I'm sorry I just don't get it! Lol I love Damon and Elena scenes but I can't see her being with him. And for Damon to even go there I think is selfish .. his brother gave himself up to save him ..twice and what does he do..he starts to go after his girlfriend.. as a brother regardless of your feelings for a girl you should never go there..unless your just a complete dick who has no respect for family. And if so then the character of Damon is still a complete douche who only cares about himself or Elena! And they keep making Elena and Stefan love sound so boring.. all you hear is oh its pure, its safe.... how about passionate, real, and unconditional... he brought her out of her funk after her parents died and made her believe in real love! And as for it being dangerous to be with Damon I think its dangerous and exciting to be with either... THEIR VAMPIRES!

We already spent ~60 episodes with her. She has yet to do anything, let alone "mature". She is exact same person. Having NOT reacted to anything that she SHOULD HAVE reacted to. She did not develop. did not grow as a person and is major reason why both SE and DE are so damn unrealistic.
Are we supposed to be leave that selfless caring mary sue who dies for sins of others and has only one flaw that she cares too much is suddenly WITHOUT ANY DEVELOPMENT OR REASON interested in a serial rapist who abused caroline, slept with her mother and killed her brother in front of her?
Are we supposed to believe SE relationship too? Both pairings just do not work because ELENA IS NOT A CHARACTER viewer could relate, like or understand.

(Tangent: she was sure annoying, wasn't she? First, it's been made clear that ghosts in general do not work on this show. Second, we've been watching for almost three seasons now, thank you. We really didn't need Rose to spell out for Jeremy/us exactly why Elena is so torn and exactly what each brother does for us. Less obvious exposition, please, TVD. Have some faith in the viewers' intelligence here.)

Don't hate now, folks, but I can understand Elena... at the moment she's just paralyzed. Caught between the good girl she was with Stefan and really scared of the person she will be with Damon. But he is clearly what she wants, and she should just let herself go and explore her wild side! She's not a little girl anymore...but it takes time to come to terms with that. Yes, it seems a little forced that the writers are stalling her decision until the finale, but give Elena time to mature. I really want to see her becoming a strong woman with Damon, not the little princess who was always taken care of by Stefan.
Ooh and i forgot the best part ! Rose telling Jeremy (who was killed by Damon, punched, insulted etc) that Damon might be the best thing that ever happend to Elena bla bla bla and that maybe he's to young to understand it ???? LMFAO
I am seriously seriously dissapointed by this episode. I think that's the first time i've said that about a TVD episode. Only good things were the Stefan/Alaric scenes and the ending, Esther in Rebekah's body. The Forwood drama was ridiculous, it wasn't believeble at all, you go and sleep elsewhere because of a drawing ???? It seemed totally out of character for Tyler. I hope next week will be better.

This season has been lame compared to previous seasons where is the suspense
and cliffhangers?
Sure, Elena is frustrating to watch, but I do feel sympathetic towards her. She clearly wants Damon, Stefan is the easy choice. I'm sure in a couple of episodes we will get clarification on what her decision is, and yes, most likely the season finale. The triangle has been dragged out long enough for sure, but I do think the end is near. I think this episode was important and not 'pointless' as mentioned in another post. We see Damon finally stand up for himself and show Elena he's past the sabotaging, and giving her a reason to turn away. He told her she needs to make the decision herself and she needs to hear that. Other points: I didn't mind Rose returning, I didn't find her annoying and was totally surprised with both the Ester/Rebecca ending and the appearance of Kole. As I said at the beginning: solid episode.

Ok, seriously, you guys need to stop pointing at the member Bored Now. -_- Believe it or not, I am a Delena Fan, and an Elena fan moreover...BUT, my love for fictional characters WILL NOT blind me and erradicate all sense of...Well, thinking! The guy (or girl) got me thinking, Elena's character has been pretty much messed-up, just think about it do you actually see in her the lead heroine kinda girl? I am not talking about Elena Gilbert, the 18 yo girl who lives in a place called Mystic Falls and who is torn by the love of two blood-sucking brothers. I'm talking about what the writers of the show made of her (SO different from the Books, sadly.)...Anyway, I'm not gonna debate over here, 'cause I predict that would be pointless. To sum-up: Be open-minded and accept criticism, discuss it, 'cause that's what makes any piece of art improve.

