I don´t care what she does - nothing can break my heart as much as George did. NOTHING.
But i do wish for them not to go bonkers and kill off Zola. (my only calming factor in that is that we already has one baby-death.)
Anyway - Alex, Mer, Christina, maybe Dereck - those are safe. Noone else is.(you´re wrong to think Alex will die - we already had one underdog from di original cast die a hero. They can´t repeat themselves so much)
Adele would be a bummer. She´s not far along with hes sickness and frankly... No fans ever liked her very much.
I´d say it could very well be Bailey. Thay is ought to break hearts... That may even make me cry, and I don´t cry very much.
Arizona? No. Maybe Mark. Lexie.
Nor Owen or Teddy are that major, as far as my oppinions go.
April and Avery are safe just becose nobody gives that big of a fuck. I can´t immagine writers crying about them.

If it's Adele I'm going to be upset, because they are making it seem like it's a huge deal, when we all know adele is going to die soon anyways. I would rather it be something really tragic, like a young person, maybe someone we really really love, like one of the original cast... Alex maybe? I mean, I LOVE HIM, but it would be really tragic for him to go, and very invoking.
you're making a big deal out of this, i think it's adele, cuz we already know that the people who's contracts are ending will leave the show by taking another job in another hospital, so there's no need to kill somenone in the main cast, except for adele, who's sick

I think they need to be very careful with their choices. I have always been a fan since day one, but the show is definitly losing its edge. That does not mean that a main character should be killed off to keep us interested. It just means interesting story lines need to be created instead of rehashing old ones. When it comes to killing off main characters you have to be very careful. Fan loyalty is a powerful thing and can cause the most loyal fans to tune out. Just my thoughts :)

I just recognized Callie got in a big accident,so it's not gonna be her and Arizona? Nah,don't think so,not part of the game since the beginning of the story.. Adele? No,not too sad for all characters and not even a major character! Bailey? No way, Wonder would kill herself! :D And Webber? mhhmm...now finding Catherine Avery?He's my second choice. Fulfilled his job,struggled a lot too and now even has lost Adele..
Well,no one will know till the finale, let's see!

Of course many think that it's Bailey or Webber, because of the "beloved character"-thing,but even though, Mer,Cristina,Arizona (Callie maybe too) love him and all the others know that deep down he was a good guy and will miss him. Despite of this, no one read anything about the contract-negotiations with Justin, everyone was talking about Ellen and Patrick who,of course,won't die!(That wouldn't make any sense,they even said they will leave the show together!). It's a character that has been through a lot, but not too major,so Alex fits it pretty much! Maybe he even takes the bullet for someone, maybe mer?! it's called Flight,so something big will happen for sure. Maybe the writers see it as a way of redemption?! Growing up in a totally insane family, falling in love with a girl, who just brought him another heartbreak, getting shot and even ratting out his only true friend,Mer. For me,that would be the saddest version,because I really started loving this character, moody but still a t

I think it's alex who dies in the final,I think he will pass the exam (otherwise it would be too easy and obvious and even if,he definitely will die) and another one will fail, but he is the one who really didn't have that much appearance in the last two seasons and his story seems to be over. From badboy to "mother theresa" that's the biggest transformation and so he has fulfilled his purpose. To this,remember when Shondra said,she has no intention to bring Izzie back?? All the fans wanted a happy ending for the both,but she herself doesn't see that. (“No, I don’t think that’s happening. We are on a track we have been planning, and the idea of changing THAT TRACK IS NOT SOMETHING WE ARE INTERESTED IN right now...) So this chapter seems definitely closed and to be honest,Alex will never find another woman like this. Fans are too obsessed with the idea,that Izzie is his soulmate,so even in finding another woman for him,it won't be a good story. And if you read the writers blog,the

I think that chances are at least believable that it will be some sort of shuttlebus crash involving those who were on the same shuttlebus to do their oral boards on this evening's episode. Those who were at Seattle Grace, and not with the others, are the ones who will be on a mission that "leads them out of Seattle Grace". They'll be racing to save the lives of their friends and co-workers involved in the accident.

I'm sick of this 'major death to come'. It's like there's no other way to make the season finale interesting or what? After George's death this show is getting worse and worse. I think this season should be the last one because the story lines are not convincing and interesting anymore.

I think several characters will die, which is why we cannot guess. I would guess it's Arizona for one so Alex stays and runs Peds and I think Teddy goes to Germany so Cristina stays, Mark takes Callie and the baby back to NY to recover from Arizona's death and Lexie follows. I think Jackson sacrifices himself to save a fellow resident and April totally loses it when she finds out. Bailey leaves for a better job or love so Meredith decides to stay on with McDreamy lol. I think Owen stays on but begins a long downward spiral that will end with Season 9 in one form or another.

the recap from the episode before the finale says that a couple shows up to the hospital with mysterious symptoms. then the recap for the finale says that the doctors try to fight a life threatening situation while saving their peers, so maybe it is a highly contagious disease that affects everyone in the hospital.
I have no idea who could die, but seriously if it is someone from season 1 characters i will b very mad

But can it be a plane accident and the plane was from San francisco with the 5 in and Weber ?
Because from what I read it's seems to be a big finale like the shooting ...

Perhaps it is Dr Webber's wife, Adele. Her story line seems to have run out with Richard.

i would love it to be april but she's not really beloved. patrick would love to come back recurring. i think it'll be alex. i think sandra oh still likes her job. so i hope its april or teddy or arizona

I think it will be Alex, he missed his boards! He will notbe able to be a surgeon anymore, so the show has no use for him anymore!

Going by what ABC has released as the synopsis.
It appears most of our favorite doctors are in danger. "Faced with a life threatening situation, the doctors must fight to stay alive while trying to save the lives of their peers."
They have to fight to stay alive that sounds so ominous, we know April survives. Because of Sarah Drew.
I'm over speculating I'll wait for the drama to unfold on my screen, and make sure I have a box of tissues, as heartbreaking as it was to watch Charles die in Bailey's arms, having one of our beloved characters die will be 100x worse.

I think it is Derek. Patrick Dempsey has made it very clear in the past that the only way he will stay is if his schedule will be flexible so he can go to every race. Racing is his passion. With that said. I don't want to see him go. I will be very upset if it is Derek.
I wouldn't care if hunt, teddy, or april left. I don't care for them all too well. Leave the rest of the cast alone please.

I really, really hope that they do not kill off Callie, Arizona, Teddy or Bailey!
That would be horrible if they killed off Sophia of Zola after all the trouble it took for them to arrive in their respective parents' lives.
I think in order for the death to bring major change in the show it would have to be one of the cast members from season 1.
Why can't they just reveal what the "thing" will be at least
