by at . Comments

The CW has released a series of photos from next Monday's Gossip Girl episode, "Despicable B," in which Blair feels like her UES status might be slipping away and devises a plan to assure that doesn’t happen.

Meanwhile, Lily throws a family gathering in an attempt to prove the van der Woodsen family is as united as ever, and Nate digs into Diana’s past through seductive means and is surprised by what he discovers.

Just four more episodes remain in the series' fifth season. How will it all end? Follow the link to read our Gossip Girl review from last night's "Salon of the Dead," then click to enlarge the images below:

Dair's future would be like Rufus and Lily. Blair will always want to be part of a scheme and she will always do what she must if someone does wrong to her or those she loves. She would not hesitate to Ban someone from UES even at this stage of the Game. Can Dan handle that? Sorry to all you Dair lovers but Blair will be just as badass ass Lily and CeCe..yes not her family but that is what her spunk is like, plus she is sooo much about the UES like Lily. It is Serena that is looking for something more. Dan you missed the boat.

Kind, supportive and unselfish - really I must have been watching another Chair relationship than you. I like Chair but those aren't the adjectives to describe their relationship. Both too self centred to admit their feelings until something awful happens, leaving her at the helipad, trading her for a hotel, sleeping with Jenny and Lord knows who else, Eva, Raina, Uncle Jack, Louis and so on. They were great TV for all those reasons but they were never a healthy pairing.

Dair is disgusting. Lets be honest

I can understand if people don't ship chair. But how people shift from Chair to Dair is what I don't get. What is so attractive with Dair ? They may be okay to watch. But ship ??? Dorota and Jack will be more ship-worthy than Dair !

Yes, Chuck and Blair love was kind, supportive and unselfish. It WAS. Not any more. Blair has turned into a selfish and irritable bitch. No doubt Donut suits her more. They are the most selfish people on the show. Why on earth will Blair need a UES status ? She has Brooklyn now. Dairsaster is endgame. Perfectly fine and I don't care, but please disappear from my TV screen asap.

chair was the past. it's over. done for. whatever they had in their teens doesn't work anymore. dair is the present and future. they are solid and work. i like chuck though. i'd like to see him as a villain again like season 1. apart from rooting for dan and blair since the hall scene, i adored chuck and blair, until it (chair) was unbearable to watch. too much pain. now dair, dair is love! yet i wonder if gg will end up with everyone being single and friends.

I think it is lovely that your relationship with your husband is wonderful but obviously your preference for that kind of dynamic is exactly that - your preference. I also have experienced both and prefer the former. A love that is kind, supportive and unselfish is better for me. I dislike the drama and uncertainty of something more difficult and hated the way it made me feel. My husband and I can sit together and read, be out and about sharing our common interests like F1, running and movies, we can fight but then talk about it and I don't have to be concerned that our relationship is dull and boring. For us, its exactly what we need. And maybe for Blair, after all the drama of Chuck and Louis, Dan is what she needs right now. That, of course, could change in the future.

@FAN agree! We're embarrassed for you, Blair! plus a little grossed out - okay, a lot.

cont.: they both want to live in Paris in the 20's (I'm thinking if GG stole this from Woody Allen's Midnight in Paris), they have both said they would do anything for the other...

@ Lexie: I tell you what Chuck and Blair have in common: they dream in Old Hollywood movies format. There, I said it. It might sound silly, but that's one thing they have in common. There are others too. They both love fashion and dressing to the nines (episode 4x7 War of the Roses, when they were negotiating that treaty one of the points was who was allowed to go to which Fashion Week, Paris and/or Milan), they both used to have like a fetish wardrobe item (Blair with the headbands and Chuck with the scarf), they both see the UES as a kingdom, they both like to scheme, yes, but they also like and know how to strategize, they both have a blond BFF since childhood that isn't smarter than them, they both are only childs, with similar physical traits. They have both been portrait in the show eating strawberries so it seems like a sutil implication that they like them, Blair likes macaroons and Chuck didn't seem to mind them on 4x8, they both speak French, they both want to live in Paris in the 20's (I'm thinking if GG stole this from Woody Allen's Midnight in Paris), they have both said they would do anything for the other...