I thought this was a solid episode!! Mind candy - sit back and enjoy people!
Also Forwood, the only decent relationship in this show getting a stupid roadblock from that stupid Klaus plotline that does not even make sense was hilariously bad. Why the hell is that even happening? It goes against the careful buildup of FW relationship and against everything they have been shown to be.
Elena continues to be ANNOYING and boring and bland and Bella Swan and every time I think I could not hate her more, I start to hate her more.
Every Scene involving Elena GIlbert is just too damn unwatchable.
Whole episode was YET AGAIN pointless.
Death and dying is cheapened EVEN MORE with the whole afterlife idea. WHY THE HELL DID THEY HAVE TO CONFIRM THAT? IT destroys any semblance of meaning in death.

Elena is so frustrating! I'm such a Delena fan but it's really getting tiresome to watch her still unable to decide. I'm starting to feel like she doesn't even deserve Damon anymore.
It seems like this whole triangle thing will keep on going and going so the only thing I'm looking forward to now is Dark-laric and Esther working together. That was an interesting twist!

I used to think this whole love triangle was well handled, because it wasn't center to the story, and we were only reminded of it from time to time...Well now it's just a bore, and it's just become another stupid teenage love triangle just there supposedly to catch our attention, but mostly boring really.

i never really like forwood there was no build up all they do is have sex and for Tyler to get mad about a drawing that she probably never paid attention too after she got is stupid Caroline can do better(Stefan better) I'm so Over Elena if i was Stefan i wouldn't take her back. from day one she said would never fall for Damon she wouldn't do that to him but you let him kiss you.you kissing him back and now you wanna take Stefan to the dance come on your doing what Katherine did and hope Stefan see that and return to the dark side but this time he's enjoying ever minute of it

To everyone saying that it was dumb for tyler to get mad, it actually makes a lot of sense... think about it.. Caroline broke up with tyler because of his sire bond to klaus. And he worked very hard and sacrificed a lot so he can break the bond, and caroline just turns around and lets klaus flirt with her and she flirts back and can interact with him, but when tyler does she breaks up with him... im not saying caroline is at fault here (i love caroline and forwood) but i just understand why he was mad!

im frustrated cause the girl who hated katherine because she was with the brothers has become the girl who cant make a choice between the brothers... at this point both would be smart to walk away from her....
stefan sacrifices himself so his own brother could live and all we get it the woman that loves him to become the girl who played with the 166 years ago.... on top of that Rose herself said that stefan´s love is pure, and will always be good to her while damon changes her... if this is the changed version of elena then SEND HER TO STEFAN PRONTO!!!!!

Elena was irritating again. Rose speech was a little too cheesy. Psycho Alaric is just fantastic. Forwood yaaay and i kind of understand Tyler (dont forget he has a hot temper). triangle drama will be there ofc since TVD is all about triangles but hopefully Forwood will be endgame!!
KOL RETURNED YAAAAAAY. Esther exchanging bodies with Bekah was cold. Is Rebekah dead or what? So hard to believe it. anyway the episode was ok but i expexted more

i'm thoroughly annoyed with all this hate on elena. Yes it is irritating that the decision is drawn out, but it is truly hard. And better to have more development than just speedy with no build up. Everyone is just being to harsh on elena. i for one don't really like Forwood anymore. they WERE actually cute in season 2 but now all they do is sex it up. it's freakin annoying. and tyler is a drama queen. but seriously, nothin' tops that hot delena kiss. Though i do admit, that she would just freakin' LOVE HIM ALREADY! but i don't agree with how harsh everyone has been. elena is strong but this is her weakness. Damon standing up for himself was also a big development in his usual weak character. Him not being so yielding to elena was great because he was too easy and clingy before, now with this development, their relationship can have a better chance of surviving. It wouldn't have been right if she just got with him without talking about the complications of his lash outs first. i think

1. The Delena bed scene was WAY to forced!!!!
2. The Delena Kiss was hot i will give it that. They have chemistry I just dont see it lasting.
3. What Rose sad about Damon changing for Elena is the EXACT reason I hate this pairing. Like Damon said he does not want to have to live up to someones expectations which is ironic because Elena has the highest expectations of anyone on this show.
4. FORWOOD is just HOTTTT!!!! Tyler should not have freaked out like that, its not like the girl didnt just give you hot sex or anything?!?!
5. Stefan broke my heart again tonight. "Have fun" and "A motel?". The emotion and heartbreak is killing me!!!
6. I am sure the last 3 episodes will still have a lot of question about the triangle. I am also sure that Elena will either pick Damon or herself. All I wish is that NEITHER OF THESE LAST LONG.
7. Elena+Stefan and Damon+Rebekah/Katherine will forever be my ships!
