Hugh Dancy Cast in Lead of Hannibal

Hugh Dancy has been cast in one of the most sought after roles of the 2012-2013 season.

The British actor will take on the lead role of FBI agent Will Graham in NBC's small screen version of Hannibal, the network's version of Thomas Harris’ Red Dragon novel. It's already been picked up for a 13-eisode order.

Totally agree with Jarrod.... No one could do justice to that role after
Hopkins.... and what's the problem with trying to get him? He's still out there doing his thing -- he'd probably love to do it..... If you want an audience to the new show, you just have to get Hopkins!


Considering Anthony Hopkins has said that he's done with playing Hannibal, I'm not sure who can compete with him in any way, shape or form. The man was a God playing Hannibal. Finding the right person means going as far as looking under a rock for him. Nothing can compete.
