why would anyone want more than 11 episodes of gossip girl..11 is more than enough otherwise they will mess up chair again! i dont see how they could possibly have this show drag out longer either way.

dair fans are bitter just like chair fans were after so many seasons for blair to end up saying chuck doesnt have my heart anymore..but at the end chair has been built up for longer than dair so it didnt make sense to make dair endgame and to have blair truely love dan..i found them boring so im glad they are over..if dair would have been done differently and not so close to the whole silly louis fiasco than maybe i could have fallen in love with them but for now im happy to see them go..i dont see how they could make them a couple again.

@honey, there is not enough episodes to put dair back together and end chair. It would completely make blair look more physco than she already has this season. Also dair can not be the same after dan willingly slept with s and I do think he still has feeling for s too. Im pretty sure chair is endgame

The show was great, in my opinion. As a writer, I remember my first college course for English - writing - like it was yesterday. The first advice you are given, "Characters have to be believable!" Everyone commenting about the characters reverting back to their old ways, what are you talking about? They are not in their 30s or 40s. These are kids in their early 20s. How many people knew exactly what they wanted when they were 21 and 22? There has not been a time jump on this show. Most kids in college change their majors at 21, let alone have all their personal and business affairs in COMPLETE order. How many people make mistakes, and when they realize the mistake, they end up right back at square one? It's called learning from experience. And trust me, no one is in a relationship that is 100% golden. If that were the case, divorce would not exist, and neither would single parents. As for Chuck and Bart, father and son fight over the family business everyday, and some fight over women

I am happy with the finale. Finally no heartbreak between Chuck and Blair. Dair was awful! There was no spark! It was dull boring and hard to watch. CHAIR FTW!

Dan is certainly not the GG. If it was, he would not needed Georgina to write a book. It seems that everyone forgot the end of season 2, when in some way explains about the GG. Then it was said that GG receive information from all the people, which then is filtered and then published on its website. GG is no one of the five main characters. GG is not one person, ie. it is one person who is administrator of GG site. But without the information that gets out of the ordinary people, GG is a nobody. So all those who sent information to the GG, is actually GG. Only question is who is the current target of GG?

I thought it was a good finale :)
Serena is back on a downward spiral (I'm still calling suicide!)
Bart Bass--he might be all lovey-dovey with Lily now, but his memory is long. He doesn't forget that she was leaving him for Rufus. He's gotten his revenge against Rufus--wait for the revenge against Lily :) I believe he's stringing her along. Couple his efforts with Ivy's, and we've got fire!
Blair needs a designer--could Little J be coming back? She doesn't strike me as a Waldorf designer, but Blair is going to want to put her own stamp on the line--what better way to do that than to revamp their styles?
Georgina and Dan--in the end, Georgina will walk away unscathed. Dan, though--I'm thinking that he may think he's going to have the last laugh--but, in the end, he'll be put back in his place. In Brooklyn.
Blair and Chuck (and Jack)--do they somehow get Bass Industries back from Bart? Will Bart die? Again. For real? Do they forget about the Bass billions and somehow make

I was trying to say Doroto is married to a skinny tall man. They have access to the two great houses in the show. They could employ others who work as staff at the other locations throughout the show.

I think everyone has forgotten the email S sent to GG. The one where she offered to do anything to help her friend. And thereafter she does something totally out of [current] character. It might be the case that GG asked her to do it - to push B to the place where she'd finally make the choice S and GG both knew she would make (GG being privy to the knowledge as a result of having read B's diary pages). GG would be dark enough to request her act of contrition mirror her earlier act of selfishness.
Blair enjoying any kind of victory seems terribly shortsighted. Her concerns in the finale were with saving face in the NY social community and, as always, using persons she considers to be her inferiors. When was the last time you saw her do anything that wasn't self-motivated at the core?
Dan is consistently bitter, and has an apparent love for directing other people, so he could be a viable choice for GG. However, I think less obvious pairings shouldnt be precluded. Dorota is now

The finale was horrible. From the quick destruction of Dair (but I am fine with Chair), and then not even getting Derena, to the destruction of Lufus, to the destruction of Blair and Serena's friendship. And now why are they trying to destroy Lily, when she is right in this case? Her sister had sex with her husband and lied so many times! I want to see Ivy leave town or die or something...GG is just not working with her on the show, and the other storylines are suffering for it.

Here's something to think about, maybe? Sure the ending with Blair beside Chuck at the gaming table, adding a fortune to Chuck's bet. She may still love Chuck that she has his back yet is she really in love with him? I'm skeptical. I think that her coming to help him was making sure she would not be beholding to him because he had paid her dowry. Repaying a debt. What if Dan does still has her whole heart? Her and Dan didn't split up? The gossip girl blasts may all be taken out of context and everyone who read them made the wrong assumptions?
Dan really messed up assuming the worst and had sex with Serena. I may have to reach watch this episode. Does Blair know Dan had sex with Serena? Dan pairing up with Georgina is his second folly. I don't think we've seen the last of Blair and Dan as a couple. Next season may just surprise dair fans and upset chair fans.
Straight-up trash. The entire season was a mess, and ending Dair, the one good thing to come of it, without any explanation was the nail in the coffin. I can't believe it got renewed, and I feel sorry for the actors who have to deal with such sloppy, uneven writing.

As a derena fan i'm currently mourning, however I have not given up hope yet as I firmly believe that if derena were ever going to completely end they'd at least do it on good terms! I also think that there has to be some significance in dan and serena almost getting back together from seasons 3 on wards otherwise the writers would have just forgotten about them after season 2 and moved on.
Chair was my favourite part of this whole episode which I find was the worst season finale in gossip girl history because nothing was really revealed except for 'GG' but even then we couldn't see them! I also think it would be too obvious for Dan to be GG and I actually believe that we will either not find out who gossip girl was orrr it'll be kristen bell and she will have some significance to one or more of the characters.

I feel so sorry. I was expecting kinda a good ending of this but really? Why does the new season will begin just like season 1 of Serena. I feel sorry for Serena, it seems like she has gone from main characters to supporting characters. The whole season 5 is about Blair really. I just feel sad that this turned out this way!:( And i am not sure if I am going to watch next season because I feel kinda disappointed and less attached to the show compared to before.!:(

GG-I don't think I will be watching next season. It used to be a guilty pleasure, but by making every single character unlikeable, what is there left to root for in the show? Apart from one very dysfunctional relationship, there seems to be no other point to the show.
Serena: Congratulations, you've officially joined the dark side.
