Dallas Promo Photo: It's Not a Dream

No, Dallas fans, you aren't dreaming.

The iconic 1980s primetime soap opera - which controversially opened its ninth season with Pam finding Bobby, thought to be deceased, alive, well and in the shower - plays off its most memorable scene in a just-released promotional photo for the upcoming TNT remake.

Check out the steamy ad now:

Given that the character of Pam Ewing isn't in this new version of the show, I think it's a bit stupid to use the 'dream' bit....

This is NOT a remake, it is a continuation. The poll question is very misleading.

I would watch it, but I only have broadcast TV. I don't get TNT. I was a devoted follower of Dallas in its heyday -- it was the one program my mother watched in about twenty years. We enjoyed it together. I may be mistaken, since they played the sound of the shot, but did not ever show who shot the gun, or at what or whom, but I always had the impression that JR Ewing shot himself. Is he risen from the dead?

And what about the other two brothers, Gary Ewing and Ray Krebs? Not to mention Charlene Tilton, aka Lucy Ewing? I would like to know what they envision as having happened to those characters. I'll be reading the reviews ...
