How can Lily have a change of heart in just a matter of weeks? Her feelings change as fast as the wallpaper on my computer screen.
Serena got what she deserved. She has been a cow ever since she took the reigns on as Gossip Girl. I was hoping that her character wouldn't be as annoying once Gossip Girl reclaimed her laptop...but boy was I wrong.
I'm praying next season Dan gets a haircut. I shudder and feel like gagging every time those ugly side burns and the poodle on his head pop up on screen.
As predictable and inevitable as it was for Chuck and Blair to have gotten back together...it gave me the best feeling and that's something I haven't felt since season 2. Think it may have been the build up from all the negative stuff that was happening throughout this episode.
Hmmm...still intrigued to know how it all pans out next season...

As for DAIR/CHAIR, am I the only one who would've preferred DAIR not happen at all, if they weren't going to invest time into it? Don't get me wrong, CHAIR is inevitable, but the handling of Dan and Blair was way more interesting in anticipation and the writers seemed to just cater to creating a pairing feud.

I was actually disappointed by how everything seemed to just go back to how it was for all the characters. I mean, don't they deserve some sort of development? Or maybe just lessons learned from past mistakes? I also can't believe Lily. She needs to have a talk with Chuck about his old man just swooping in like that. Thanks daddy dearest. But, I am looking forward to see what Serena's character will do next season though. She was on the back burner for so long.

Generally pretty happy with the ending, it wasn't great but could have been much worse. I think it's set us up for a great final season.
Hoping Dan is GG it would definitely make him the ultimate outsider. Also looking forward to Nate being the discoverer of GG.
Glad Lola is racking off for a while, hoping it might mean a reunion for Serenate and he'll come to her rescue again like he did in season 3. Otherwise let's bring back carter for Serena, I love him is anyone else with me on that?
Glad that we will have a season of chair, a shorter season but a season of them nevertheless.
Can't wait for the chuck, jack take down of bart and the ivy take down of lily.
Thinking lily is staying with Bart to help chuck and jack but time will tell, she's gotten pretty evil lately.
And Georgina, who doesn't love a bit of Georgina Sparks!
All in all I'm really looking forward to next season.

I am having mixed feelings about the finale. I don't like IVY and I still think she did not deserve all that money.I was glad when she lost everything and was gone. I am bothered that Ivy got to keep all the money. I am not feeling Lola . I love Nate he is great but I think he deserves someone better than Lola. As for Gossip Girl, why do I think it's Eric or Dan ? It's someone in that inner circle or one of Blair's Mignon. I felt for Serena but you have to admit she has chemistry with Dan.I hope that she finds herself. Dair never had that chemistry. As for Chair still rooting for them because they do have chemistry. Love Jack! Overall can't wait to see how this all ends next year. I am hoping that gang stays together!

Can’t we agree that it sucks whenever our ‘ships hit the rocks, that the other side isn’t evil incarnate, and that maybe, just maybe, we’re sick of getting dicked around by manipulative love triangles in tv or movies that take over a show to the point of utter fan war? Simply because triangles are *easier* to write in a drama than a truly great story?
(Yeah, I admit it. I long for the days of X-Files and Alias---when writers could create plenty of drama w/o flip-floppy love interests each month. Even Buffy wasn’t a real triangle. Angel had already left the show before she started mixing it up with Spike.) When will this creatively lazy idea cease? End rant.

I hope some Dair fans can understand a bit now how it’s felt to be a Chair fan. Maybe this will bring us closer together. Think about it.
Dairs feel like, “What’s the point of that after a 2-year build up?,” while Chairs have been saying the same thing only “…after a *5 YEAR* build up?” Dairs are lamenting the “character assassination” after 3 eps, while Chair fans have been dealing with character assassination at regular intervals since about midway through Season 3. Dairs are asking “Do the writers even watch their own show?” while Chairs have had to sit through C and B doing things completely inconsistent with the previous eps “character growth” merely to produce the OMG drama that writers believe will bring ratings (and b/c showrunners know that Leighton and Ed are their go-to actors for emotional impact). And while Dair fans probably got delivered the BIGGEST smackdown with this finale (and in part we feel you), Chairs fans have suffered the m

Blair marrying a prince, Blair pregnant, Blair not marrying a prince, Blair not pregnant, Blair making promises to god, oh...Blair marrying a prince again, Serena GG, I love Chuck, I love Dan, I don't love Chuck, yes...I'm bipolar, Diana is Chuck's mom, oh...no she's not, daddy dearest is alive...and the finale...wraps up nothing.
I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm relieved that my couple ended up together but It left me a kinda bittersweet flavor, because the show could've actually been so much better...although, if we think about it, so much worse to...So I'm hoping that mid-season 6 helps the good will outshine the bad and at least give us a good goodbye.

