Loved the show. It was a great two hours. If someone had to leave, I'm glad it was Emily and not JJ. I thought it would be JJ leaving after Will's getting shot and her child being in danger. JJ is a terrific asset to the show. She brings a nice warmth and calmness to all the chaos around them and she keeps them at their best. It was a sad ending with Emily leaving; however, I'm glad that JJ and Will got married. I hope they don't replace Emily with a new character. I'd rather that the current characters have a bigger role in things.

I had such a love-hate relationship with this finale. It was a spectacular episode. Kudos to the writers and the actors. But I HATED seeing Prentiss go. I don't get why some people don't like her. I thought she was the most complex and interesting character on the show (and a brilliant, snarky badass to boot). Paget Brewster is a solid actress and clicked so well with this great ensemble cast. I really hope they don't replace Prentiss. The team is still solid. Take some time to explore the other characters.

Great episode. I was so glad it wasn't JJ leaving. I like the whole cast but if it is a choice between JJ & Emily I am glad it's not JJ leaving. Can't wait till next season

Interesting that a comparison was made to the reaper storyline and haley gets bumped off yet the team manages to save Will. Guess its only the women that are shown the door on this show. Can't JJ cut it like Hotch and manage bringing up a kid and cope with a demanding job? How come Hotch ego didn't get the better of him on this case, seems like Will life is more important to him than Haley was that he worked as a team and not a one man solo act.

I loved the finale. I was afraid Will would die! I've loved his character since JJ first met him in NOLA and we never get to see him so I thought they would kill him off. I love to hear him talk. anyway, I didn't know that guy in the bank was a bad guy so I was surprised at everything! Loved it.

I thought of spinoff right at the end great episode

The big question for me is will Will end up on the team? His actions rival those seen by team members in past seasons. Also Emily may end up being a regular resource by virtue of going to interpol.Love the searies have the past 6 seasons DVD sets and will get this one too.

Does anybody besides me see a possible spinoff show coming out of this,
ala "NCIS:LOS ANGELES"?
Emily could be an Interpol agent working a solo operative(like Nikita),occasionally working with certain branches of the U.S. government.
How's that for an idea?

Honestly I wished Izzy would have escaped to set up more episodes. Maybe Emily at Interpol could have called the BAU to London because izzy was committing another crime or whatever. It was really intense finale..... Oh and also I am a fan of Bones and would love to see Reid on Bones.

Loved the way JJ kicked the snot out of Izzy when her child was threatened. The whole Mama bear reaction was super. They need to take Henry to a barber, I wasn't quite sure of the kids gender at first. Good episode, I wish Prentiss could make up her mind, stay or go.

I was surprised by the fact that "Castle" had a bank robbery episode this season too with the same escape for the criminals - i.e. blow up the bank and make a clean getaway in the caos that follows. On "Castle" the mastermind double crosses the other robbers and the explosive go off prematurely killing all the them.

WOW what a finale. Will has been absent all season, Once JJ was fighting on pho9ne with him. Glad they got everything together. The kid (Henry) needs a haircut. Don't like Straus, you can leave her out of all epidoses. Rossi I love him plesse don't have affair with her. I want Garcia and Kevin to get together.

it was good....was worried about Will....i've NEVER been a fan of emily, so i'm NOT sorry to see her GO...strauss is another i don't like....could have done without the slight "hint" of rossi and strauss.
Absolutely great season finale for one of the best shows ever on TV. In spite of horrible murders and edge-of-the-seat suspense the writers were smart enough to have a sweet (wedding) and bittersweet (Emily's leaving) ending that still left us waiting anxiously for next season.
To those who hate the Emily and Will characters (or any others) then DON'T watch the show. Emily is an intense, complicated character and Will just doesn't have enough screen time. I've loved him since the team met him when he was in New Orleans trying to solve his father's unsolved case. Plus his accent is spot on. Now let's have lots more of Reid next season.

I am surprised so few posters here noticed that Rossi and Strauss came out of the same hotel that Saturday morning. I thought that Doctor Reid was going to pass out when he noticed it, but said nothing to Garcia. Cigar conference, indeed.

Well...I think that the second episode was more intense and the finale was so Criminal Minds...the way Prentiss was moving around the team and the way she was looking at them it was just heartbreaking. Ohh..way to go for JJ fighting with izzy, you do not mess around with mamma bear..never ever!!! When the bomb scene I thought they are going to kill Prentiss again, but they didn't so I hope shw will come back at some point, I think we all would want to see her again.
All in all, good season finale, a little bit sad. Can't wait for the fall!

I loved this episode. I hated to see Prentiss go, loved the whole pack of them, they just seemed to connect. Each character seems to connect with the others. I love this show. Why would anyone hate Prentiss? This group is great!

Wow!!! An amazing episode.. Lots of twists and turns..lots of love between the team members.. Loved seeing Reid and Penelope all dressed up at the beginning of the first episode. Rossi getting everything set-up for JJ and Will to get married was a real example of the love between the team members. I hate to see Prentiss/Brewster leave-but that is what happens in real life. And I really do like the Will character so I hope we do see him more. Can't wait to see what the writers have in store for next season!!!!!!

I missed the "story" with the elderly couple (sometimes the background music is so loud I can't hear what the actors are saying). Also, does anyone know who played JJ' Mother? She looked very familiar. One last thing--when episode one opened and Rossi was at the cigar convention, Strauss came out of the hotel and Reid/Garcia gave each other "knowing" looks--were they thinking the Rossi and Straus had been together? Someone else asked this question--I think the answer was yes although I believe Rossi can do better. BTW, LOVE Joe Mantegna!!!!

Loved the two episodes. I think I liked the second better but only by a hair. I really love the actor and the character of Emily Prentiss and I will miss her on the show. I think the character shows just the right amount of personality and so does the actress playing the part. In fact I love all the characters and think CM is one of the all-time great shows on TV.
