how can you choose the best scene from so many,of course the end scene had me going but there where other just as good scenes the roof top fight,the castle seen where he told her hes been waiting 4 years even at the begining when they made a date and alexis speech all unforgetable choose sorry i cant.

1. Second to last scene - it was perfectly acted by Katic and Fillion. Kate's vulnerability at the door, Castle's hesitation, Kate saying "I'm so sorry" over and over, and finally the hotness at the end - well done. LOVED it.
2. Absolutely agree with Christine. When he realized Beckett was saying she couldn't trust him and he got angry and laid it all out. "Four years I've been WAITIN' for you to open your eyes and see I'm RIGHT HERE!" Perfect delivery by Mr. Fillion. Someone get him an Emmy, please...

3. Ryan absolutely did the right thing, and my heart breaks for him. I really hope they can work it out. Ryan and Esposito really do parallel Castle and Beckett - so if the romance can work, so can our favourite bromance.
4. Depends. The Castle/Beckett ending - absolutely! The overarching conspiracy still going on? Meh - I'm kinda over it. I don't really care anymore who tried to kill Kate - UNLESS Castle's father is involved...
5. Ummm...exactly where it left off LOL. Not even the next morning! Marlowe has already said there won't be a time lapse (thank God, I stopped watching Bones because of that), so I'm excited. Is it September yet?!?!

1 & 2 - In both cases, my favorite scene was in Kate's apartment when Castle confronted her with his secret. The passion and emotion that Nathan put into that scene was incredible and the tears in his eyes brought me to my knees.
3 - Yes, Ryan did the right thing and I believe that Kate and Espo will both acknowledge that in the premier because they will see that his motivation was totally their safety.
4 - This is a tough one for me. While I loved the passion and tenderness of them finally coming together, going directly to bed without passing go, leaves me feeling a little cheated that I didn't get to see all of the fun leadup to that total physical commitment. I wouldn't be the least bit disappointed if we discovered that they had a hot makeout session on the couch and fell asleep. I'd enjoy all of the touches and kisses building up to a bedroom scene.
5 - Regardless of what happened overnight, I think Marlowe owes it to us to show the following morning and some of thos

Loved the ending! The kissing scene looked so real. Wonder if they are a couple outside the show. Nathan's scene where he said he loved her and his emotion seemed real. I think I saw tears welling up in his eyes. He is a great actor and so is Stana. They play off each other so their relationship seems really real. Can hardly wait for the fall!

I agree that they have to start season 5 like they started season 4... the 10 first minutes have to continue where they left us... or they will have to bring some flashback.

I loved the ending. Nathan's acting in the middle of the episode where he tells Kate finally to her face when she can react, and the emotion in his voice - I rewound the TV as I was watching it 3x just to see that scene before I could move on.
I also think part of Javi's reaction is the after effect - if it wasn't for Ryan, Kate would have died, and he would have felt awful b/c he was hurt and couldn't save her.
The writing has been excellent on this show, and the actors are perfectly suited to their characters. I've been watching the first 3 seasons again on DVD for the last two weeks, and fallen in love with them all again.

i knew from the time that castle had her father's watch repaired after her apt exploded and then gave it to her that he was totally in love with her...i think maybe at that point she may have realized that he had feelings for her and she felt something too but she didn't know what she was feeling because she was so wrapped up in her mother's murder..when she was faced with death she realized that she had blown it with him and it all smacked her in the face. i think at the final minute and a half of the finale when she told him she was sorry, it wasn't just about the events of their fight days ago, but that she was sorry that she didn't tell him that she remembered him telling her he loved her, she was sorry she didn't give into her feelings sooner and not have kept him on tender-hooks for so long..it was obvious for the past couple of seasons just by the way she looked at him while he was looking away from her that she loved him but was afraid to give into it..she was sorry for that as
I concur; Wow²! Unlike other shows, Castle just pumps and episode full of everything! Sleuthing,humor,Drama, anticipatory carnal promise, the almighty bromance; and people who just work well together. I will be waiting on the edge of my beach chair for next season; YUM! oh and by the way, if anyone is reading, I have the solution to the Kate quit her job. She and Castle and Espo & Ryan open up a super detective agency! Yowzah! No holds barred and 4 of the best private dicks are born. You know I'm just sayin' and in closing I would like to say that the speech that Alexis gave was very touching and the intercuts while she was giving the speech and Kate is pursuing and being pursued added great tension to the scene; a new beginning for her and the possible end for Kate...Brilliant!! Bravo!

Castle is one of my favorite shows---have been waiting a looong time to see them get together, couldn't be more pleased with this finale, and I, too, want to see the next season begin with the morning after. The actors in this show are fabulous!
