Elena was at her most annoying last night. Picking Stefan to go to the dance with her after that epic kiss with Damon last week? Makes no sense. And once again, Damon is picking up the pieces of the mess since everything gets dumped on him, while Stefan is hitting on Elena in the high school gym. Classic.
The scene Julie Plec fought for was my favorite of the episode and one of my favorite of the season. Now, if Alaric had just stayed dead, I wouldn't have left feeling so cheated...
Also, so the Elena chooses herself thing is off the table? Well, then I think she chooses Damon, as choosing Stefan would change nothing unless it made Damon really nasty again....

We dont need stelena. we've had stelena. what we need is progression faster development. if she chooses stefan then there is no development and not a single ounce of progression from season one. the triangle will be dead. we will have come so close to having delena, SO CLOSE and then we just get thrown right back to phase one? forget it.
at the end of this season, its delena or nothing.

i dont want bonnie to leave i just think they need to develop her character like they did everyone else. if not then she should put herself first and leave.

want elena to choose stefan or put jeremy first. i love damon but i think he deserves better than elena and always coming second.

Elena won`t choose Stefan. That`s obvious. How could that lame stuff affect the whole show. It would be too obvious and just a step back to good old times. I also think she will choose just her humanity and a life that fits that. Having kids, to study somewhere and especially growin old. Stefan would be no "game changer" and Damon at this point maybe "too much". So the poster gave us a hint. And by the way, one sibling will leave MF if she choose the other. So, what should this show be without one of them. She will choose herself and the brothers will choose themself and their complicated relationsship. Must admit that i don`t like this version. But i think it will straight go to the shipper-wars. It`s unbelieveable what some fans twitter to Julie including death-threads. But choosin herself is so TRUE BLOOD or Kelly Taylor-like. Don`t like that, even that the triangle could go on indirectly.

I am going to miss good ol' Alaric and especially his friendship with Damon, snarky comments, them drinking at the bar etc. Oh man, how I'm going to miss that. That said, I really don't mind Alaric as a vampire. Matt Davis plays an outstanding villian, he is so much more sinister than Klaus. Also glad that the focus is now on a core character. I like the Originals but less of them doesn't hurt. Looking forward to Vamp-Alaric!!!

I really don't like Alaric as a vampire. Though I was pretty sure that I will not be able to enjoy this show without Matt Davis. He's one of the best actors there. And his character is much more convincing and intersting than Bonnie or Caroline.

Yeah, neither Damon nor Stefan... she will choose Jeremy, after all they lost it would make sense for her to stick to HER sibbling... and so the answer to all shippers will be rinse and repeat for all this neverending triangle...

Wasn't Dark-laric originaly out for members of the founding families? That was definately the plot for a few episodes, right-and what happened back in 1912. So why is he after thye originals now? There like the oppisite of the founding families. I'm confused. Although I loved the episode-and the goodbye sceen was so well done.

I am glad that Julie fought tor that scene. It was amazing and woo beautiful. Of course as always Stelena was beautiful. I needed this episode after this entire season. Once again their honesty and selflessness is my favorite thing about their relationship. Elena needs Stefan,Stefan needs Elena and we need Stelena!!

I balled when Jeremy was getting hugged. Then when they all stood there. Then when he and Damon were in the tomb together :( :(

The Goodbye-to-Alaric scene was VERY touching, and made me cry. I am glad that Plec fought for it!
