The Vampire Diaries Round Table: True/False Edition!
Matt Richenthal at .We're getting down to it on The Vampire Diaries. The first of season three's final four episodes airs tonight and, in honor of this home stretch, TV Fanatic is here with a special edition of the Round Table.
Below, various staff members weigh in on a number of pressing topics. Will the following developments take place? Yes? No? True? False? Read on and then sound off with your take...
-------------------------------------------
The show is focusing too heavily on the Damon/Stefan/Elena love triangle.
Matt Richenthal: True, mostly based on the previous episode. Elena has to make up her mind.
Steve Marsi: True.
Christina Tran: False. TVD has shown just the right amount of love for Stelena and Delena fans all season long.
Carissa Pavlica: False. It's stepped back from it recently.
Eric Hochberger: True.
Carla Day: False. Those relationships are the core of the show and have been handled well this season.
Leigh Raines: True.
Nick McHatton: False. It's not nearly as bad as it was a few episodes ago.
Miranda Wicker: False. I think it's been well-balanced amidst the other 47 storylines this season, especially in the back half.
Elena will sleep with Damon before season three is over.
Matt Richenthal: True. I foresee one of the concluding season finale scenes at least involving Damon, Elena and a bedroom.
Steve Marsi: False.
Christina Tran: False.
Carissa Pavlica: False. Sadly false.
Eric Hochberger: True.
Carla Day: False. Sorry, Delena fans.
Leigh Raines: False. Elena wouldn't sleep with siblings, this isn't Gossip Girl!
Nick McHatton: False. She's worming her way back toward Stefan.
Miranda Wicker: False, sadly.
Klaus will survive the season.
Matt Richenthal: True. I worry that the show has fallen too in love with the actor/character and now be serving him, as opposed to what's best storyline-wise.
Steve Marsi: True.
Christina Tran: False. It'll be a game-changer!
Carissa Pavlica: True.
Eric Hochberger: True. Regrettably. I want him gone for a new villain.
Carla Day: True. He is one of the best characters on the show. He can't die.
Leigh Raines: True.
Nick McHatton: False. Only because I'm over his character. Please die, Klaus.
Miranda Wicker: False.
Alaric will survive the season.
Matt Richenthal: False. He has places to go and, I predict, sacrifices to make.
Steve Marsi: False.
Christina Tran: True. Only because it makes me sad to say false.
Carissa Pavlica: True.
Eric Hochberger: True. Equally regrettable. But Cult needs him.
Carla Day: True. I'm not sure it is possible for him to die. He's come back to life so many times. Isn't he immortal?
Leigh Raines: False. He already has a new gig.
Nick McHatton: True. His new show hasn't been picked yet up by The CW.
Miranda Wicker: False. Again, sadly.
Matt will get a promotion at the Mystic Falls Grill.
Matt Richenthal: False. But he deserves one!
Steve Marsi: He's not the manager right now? Guy works double shifts like a madman.
Christina Tran: False. Nothing goes right for that dude.
Carissa Pavlica: False.
Eric Hochberger: False. Dude gets nothing good.
Carla Day: False. He'll end up quitting that job.
Leigh Raines: True. He's the only one left there.
Nick McHatton: True. With the amount of peopling dying in Mystic Falls, I would assume he's about the last one left there. Maybe he can be the owner.
Miranda Wicker: How does he not own the place by now? Surely they can make him a shift leader, right?
Bonnie will make out at least one with Jamie.
Matt Richenthal: True. They may even get to second base.
Steve Marsi: Who?!?
Christina Tran: True.
Carissa Pavlica: True.
Eric Hochberger: N/A. As Steve said... who?
Carla Day: Definitely.
Leigh Raines: True.
Nick McHatton: True.
Miranda Wicker: True. Am I the only one who finds this weird?
Katherine will return.
Matt Richenthal: True.
Steve Marsi: False.
Christina Tran: True.
Carissa Pavlica: True.
Eric Hochberger: True. Plot holes need filling.
Carla Day: False. She will continue to wander ... wherever she is.
Leigh Raines: True.
Nick McHatton: True.
Miranda Wicker: False.
We'll discover the identity of the vampire who turned Rose.
Matt Richenthal: True. Would seem like a waste of a storyline otherwise.
Steve Marsi: True.
Christina Tran: True.
Carissa Pavlica: True.
Eric Hochberger: True.
Carla Day: True.
Leigh Raines: True.
Nick McHatton: True.
Miranda Wicker: True.
We'll see Damon in the shower/bath/any body of water.
Matt Richenthal: True. Probably within the opening 30 seconds tonight.
Steve Marsi: True.
Christina Tran: True. Duh. And yay!
Carissa Pavlica: True.
Eric Hochberger: True, true, true.
Carla Day: True.
Leigh Raines: TRUE.
Nick McHatton: True.
Miranda Wicker: True. And I can't wait.
Tyler will propose to Caroline.
Matt Richenthal: False. But should be true! Forwood forever!
Steve Marsi: False.
Christina Tran: False.
Carissa Pavlica: False.
Eric Hochberger: False. Eric or Dan will.
Carla Day: False. They are too young to get married. They have to get back together first.
Leigh Raines: False. Eric already proposed and she said yes.
Nick McHatton: Ewww, no.
Miranda Wicker: False.
