I have been wacthing gossip girl since the first season.Although there are times I really question why I watch this show, at the end of the day I am a devoted fan. I have been in love with Chair since season 1 and I truly hope they get some sort of happy and well deserved ending.

With the show's producer leaving it just shows that they are just back tracking and pretending the last couple seasons will white wash. Blair is my favorite character and the dynamics between Humphrey and her were fabulous but now I feel I've been robbed. To me personally GG ended when Humphrey kissed Princess Blair on the steps of The Met in a beautiful pink dress. I will probably watch the Series Finale and skip the new episodes.

Lily and Rufus should not be married, but to reconcile and renew their love affair. Also, Lily and Rufus to help Serena and Dan to reconcile and to finally end the two of them get married!
@Zoran: i really love this scenario!!! i hope it would happens in this way
but i believe the wedding would be chuck and blair.. and serena could get pregnant with dans child and be happy with him of course.
that with rufly and renew their love affair, i love it so much:-))

It's interesting that JS 1.0 and SS keep saying that s6 will focus on the core dynamics and that they have the chance to honour their characters because I feel like the characters have been off for such a long time and since s3 it seems an AU show. How many relationships and characters have been destroyed to prop DB? They first came out with that awful NYU's SL and I am pretty sure it was only to make DB interact and start their "bond". It was so stupid IMO because the show is supposed to be about the UES, and not about Blair feeling like a fish out of the water in Dan's world. Then they had to destroy CB and just kept trowing Chuck and Serena under the bus so "poor" Dan and Blair could find comfort in each other . Too bad they pretty much destroyed Blair in the process too. She used to be so fierce, but she had to become a lost, confused little girl so she could go to Brooklyin live a romance with Dan Humprhey. UGH. I honestly think the show started going down hill when they

I really wish Dair were endgame if only because it was the only healthy and positive relationship in the show. But I guess the writers just want to cave to the teenagers who don't know what respectful, balanced relationships look like.
And at this point, Blair would have to beg Dan for forgiveness; talk about not being equal. She doesn't deserve him!

@GossipBoy
Do not understand why it always mentions the half-brother Scott, when talking about Serena and Dan! Serena and Dan are not related! Rufus is nothing to Serena and Lily is nothing to Dan! While Rufus and Lily were married, Rufus was the stepfather to Serena and Lily was the stepmother to Dan! Therefore there are no obstacles that Serena and Dan are married and have children. Serena and Dan are related by blood to Scott, who is the son of Lily and Rufus. Serena has no blood ties (yet) with Rufus, and Dan has no blood ties (yet) with Lily! Serena and Dan can be together, and Lily and Rufus too. Lily and Rufus should not be married, but to reconcile and renew their love affair. Also, Lily and Rufus to help Serena and Dan to reconcile and to finally end the two of them get married!

@ G. Singular
Why @ G. Singular you hate Dan? Why do you want him to die? Dan is one of the five main characters in the series, and without him there is no series. In your previous statements I see that you are the fan of Serena and Nate. But I do not know on what basis do you think the two of them should be together at the end of the series. Serena and Nate were lovers in only one third of the 3 season. The entire 1, 2, 4 and 5 season Serena and Nate were not together. If we follow the parameter, then they should not be together at the end of the series. In season 6 must be complete stories of couples that have already been started - Serena and Dan, Chuck and Blair and Lily and Rufus, but not to begin a new love story that can not be completed because there are not enough episodes.

@Rebecca413, OK if that's what makes you happy, no one's stopping you. . . Were still going to support Gossip Girl until its finale.
Just putting it out there, viewers like me who are tired of being jerked around are the reason ratings were low enough to warrant a shortened season. Honestly, I'm shocked and a little disappointed it wasn't canceled outright, given that viewership was significantly lower than other CW shows that got cut.
If ratings drop off much more, it might not even get its full run (which I consider a well-deserved punishment after serving us garbage on a platter and calling it parallels).
I'm as "real" of a fan as anyone else, but I no longer support the writers and their creative decisions. There comes a point when canon is no longer relevant, and it becomes up to the fandom to write stories that do the characters justice. That search for closure usually happens after a show ends, but in GG's case, it started prematurely. We know and love the characters well enough that the TV-created universe can live on without the show.

@Rebecca413, then quit! We will still support GG, no matter what others think. Real fans of the show need to see the closure.
[continued from below] met was his real Mommy or Daddy? Serena and Georgina acting as comically bad fake Gossip Girls?
The finale only served to demonstrate how far this show has fallen. Each character is unrecognizable despite obvious efforts to send them back to the beginning. I won't be watching season 6.
I quit GG after they started going to college with Lizzie McGuire in season 3, and only came back in season 4 for Dair. Their budding relationship was the only story arc that stayed relatable and transcended the increasingly ridiculous plotlines that imploded around them. No matter what happened, the loft was a sanctuary where real conversations and character growth took place. It appeared as if there was an underlying purpose after all; that money and power aren't everything, that it's possible to break the cycle and determine your own destiny, and that love is all that matters in the search for happiness.
This show was supposed to be about young rich kids in Manhattan, not overprivileged yuppies stuck in a high school time-warp. What happened to college? How the hell did the royal wedding get so out of hand that Blair, a 20-year-old, actually went through with it? What was the point of Blair's pregnancy, uncertain paternity and eventual miscarriage? Chuck wondering if everyone he

Hi everyone!!!
Guess what? Leighton Meester is here in the Philippines right now to endorse a local clothing line. Ahead of her of 2 years is Ed Westwick who also endorsed the same brand.
Philippines is so grateful to have Chuck Bass and Blair Waldorf in the country. Filipino fans are so thrilled! Lucky us.

Its either one of them. Darena can be together if Lilly/Rufus break up cause they're still technically stepbrother/sisters.
They shoot humphries, don't they

i agree with Grrrrr they ruined the show it's too late the damage has already been done.Personally i stopped watching after 5x10 because i lost patience with these writers, they just kept ruining my favorite couple (chuck and blair) over and over. Now this couple is not the same anymore , did blair eally have to be screwed by louis and dan humphrey to realize that she is in fact in love with chuck? This show disgust me.

These producers/writers are a bunch of MORONS. They know they've ruined the show, so they turn back to season 1 + 2 to try and return to "core dynamics?" I'm sorry but what the hell is this sh*t? Characters are supposed to grow and develop. They're being completely lazy.
Season 5 finale was a letdown, totally. Especially with Serena, I felt like their not giving her character a fair chance to mature, she's just returning to how she was.
Dumb retards ruined my favourite show. Chair isn't even the same anymore, but I'll admit much better than Dair. And now they're cutting the final season in half. If they mess this up, I'll really hate them!

I think we are all conceived in a bit to our wishes and predictions for season 6. And we lost sight of that the season 6 is the final season and that in the season 6 will be events to take place to complete the series. All the love stories that lasted 4-5 seasons (Serena and Dan, Chuck and Blair, Lily and Rufus) must be completed in a way that the audience is satisfied. In accordance with what the producers announced that in the season 6 will honor the characters in the series and viewers who follow the series from the beginning. 10-11 episodes a little to began with a new love story, this refers to Serena and Nate, because the two are not together since the end of season 3. In addition, not only the love stories that should have ended, but perhaps more importantly, the relationship between friends and between families.
