I'm glad that Private Practice rose up. I hope it keeps going up.
    Sucks for 30 Rock. Hopefully NBC won't pull it like they have other shows.
