Maria Bello Cast on Touch
Maria Bello is joining the cast of Touch.
The actress - who anchored NBC's Prime Suspect prior to that show's cancellation earlier this season - will play the mother of a daughter who shares a similar gift to that of Jake on this Fox drama.
According to Deadline, Bello is in line to become a series regular on season two... if there is a season two. Ratings so far make that a strong possibility.

I too am still upset that Prime Suspect was cancelled. It was a great show, had outstanding actors and Maria Bello was outstanding. NBC was stupid to cancel it, they offer nothing for me anymore. Can't wait to see Maria on Touch!

If Prime Suspect had been marketed as something other than...Prime Suspect...it might have done better. Too many fans of the original series with Helen Mirren were aghast at the US remake to actually watch it after the first episode.

I'm still upset that Prime Suspect was cancelled but I am excited that I will get to see Maria Bello again soon!
