What a fantastic episode.
I really want our favourite bromance to be okay. Ryan made the right decision by telling Gates and calling in for back up.
Finally! Beckett and Castle. They took their time but they finally got there.
Really looking forward to the next season now!

LOVED that episode! I wish this show was like a soap opera & just aired year-round!
Does anyone know the name of the song that was playing at the end?

That was the episode we've waited for four years! Glad to see that they made their love story grow, it didn't just feel like a random hookup. It was Kate finally opening herself up to love and to Castle. I was glad she realised she went too far and thought about Castle whe almost died.

Mr. Smith has had a face since the first episode of this season, when they had the actor walk by Beckett's hospital room. They showed his face when he was looking through the clippings, and they showed it in the parking garage. What they finally revealed, partly, is his relationship to Montgomery.
I don't think Mr. Smith will survive to come forward to help Beckett. I think there will be about the same amount of Alexis. There has to be a relationship in the future of Castle and Beckett. This is not the idiotic Bones writing staff. This one is competent, and knows it can be done. See any William Powell movie of the 1930's. I still despise the new Captain, and miss the old one.

For a moment I thought that we where not going to see anything and the season and series was over. But when she came to the door and said "I am so sorry Castle", now there was a moment. Alexis speech was nice and since she is staying close to home we will probably see her enough. Captain Gates needs to be transferred. The Castle character finally showed some emotion and said I love you again, and you know that. Maybe Becket and Castle will go private and be like Sherlock Homes. Don't like the Cole Maddox character at all. Mr. Smith is the key, he will finally help Beckett find here mothers killer. Lets hope now we have seen the end of crumbs in the relationship between Beckett and Castle. Now just a steady day to day I love you and you drive me crazy too!

I LOVED IT!!! Omg who knew mr. Smith was apart of the cliffhanger?! And they deleted Kate's murder board! And I just wanted to hug Kate and Rick the entire episode. I really thought that was Rick on the roof. Great twist making it ryan. I hate Gates, right now! And the bromance better be ok. Season 5 is supposed to be lighter and more fun anyway. So I'm not too worried. I'm so happy. Rick and Kate have finally hooked up. Finally, indeed! Now we truly have caskett. I need season 5 now. Did Kate have anybody else at her I want you speech? Or was that just me? And Alexis graduated. Best season finale IMO!

@Ghost: I think there was an editted correction changing it to could have been, after people made comments. I read the review earlier and also could have sworn it declared the ep twas titled 'finally' - the comments of the other posts is probably the reason it was corrected so quickly.

She didn't say that it was titled "Finally" she said it could have been titled "Finally." There's a big difference between saying what is and what could be.

Nathan Fillion rocked his acting so hard, he is the ultimate boss at tugging at heartstrings and bringing the sassy class. I think them in a relationship will be just as enjoyable to watch as them with intense sexual tension, which does get stale after awhile. There's nothing like a committed, monogamous, loving relationship to revitalize an aging time-honored partner dynamic.

"The episode was titled, “Finally” for several reasons."
Um, I think you mean "Always" lol :)
Excellent episode, great way to end the season. And Kate's "I'm so sorry, Castle" was heartmelting, achingly beautiful.
