Okey, I'm a dair fan but I have to admit - this was the best episode in a looong time, mostly thanks to njbc and chair.
Even though dair in real life would be a flawless couple this isn't real life. This is television and television needs excitement and sparks which (lets face it) only classic chair can provide.
And come on, calling other fans names and so on is just immature.

when the episode ended, i started questioning myself: could Dorota be Gossip Girl??? that smirk at the end was weird!
- All 3 Bass men in an episode together! Of course the episode gets 5 stars from me (make it 10!!! cause we had Chair for bonus). I have to say though i'm very very concerned about Chuck. When his father died he went through hell and now... What? Will Bart's explanations be good enough for Chuck to forgive his long time absence?
- Blair and Dorota rocked the episode!
- I'm really sad for Serena. She really feels as she has lost everything, but i hope that with the support of her friends she'll come back to her old self (btw can Lola die?)
-I think Dan giving up the Italy opportunity was stupid. He gave it up for all the wrong reasons. Dan may not be my favorite character at the moment but i do want his dreams to become true.Despite his many many flaws he trully is a talended person and he has worked far too hard to waste chances like that.
so if bart bass is alive and diana is not chuck's mother, the identity of the one who really donated the blood in the hospital for chuck is bart?!

no offense to DAIR fans but i think blair's heart will always be with chuck no matter how hard she convince herself that it's with someone else. i think at the end of the day blair will come back to chuck. but i somehow felt bad for dan i mean if i was in his position i would feel threaten too. what chuck and blair shared was and maybe still sharing is so big that its hard to top it. also, it was nice that i think for the first in this show dan and blair's relationship doesn't lack communication because as much as they can they try to talk things thru but the real connection doesn't seem to be there. whereas, chuck and blair no matter what happen even if they are apart their connection is magnetic so to say. it's always there. maybe dan is better off with serena somehow. dan makes serena a better person and if dan is with serena he doesn't feel threaten because there really is no one out there that is serena is more in love with other than dan.

You're right, since Bart is alive, the marriage between Lily and Rufus is not valid. Lily is still married to Bart. I think it will now slowly to be reconciliation between Lily and Rufus. Lily and Rufus are best functioned until they were married. And probably in the next season will be Lily divorce from Bart and return to Rufus. But probably will not get married because their first marriage was not successful. Of course all this can lead to Serena and Dan finally be happy together! Provided that Dan will save Serena from does not she move to the dark side! Something like it is the end of a season 1? But now Dan would probably do the opposite of what he did it in season 1.

I agree that this will stop Dan and Blair being friends. I would've much preferred that the writers had the two of them come to a mutual conclusion and then revisited Chair but this again makes Blair look bad.

Please do not make assumptions about my preferences. I am not denying that I like Dair - read my first bloody sentence of the last post properly!!! I don't mind if Chair get back together as I like them too. All that concerns me is the way that the writers are appearing to do it will ruin the Dair friendship which is a shame and I'm still not sure that this will fix the Blair I love. You know what's not cool - bashing other fans without full knowledge of the facts so button it!

Dan does not believe anything Blair about Chuck, it's a fact. If and when the split is of Dan and Blair, Dan will to blame for the connection between Blair and Chuck. And therefore Dan and Blair can not stay friends. But if they come to a mutual termination, ie. and Blair and Dan realize that they are not for each other, then they can remain just friends. I think Blair is on the way to figure that out, the only question is when will Dan understand that? It is interesting that Dan once again has a blockade in writing a book! It seems that he lacks inspiration. And we all know that his only inspiration - SERENA!

I like all the ships for a variety of reasons and so have no real inclination to one or another. However if the writers end Dair for Chair then we will have lost the Dair friendship which could've remained post breakup as long as it was a mutual decision and not for the reason of Chuck. Also I'm still not sure how getting Chair back together helps Blair find herself again? Blair herself highlighted the hotel trade as the starting point for her fractured character. Are they then saying the Blair is only herself with Chuck? Well then yet another man defines her! I'm also not entirely convinced that all these indicators for Chair are misleading in some way - to suck Chair fans in.
