Awake Promo, Poll: What Did You Think?

Was it an hour-long dream from which you never wanted to wake up? Or a nightmare?

NBC premiered its wildly-anticipated, critically-beloved new drama last night, introducing viewers to the confounding, dueling worlds of Detective Michael Britten on Awake. We loved it.

Looking ahead to next Thursday, Laura Innes will debut as Michael's superior, someone concerned over his bizarre behavior, but not for the reasons you might think. The following NBC teaser for season one reveals that a much bigger conspiracy may be at work here. Might that car accident not have been an accident?

Sound off now with your take on Awake. What did you think of the pilot?

It's understandable that some might not appreciate it (I really liked it) - this first episode was largely concerned with setting the premise. It has all of the ingredients to be a great series. Thw writing and direction were good -you only need to see the strong, established characters to see that that's true. And I mean all of them, including the two therapists. The acting was top-notch, with established, engaged actors, none of whom "phoned it in". Every one of them committed. It was great entertainment - I can't wait for more.

So, I'm monitoring him, he's fine.

Harper: You should have listened instead of taking out his whole family. It was insane.
Mysterious Man: We can debate the details all you want, but lets remember we were protecting you as much as anyone.
