In a past episode Elana made it clear to Stephan she did not want to be a vampire. If she really feels this way then now is the time to walk away from both. She stated she wanted to grow up and have children...can't do that with either Salvator brother.
I do however feel that she will choose Damon and he will be happy for a while then she will leave him for some reason and the old Damon we all love will come back. This will play out all the build up betwen then and let her choose a brother at the end of this season as we already have been told she will.
Season 3 is going to end big and I can't wait to see what will happen in season 4. This show just gets better and better. XD

Stephen is good as intended as expected but Elena and Damon are the real thing (in the show of course). Sure Stephen is a safe and probably natural choice but the chemistry and understanding between Elena and Damon is undeniable. We all want a happy ending and want to be in love. Well love is not just playing it safe love is passion and frankly Stephen and Elena just don't have it! Beyond Damon's looks is something pure also. Through out the show if you really paid attention, Damon has showed many times he can be just as "good" as Stephen. I am bored with the triangle non sense, I am bored with Stephen...write him a new love, please! Let Elena be free and really experience love, passion and an unforgettable existence with Damon!

The Stephan romance has been explored to death and has become boring...I want to see her with Damon for a while even if when the series ends she winds up with Stephan...and bring Katherine back...with the history both brothers have with her maybe one of them will wind up back with her so both brothers can be happy. Personally I like the bond between the brothers more than the romance angle anyway...what will the romance matter in the end if Elana isn't turned?

i recken klaus will live, (hello! he can't die, otherwise no one else really poses a threat to elena.) klaus needs elena alive for his hybrids. someone will come along who wants elena dead so klaus can't do that and it will be someone from kalus's past or someone who could kill klaus and potentially those vampires he created (who i think is stefan and what not) so they'll pose a massive 'threat'. well maybe anyway.. hopefully season four is better than the start of season three!!
i highly doubt that she'll end up with either one of them otherwise it wouldnt be an option,to be honest i think that the relationship between stefen and elena is only going to be like a brotherly and sisterly relationship and if thats the case then thats the only shot delena have but even then i really couldnt see delena in an actual relationship where they kiss and hug and say they love it each other it feels awkward just thinking about it eghh!

I would like to point out that writers are "handy" with words....while she said "love triangle" and how could we all not immediately think of Elena, Damon and Stefan-there are more love triangles in TVD! Also, I think i read on a spoiler that Stefan and Damon had a little brother? There is also Klaus and his werewolf bloodline aka possible family (more people to be ashamed of him). They also mention "loopholes" a lot well I'm sure they will try and find someone, maybe someone that was turned when the originals were that knows how to kill an original and still keep the bloodline alive...lastly Elena is the doppelganger which may mean that eternally that is part of the balance-two love interests....think about it-Katherine first had Elijah and Klaus, Damon and Stefan maybe that is her gift or curse, someone who eternally loves her so she doesn't or (didn't) voluntarily really want to offer her doppelganger services....she is supernatural so who knows what else she can/will do.... Why do i have the feeling that Elena is going to choose Damon....i don't know..cause maybe they have been builting all this feelings for too long and they need to pay all the fans off...i have no idea.!maybe because if she chose Stefan it would be hardly a suprise....and they stated many days ago that they are going to surprise everyone that's being watching the show..i HOPE they do make her realise her true feelings for Damon because it's getting really hard to watch her being so confused..we need action between her and Damon....ACTION!it's unfair..but my opinio is that this triangle is a non stop one because of the fact that the whole storyline is based on that and the produsers said a few days ago that these two brother will always be in love with Elena and not anyone else so will Elena be in love with both of them...you see, there might be a decision for now but not an endgame!Julie Plec said so!

It says that Elena chooses one of the Salvatore brothers, so it seems that everyone else is left out. I "think" in the books she went to Damon then back to Stefan but then again they are not following the books closely. When Julie says she thinks that she will have to leave the country I can only guess with how many want Elena to be with Damon, that it would be Stephan or NEITHER. That would be a choice of which Salvatore brother too. I hope they do something with her character who has been pretty boring this year. Love the show.

Elena needs to choose herself and the brothers need to choose each other. Elena can grow up somemore and then be with Elijah. They have a spirtual connection and chemistry.

This show is like a parade of really hot guys with some plot that noone really gives a shit about. Some I´m looking foward to the new guy. He better be really hot! Becose Klaus´ll propably die. Why else another villan? He better die - I mean, I´ll miss His Hotness greatly but I could not bear if even his balls ended up in Elenas´ purse. It´s overcrowded there as it is.
As for the choice between brothers - dump Elena and get together! That would be heaven. And check out the game of thrones - INcest is IN!
Yeah. The show would just be a lot better with no Elena around. She could like die saving Damons life or something... Which would prove she did love him. Which she does. But he is way too cute for one girl. Except if it were me. :)

Repeat of what Arcane-Weirdo said. Elena needs some other story line to develop her character, besides "the triangle" and someone trying to kill her every episode. I love how Buffy S7 ended with her single and empowered. That said, I love this show and can she please pick Damon at least for a little bit? Even if its just to explore her feelings or whatever. They can't keep teasing it like they have then not go there.

Don't make Elena choose. She should take the Sookie route and choose HERSELF. People that say the choice is the point of the series should take a look at Buffy. Buffy had(still has, actually) 2 major love interests, she hasn't chosen someone yet, but that doesn't mean she didn't develop as a character. My point is, give Elena some storylines that don't revolve around other characters, but herself.

As for the new villain...my guess either they are bringing in Tatia or the books' kitsunes (which I hope is not true cos I don't these last great characters of the books to be ruined).
As for Elena, looking at that poll - of coarse 63% of some whiny delena fans would say that. Even shipping stelena myself, I say neither! The girl needs to take some time sorting out her feelings and only from there on her relationships with both can evolve, it definitively can not stay they way it is. Btw, the brothers need some bonding time too so yeah - Elena's choice -neither!. Go team Salvatore bros!
can't think of her choosing neither if it's the ultimate decision! there will be someone she's choosing.. the show started with this triangle as a main part and now they let her choose neither of the two? doesn't sound logic to me.. but there have been a lot of shows that have been ruined by the writers so well let's see what happens