THANK GOD Blair finally came to her senses! I get that Dan has been a good friend but it was time for her to realize that there is a difference between your best friend and the love of your life! The Elenore and Blair moments were lovely....but really that wasn't a very good episode! 22 and 23 were so muh better! I'm actually kinda glad there are only 11 episodes left from now on. Sure I'm addicted to that show but honestly I don't feel good about it anymore just annoyed! I just want to see Blair and Chuck becoming Chair again and I'm happy!

Do the Writers have any imagination? Serena drug whore again, Dan outsider again, Chuck daddy issues for power: again, Lily don't care about the meaning of wedding: again, Nate being completely useless: again ... Blair/Serena war: again ... I watch this show for 5 years, so why did I grow up, and all people in gossip girl didn't?
I was a dair shipper, but a calm one. But Chair. Seriously? Why aren't they together? Can we have a proper conclusion for once? I gave up on Dair after it was obvious that Blair's going back to Chuck. But I don't understand why we have to wait the shortened season to see them together.
I am so disappointed with the show. Five years of watching for what? To see the same things all over again. Thanks GG writers.

The only good thing about this finale were the last 2 minutes. Blair standing up and fighting for the man she loves! Yes that's what I want from her. Bart Bass is a giant asshole! I want to kill him for speaking to his son like that AGAIN! And I can't believe Lily! Actually I would have divorced both men! I coudn't care less about Lola...I was super dissapointed in Serena. I coudn't believe she really took that diary in the first place. I hoped so bad it would have all been Gossip Girl's fault. What kind of a best friend does that? Of course it got only worse with Dan... Really S? That's low even for you...coming full circles I guess! Nate on the wedding and Dan at the divorce party! And now she pities herself and doing once again drugs! Real classy Serena! She has actually grown to me that season but now...wow! Screw that bitch and let her overdose!

The episode, compared to the rest, was actually pretty decent but I think it's a unanimous call, this season sucked. No matter which fandom you belong to, it was very poorly written, with a blatant disregard to the characters actual personality.
I don't know what happened to this show, the first 2...even 3 seasons were great. After that everything went downhill. Along this season I couldn't help but ask myself if most of the characters in the show weren't actually bipolar.
I'm a chair fan, but I think that dair could've been much better written. I mean, they had grounds for it but, yet again, everything was rushed and overall wasted. It just felt to me like they tried to stick the storyline in there somehow, even if they didn't have the time or plotline consistency...so they just copy-pasted it there. Everything happened in such a short amount of time that it actually gave me whiplash.

Loved the finale... I think the writers actually pulled something good out of the mess that was made of this season to make us want to tune in for a final 11 episodes... I love how Serena on the train mirrored her arrival in the series premiere... I'm glad that Chuck and Blair getting back together wasn't so simple... and FINALLY... Dan is going to write the book he should've written all along, and how awesome is it that Georgina is helping... Oh, and that video of Gossip Girl? Always had a feeling she might moonlight as A in her spare time... :D Can't wait for season 6!

I'm really starting to think Dan is Gossip Girl at this point, which would be an all time low for any character, even surpassing Serena this season which is damn hard to do. It would also be a plot hole the size of the Grand Canyon, but it's not like GG has ever shied away from that.
Serena...she's always been fun to make fun of, and she's always been stupid, but I never hated her until this season. Talk about a self absorbed, conscience lacking bitch. She back stabbed every single person in her life, and for what? Because she wasn't getting enough attention? Blair may be egocentric and self-serving but she looks like Mother Theresa next to Serena.
So there's my rant. But of course I will be watching next season; I've enjoyed this show too much to give it up now even though I'm highly irate at the moment. Only 11 weeks in the fall, really? *sob*

WTF did I just watch? I was a huge DAIR fan but over these last few episodes I have to admit the chemistry wasn't there like it was with Chuck, and I started wishing for a CHAIR reunion. Thank you for totally screwing that up tonight Chuck, and making me remember all the reasons why I started to hate you. First he throws Blair over for a hotel. Now he throws her over for a company?! Screw you Chuck Bass and the limo you rode in on. I think Blair was on crack when she said he fought for her all year. She forgave him for the hotel thing, waiting as he put it, five minutes at the Empire before screwing Jenny, through his father's death, preventing him from jumping off a roof - all the scheming she's done for him, revealing his father was alive...! Instead of showing up at the casino to back his play, she should have put a boot in his ass.
At this point I think Dan and Chuck both suck. Blair needs someone else, someone far, far better. Plus I'm really starting to think Dan i
