Can't wait to see the new Dallas i watched it as a kid. i loved the show, so i know it will be great. How can it not be with JR Ewing. Looking forward to the show.

Given that the character of Pam Ewing isn't in this new version of the show, I think it's a bit stupid to use the 'dream' bit....

This is NOT a remake, it is a continuation. The poll question is very misleading.

I would watch it, but I only have broadcast TV. I don't get TNT. I was a devoted follower of Dallas in its heyday -- it was the one program my mother watched in about twenty years. We enjoyed it together. I may be mistaken, since they played the sound of the shot, but did not ever show who shot the gun, or at what or whom, but I always had the impression that JR Ewing shot himself. Is he risen from the dead? And what about the other two brothers, Gary Ewing and Ray Krebs? Not to mention Charlene Tilton, aka Lucy Ewing? I would like to know what they envision as having happened to those characters. I'll be reading the reviews ...
