    Yea this episode was extremely hyped up..I guess since the flashback heavy "end of the affair" episode I had gotten high hopes for "1912"..ill admit the episode did pull on the heartstrings but still..did anyone else feel sparks btwn matt and elena??

    I was actually pretty disappointed with this episode. Was I the only one who found the flashbacks thoroughly boring? Although the show redeemed itself in the last 15mins (which I admit were amazing), I found it really slow. Maybe I was expecting too much from the promo...

    I love the Defan bonding in this episode. The flashbacks was not that interesting. Melissa still bores me even though she is not the killer. Stefan trying to control his blood thirst was not realistic because people who tries to control their addiction stays away from the source so he should have stay in the house. Rebekah provide a nice distraction and I am liking her more. I am going to miss Alaric but he became useless and am I the only one who thought the hug was a little too close to Elena bottom.
