I can't stand DAIR they make me sick. So I've quit watching. However what I did do was look up any CHAIR scenes on You tube and only watched those. I refuse to watch a complete episode of pure nonsense with DAIR. Because it's CHAIR always & forever

Poor Lola. I liked her a lot with Nate but he's too blind not to believe Serena is GG. He preferred to trust her over his girlfriend =S I hope he's going to miss her! She might come back since she's Serena's half sister... =) Serena is so miserable right now. She doesn't have a life so she needs to screw others lives and more, her cousin's... I like her sense of family! >_<
The reveal of Chuck's mother wasn't surprising at all. 2 seasons ago when he learned her mother was still alive and might be it was Elizabeth, well that was a shock! Ed Westwick is such a good actor as Chuck. Even though he had less screentime, his lines were great!
DAIR was boooooring. Lily and Rufus need to stay together. Lily is so dumb to be mad at Ivy. OK, she let people think she was Charlie but as she said, she has no one and she made a good deed by staying at CeCe's bed.

We did see Bart dead..remember when Serena was in the hospital and chuck came to see he in the Hampton's..he had a flashback of when he saw him in his hospital bed!

I mean those weird literary people they invited to the party (I don't know much about them, I skipped through the Ban scenes). Blair is also friends with Chuck.
I'm happy Chuck is processing this shocking news without having a total meltdown. He is truly growing up. I'm glad he is coping without turning to Blair after the way she treated him during the last episode. I hope that in the upcoming episodes, she's the one who seeks him out, and not him begging for her help. That would really piss me off!
This was the first GG episode i watched after ''Backup Dan''. I didn't plan to watch until the finale but the GGwriters will have to thank the chair community for reminding me how awesome this show used to be so i felt kind of nostalgic.Especially after reading Dr Hollands' (Pomp and Circumstance) i just need it me some Chuck and Nate right away! So there were some good parts in this episode: 1) Lola auditioning for a Lars Von Trier movie! Lololol! Cause clearly the manic depressive director spends his free time checking GG and was mesmerised by the upcoming ItGirl 2) Chuck's heartbreaking performance at the salon.The mother SL is pretty stupid but Ed really was the highlight of this episode 3) Serena crashing the party like a boss and i think i wouldn't mind her being GG for a while longer. It's working very well for her character and for moving certain SLs.

i was thinking the same thing, bart must be alive. you always have to question whether someone actually died or not when you dont see the accident or a body and i remember we never saw bart die just saw lily getting a phone call!
as for @ zoran i really dont think the writers will go down the path of incest, shes already sleeping with her sons roommate

I don't think that the secret that Diana hides is that Jack is Chuck's father. She didn't tell Chuck that she is his mother and look the consequences, I doubt that she would lie to him again.

Prediction. bart is alive and thats the secret gg has on diana. bart being alive automatically makes rufus and lily's marriage invalid and they will no longer be married and since theyre fighting they probably will keep it that way for however long the writers see fit. boom

Cause I definitely haven't.
But I loved the episode though ;)

As for incest between Serena and Dan, this is not true two of them have no blood ties. Incest would be if Serena was with Scott, her and Dan half brother . I think it very strange that now Bart is alive. It is less surprising that Diana was a distant relative of Nate by his grandfather. Nate grandpa and Diane they know long time ago. But the great secret that hides Diana, would simply be that Jack's father of Chuck. That's not a secret we all have that presume. Of course to me has still interesting hypothesis which I pronounced that Chuck's mother - Diana, was princess or noble birth.

You're right, as usual, I agree with you. Dan and Blair should be just friends. It is the only reasonable solution for the entire UES. As we all know Dan loves girls in trouble. So far, Blair was in trouble, but what will happen when Blair stand on her feet? When she again start to become the Queen B. Sooner or later it will happen, and Dan will be turn out, as usual. Dan has a problem to understand the girl with whom he is related. He always has to be right. And never completely trust the person with whom is related, except one (Serena). But he always had related with the girls that are stronger personalities than him - Serena, Vanessa, Blair. And has always failed. The only person that Dan has complete trust is Serena, and vice versa. I think Dan was wrong that he has not subverted girl who is worth it (Serena). This is similar from his father, the apple does not fall far from the tree.

And I highly doubt Dianna is related to Nate somehow. That's reallllly disgusting. Gossip Girl has had so many outrageous story lines but that would be way too much. They've already had some incest with Dan and Serena sharing a sibling. (LOL totally joking Derena for life)

I can't even describe how boring Dair is. Seriously, they ran out of fuel just as they hit the road. Sure, they have connection, but even this episode showed that Dan is more of a girlfriend to Blair, rather than anything else, with all these long conversations, pj parties and sexlessness. There's just no passion, zero, nada. And Blair? She's become like the most self-absorbed character in this show, she's worse than Serena. And even with all these stupid actions, I can't reallly bitch on S. I mean, she lost her job, Dan doesn't care about her at all, her grandma died and her supposedly best friend is not only dating the love of her life (which S actually was pretty understanding about) but has ditched her completely. No wonder girl's lost.
As for Blair, I can't believe she acts like this. It's like she turned back on all her friends. How can she not be there for Chuck in a moment like this? How can she come from 'I will always love you' crap to 'I'm not sure what do you want from me'

I hope the writters won't ruin all the characters as they did with Blair. I loved her and now I just feel sorry about her. She doesn't even know who she is. Don't know how they try to develop her character if they just brought her into the darkness and it doesn't even matter if she is or not in the show, just an object...

You are right. Maybe Jack is, and maybe is not Chuck's father. But the secret that will be discover by Nate has more to do with him. My opinion is that Diana is in a kind of related to Nate over his grandfather. We should remember, who joined Diana and Nate - Nate grandfather.

All I hope is that Jack isn't Chuck's father, if GG was talking about this kind of secret, because this would be just TOO harsh....I just can't imagine Chuck handelling this and moreover without Blair....

blair and her little bubble call humphrey, where she doesnt care that her bf is on a bad sad time,chuck too,nate loosing his site,rufly in the edge of divorse and she didnt noticed any of this ....she got new friends who give a shi. about her and her party
i like that lola is the smartest of all rhodes, she gave serena a lesson, and at least diana was honest with chuck, i didnt love her till now

Uh, I forgot to say something. If really Blair should change, she should absolutely stop this "safest choice" mentality. It's very immature of her thinking every time: "well, if I choose Chuck, I might get hurt. What is the safest choice for me? The tree outside my house? Good, I guess I have feelings for that tree." Ok, it sounds quite exaggerated, but it's basically what she's been doing since the very beginning - at first with Nate, then with Louis and finally with Dan.
The other thing she had to change was her snobby behaviour, which she actually changed by putting aside her judments about Dan. But that doesn't mean that they have to be together. It would have been very balanced and great, if she could be close friends with Dan and finally take the risk of being with Chuck. This way, I'm sure that season 5 would have made more sense...
Serena: Congratulations, you've officially joined the dark side.
