Beloved character doesn't necessarily means the original cast.
I hope it's Kepner or Jackson, but it might be Adele. Possibly Owen.
About Derek, I think it's unlikely, it would change the show way too much.
Just sick and tired though to see characters dying, if actors leave, there are some other way to make their characters leave the show. Even for a drama series.

My bet is a recurring character over the years. E.g. Adele, Thatcher, Ben.
She said she is afraid of how the audience will react so it has to be one of the originals. Probably Derek. I hope it's not McSteamy.

It will probably be Adele. I doubt Shonda would kill off any of the main cast. To have them work so hard and kill them off, what would be the point? It'd would effect everyone because everybody loves Richard and seeing him that way would be awful.

My mom and I think its Mark. We think this cuz he affects everyone. Mark and Teddy had a brief fling, Mark and Derek are best friends, although Owen has stepped into the bromance, Lexi is his soulmate,Jackson new place to go and he has plastics speacialties if Marc goes, Callie+Arizona and Mark including the baby and hes a beloved character, everyone will be in tears

it can't be Derek btw, or Mer because Shonda "hopes that she can use it next season" (the dream house) so the only way she uses the dream house is if the couple is there to use it, neither of them will live in it if one of them dies. which means she is leaving things open for their return depending on the contracts, which means that they are not dying.

it will be Cristina or Bailey or Arizona. or maybe it's Webber's wife. we love that character but no one said it will be amain character just a beloved. i don't know i hate guessing but my money are on the first three.

I don't think it's Alex, since he already said that he would stay on Grey's anatomy as long as he's wanted. I read somewhere in an interview that he was happy with the regular shifts and job, remember that he has 4 kids. Ithink it could be Webber or Lexie or Mark... (Sorry for my English, French is my first and usual language)

Because shonda says that after George there are certain people she can't kill off i think that means that alex mer der and christina are safe. That leaves: Richard, Bailey, Mark, Lexi, Jackson, April, Adele, Owen, Teddy and Callie. I think Jackson, Owen, April, and Teddy are safe because I do like their characters but I wouldn't call them beloved. Adele would make sense but I think that Richard saying goodbye to her last week was the end to her story and I think that was a better way to end it than her death it gave her a happy ending and Richard a chance to move on. I love Mark and Lexi but I feel like they haven't been focuses in a while so I think that makes them safe. Callie and Arizona can't die because they need to have a happy ending with Mark and Sophia :)! Which leaves Richard and Bailey. My guess is Bailey. It would have the most effect on all characters. Richard would be sad but Bailey would be heartbreaking for almost every character on this show

if it were jackson, lexie or kepner then it wouldn't shock fans, plus she said beloved, but i would never be Callie, arizona, Bailey, mer, derek or mark, (arizona and mark can't die because killing to people that Callie love would be to unacceptable!)
it would be to easy to kill owen, webber or teddy (and a weak storyline)
i think its most likely to be alex or christina.
i hope it's not christina,

I hope it's Richard. He's the only one who whose story is really finished. I'll be fine as long as it's not Cristina or Alex. I love those two. They're the only reason I watch. Meredith holds the show together, but I would miss Derek. If they HAVE to kill someone, it should be April, Teddy, Jackson, or Owen. But of course Shonda will keep the dead weight.

totally ok with richard being killed off. since adele is pretty much gone from the show and he's no longer the chief he really doesn't have much of a part anymore. it would just make more sense to me instead of killing bailey. i know they aren't babies anymore but they still need her guidance a little. she always makes them think outside of the box when they need it most

If I had to choose, I think it would be: Jackson, Kepner, or Lexi. I doubt it would be Webber since he is the glue that holds everyone together. Bailey is also there to slap everyone into place. Shonda did say that the main characters shouldn't be gone. So I believe that means Meredith, Derek, Cristina, and Alex are safe. I could be Owen because of the relationship status. But if anything, I feel it would be someone from the mercy west merger more then the original seattle grace people. (Which in fact is Lexi). As for Webber's wife, she's not that loveable and Shonda said it would be someone loveable. I would be shocked and torn if it was to be Webber though.
Since it is a beloved character and all the stuff was crying, i will go with Richard...or Bailey... Oh, I don't know. I just hope it's not Alex. I really don't want to see anyone else of the residents die.George was enough of a great loss.

I love the show and since Mer and Derek have the baby -they have to finish the house and fix the strained relationship..Do not let any of them die but I can see Alex being phased out as I never have been too fond of him
