Cougar Town: Considering Shift to TBS
With its fate on ABC growing more dire by the week - the latest new episode only drew 4.8 million viewers - the folks at Cougar Town are reportedly in discussion with TBS for a possible move to that network for season four.
It's early, and this sort of financial arrangement can be tricky, but Cougar Town's fans are passionate and creator Bill Lawrence - who has done all he can to save the show, specializing in unique guerrilla marketing efforts while it was on extended hiatus - would seem open to keeping the series on the air however he can.
“Should the show become available, TBS looks at all opportunities presented to us that fit our brand,” a TBS spokesperson tells Deadline.

Bill Lawrence could have avoided all this hoo haa and stuck to the original premise of the show. Why should abc renew a show that doesn't even know what it wants to be.

There's a lot of fun shows ... Cougar Town, GCB, Scandal and Pan Am. I hope I can keep all of those :-)
