Ilove CM's but I just can't go with the crowd on this one. Don't know why the premiers and final ep's alway are so full of absurdities. Now I know it's good to vote up there to ensure we get the show back, but (sigh) why so corny? Example: One second save by Em, seasoned FBI team sending in medic without proper back-up to his death, extreme hero play by Will, Strauss being treated with disrespect - and the 2 hours way too long..better to have made it 2 parts. The wedding was nice, with perhaps a little too much innuendo, but I liked Reid's magic for Henry's sake. The best line of the show-Rossi to Reid and Garcia in their weird costumes "Why am I not surprised". At least that got a laugh.

I heard Paget new show will be on the same time as CM next year
All CM shows have been great so far. Even the last one. I really enjoy it. Hope all the casts will be back including Emily Prentiss . They make a great team.

I really liked the season finale - but doesnt anyone else sense a "spinoff" here with Prentiss leaving to run another agency?

Emily becoming the boss of the London Interpol make sense she does not have to be on the the crimes she has basic became Strass but in a good way. Nice to FINALLY see Hotch and Jack moving on from Haily death It took Reid what till last year to get over his drug issues.

What a dumb exit for Emily, she cant get over her all deal of Doyal so she joining the London Interpol. Hello it was through her job at the Interpol that linked her to Doyal, the team had nothing to do with him until she went missing. If she can’t get over the case just leave the BAU like Ella did, don’t go and join another department. Seriously are these writers that stupid and why is she the only one struggling, Jack got over his mother death within one week, Hotch never got affected at all and Reid got a drug problem for two episodes, a few scene with greasy hair and was over his attack so what’s her problem?
Maybe Erica Messer focussed two much on JJ wedding after all she does need to get rid of that name Messer let just hope she doesn’t get Idiot or Stupid.
As usual Hotch is rude to Strauss which is a given for him and since he was following protocol when he got Haley killed it seems a little redundant now. But then again he did want Haley dead.

CM is the best show on TV. The last episode was great, except for one thing. Was it filmed differently? The quality of the film was "like it had been filmed by amenuturs" It didn't look real.

I am amazed that all but a few of the people loved this episode. I look forward to this show every week. But this was one of the more sophomoric stories I have ever seen. Very disappointed. I was ready to turn the show off after the first few minutes but the wife wanted to keep watching. All I can say is it kept getting worse.
That is a GREAT review! Covered everything I was thinking as well!! I will miss Emily (again...) although I would have liked to see her get together with either Morgan or Hotchner!! Anybody and Morgan would be great! :P That fight between Izzy and JJ was the BEST!! "Beware of Mama when it involves her children"!! and I love Will together with JJ and Henry They make a cute little family! I hope that they will put more of Reid on this year. They packed a lot into one show and it turned out AWESOME!!

I really enjoyed the last episode. Everyone was great, and the whole thing was very intense, like "edge of the seat" intense! Even tho you knew that Will was not going to die. The scenes with Izzy and Henry were "spooky." I'm so sad to see Emily leave. I liked her a lot. I hope they don't bring back the other woman that was on there for a little while. Wonder if Paget Brewster (hope that's right) got another show. Anyone know?

Everyone has covered alot of what I was going to say, but I can't hold this back. I loved everything about JJ and Will. I hope to see more Will instead of replacing Emily. I too am an extreme sucker for everything Will.

I agree with you Kendall. The episode was great start to finish and Pretiss goodbye is what she deserved. I also agree regarding Morgan/Prentiss relationship. As much as I love Morgan and Garcia, that relationship is more fun and flirty. There is definitely some room for a Morgan/Prentiss relationship even if she only comes back for a couple episodes very similar to JJ and Will's "secret" long distance relationship. She can easily come back and collaborate on a case where we find out they have become romantically involved. We can see episodes where Morgan sneaks off for weekends and everyone tries to figure out who finally settled him down.

This was amazing as the show continues to be for all these years. Now for season 8 how about two episodes to resolve the story of Jason Gideon- Mandy Patinkin that would really bring this show full circle. What do you fans think??

I absolutely LOVED the finale! It was just the right amount of action, romance and the perfect bittersweet goodbye for Prentiss. I did sob like a baby at the last scene. But I really enjoyed the focus they put on Morgan & Prentiss' relationship. It was certainly the most intimate of the finale and there is definitely room for growth there. I hope Paget will come back for guest appearances in the future. The show just won't be the same without her.
I hate that Emily is leaving. The group needed that second woman.
Love the wedding party scene showing them dancing with one another. It was very touching.
Happy that CBS is smart enough to keep this show.

Good season finale. Kevin ditch girl. Hotch I hate Beth. Prentiss is making a mistake leaving a great role where she was good at it. The spin off could have made it with a completely different cast of characters.

By the way - kudos to Pat Helfer for a very convincing baddie - her acting chops are really coming along nicely. She's still stunning looking but now she's developing into a rather decent actress too.
I loved this season finale, even though my favorite character is leaving. It had everything packed into two hours: excitement, suspense, action, a little comedy, a little romance, etc. I don't understand why anyone would not like Prentiss. I agree with tsquared. She is beautiful, smart, tough, sassy, funny and sweet all wrapped into one amazing agent! I'm going to miss her very much! I hope Paget lands another series! But all characters are great. I love how they all get along together. Seeing them all dance with each other was so real, you know they were saying goodbye to Paget. I hope they don't replace her with anyone. They really don't need to. JJ can definitely be the female agent in the field and kick butt as well as Prentiss ever did! She showed that in this episode. She did it once in an earlier ep but to me it didn't come off so well. This time was awesome!

I was so surprised at Will and JJ getting married, I thought it would be Garcia and Kevin. Lose the girl, Kev. And I am NOT kidding. I loved the whole 2 hrs. was surprised all along, and Emily's former boss, was on Supernatural. I like Beth, if that is who Hotch settles on. Hated Emily leaving, but I knew she was, hope she comes back. Did not like Izzy at all and I knew she would kill her so-called boss or lover in the end. I am very happy now.

Incredible final episode and sorry to see Prentiss leave. Rossi/Mantegna always seems to be the supportive father figure for the BAU; maybe in the next year, they can have some episodes with him as a central character. Perhaps the Jason Alexander/Professor Rothschild character that Rossi had the memorable interrogation scenes from a previous episode could escape from his detention and torment Rossi similar to the Foyette/Hotch episodes from a couple of years ago. Anyway, The Mantegna/Rossi character to me is underrated and underutilized.

The reason the spin-off didn't work was because of the actors that were picked. Come on -- Forest Whittaker?!!

Something about Izzy was so attractive kinda like chilling with a tiger, it will either tolerate u until its had enough or is hungry or it can end up loving u. But either way Izzy is ma dream girl

postman and Jeremy--They tried a spin off. It was called Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior. NCIS:LA is odd IMO. It's an extremely popular spin off that has surprised everyone. Spin offs don't usually do well, outside CSI. But the Criminal Minds one had an abysmal first season. Wasn't picked up for a second. A lot of original Criminal Minds fans had problems w/how the new team were introduced on Criminal Minds. Anyway, a spin off's been done, and likely won't be again.
