Yes would be interesting to see Ducky's Dad, never heard him mentioned, i hope they bring the character Jason back he was a great addition, and well JLC i have to agree does not need to come back, brings the show down

When is Trent Kort coming back? We were all left waiting when he was located in Israel & Ziva's boyfriend was sent to "deal" with Kort. So? What really happened? When is Kort coming back I ask again. His character is still the best foil for Gibbs.

All the Tiva 'haters' hush.. tedious. Now as for the finale.. of course it will be a cliffer..but let's face it , the last few NCIS's have been dull and duller.. As if last weeks was edge of your seat exciting..and I adore my NCIS! Tiva centered, wedding explosion of some sort.. Tiva goes in a direction, a good one.. and if they are going to blow something up, can they at least change that orange paint at NCIS! Please.. And not enough TONY? Are you kidding me? It's been ALL Tony (not that I am complaining.)

Sorry - didn't say that right at the end of my comment. Tony only got a season finale when DPB was in charge. He also used to get entire episodes where he was the skilled, competent hero. The other team members teased him, but they also respected him too. But after DPB was ousted and others took over the show's agenda changed. Tony has had no multi episode finales and is rarely even cast in danger scenes, since Gibbs and Ziva are always the ones in peril, or the heros now.

I would love it if Jeanne came back, but then the SF couldn't focus on Gibbs or Ziva, so she won't be back. The finale always has to center around drama and peril for Gibbs and/or Ziva. Tony hasn't had a multi episode, full of intrigue finale since season 4, when DPB was ousted and MH and others came into power.

I agree with you Lola. I love the idea of lots of Ducky, but I'm so tired of Ziva AND Gibbs always being center of season finale stories. Ziva is a total bore for me, no matter how much drama the writers contrive for her, and although I've always liked the character, I'm really getting bored with all the Gibbs drama too. I really wish Tony and/or McGee would have significant action in the SF, but it will probably be all about Ziva and Gibbs - again. I wish tptb liked other characters besides these two.

I am excited to hear that the season finale will be "Ducky heavy" but please, please, PLEASE...no more ziva-heavy finales...enough already!!

I too love Ducky. He is my second favorite character after Tony. I like the idea of a "Ducky heavy" SF. I just wish that for once, the danger and excitement cliffhanger elements of the story could center around someone besides Gibbs and/or Ziva. Really wish Tony could be more than supporting cast in the SF this year.

How about having movie-buff Tony (talking to Ducky) make a reference to "Eric" in "The Great Escape". Either that, or have Ducky mention that he once escaped from a German Prison Camp during the Second World War.

I have been a big fan of David McCallum since I watched him play both Illya Kuryakin (The Man From U.N.C.L.E.) and an escaping flyer in The Great Escape. I love the "Ducky" episodes. He seems to still be in excellent health -- and he looks far better than McGee does. That young man still looks like death warmed over. I'd like to see Ducky get a lady friend who is not nuts, nor a killer. A few seasons back he had some dates with the lady medical examiner. Too bad she vanished.

Ducky has had some great eposides I guess my biggest worry is the finale being wasted on wedding for a character that from day one has been pointless
