Honestly my prior question here is, about waht friends we are talkin who should still care about Serena. Dan made his point pretty clear. If I were Blair Serena would be dead to me and well Nate I guess he could be the only one who still cares. But lately they weren't the closest either!And again these spoilers sound of way too much story arcs to fit into 10-11 episodes! And I fear they will squash everything in until it's just not good anymore!

Well they make it sound like an intriguing last season. I just hope it actually pans out that way. And I seriously agree with Hodan, GossipBoy and G. Singuler - Serena deserves a decent storyline. Even if she finally gets it after 6 years. The series did technically start with her returning to redeem herself, and it should end with her finally leading a life she truly wants. She was involved with Georgina, then accidentally killed someone after sleeping with her best friend's boyfriend, was stuck in a love triangle between Dan and Nate for forever, before finally attempting (for the millionth time) to destroy her best friend. Seriously? I just want the writers to let her mature and become the awesome character she deserves to become.

Wow! Gossip Boy, I think I'm in love with you. We could be the new Dan + Georgina. Kidding! I'm glad we're on the same team.
I think writers should already stop also toying us with shippers. If Blair chose Chuck, better stick with it, don't give false hope anymore to the opposite shippers, make B + C work. We are fed up with the Chair or Dair storyline. Give Serena a decent storyline instead. There's so many good story lines waiting to be tackled such as Lily takedown, Chuck vs Bart vs Jack, Nate vs GG, Dan + G + insider part 2, Blair and her designer hunt, and finally the Operation: Find Serena. Those are interesting story lines. Let's put shippers play at rest.

CHAIR forever!!!!! Yes they have to be endgame. Season 2 & 5 have both ended with them getting together. They have to be endgame. After a season of nonsense and a waste of 24 episodes. The writers finally came to their sense and gave us a return to the GG show that should be. Too bad that they wasted a whole season on nonsense and now season 6 will suffer cause it will be shortend. That sucks. But after the season 5 restored my love for the show I hope they make the best of it and commit to a great season 6 with Chair.

I also want them to explore a few episodes of Serena's dark side; let us see her go through a breakdown and by the middle of the season, she could be back with her friends and by the end hopefully settled down with either Dan or Nate....or at least a happier life alone. She deserves all the happiness.

Although the "Operation: Find Serena" storyline will be very very interesting. Just don't reduce Blake's screen time. Like GG's blog (even she keeps denying it), Serena is the center of the show.

@Hodan, I don't think snorting cocaine and having random sex with strangers lead to normal life. I know like me you like the best for Serena, but seems the writer and executives are planning something dark to happen to her character or is preparing her to be written off.
Why can't they let Serena have a proper storyline, anyway it's only 11 episodes remaining. We want Serena! Hear us GG writers!

Wouldn't it be awesome to see that Serena is actually leading a normal life and is happy outside of UES and that she actually grew.

Just to remind the executives of CW, we got hook watching Gossip Girl because of Serena's character, followed by scheming Blair. If you even think of reducing Blake's role as Serena to the show, expect momentous decline on your viewership. For us viewers, Serena and Blair complete Gossip Girl.
Yes, Serena's character may be annoying at times, but that makes her interesting to the viewers, she's flawed. Most can relate to the things she's dealing with (ex. losing a best friend, losing career, damaged reputation via gossip) while still being beautiful, so if you will remove her character or reduced her screen time then expect goodbye from big faction of viewership. No one likes to see a Blair-only 11 episodes. We need the original GG ensemble to close this series. Give that to your loyal viewers!

After a horrible night watching Lexie die on GA I needed this. Really looking forward to GG and I wish Sara Goodman luck. Fingers crossed she does a fantastic job.

I hope they don't pull a Marissa Cooper on Serena. If so, I will hate the writers forever. No matter how flawlessly they'd deliver the Chair endgame...

I really hope they find some redemption for Serena. Make her stronger to overcome all that she has been through. This most recent season, bad things jsut happened to her she had no real storyline.

I think it would be a real twist if Chuck, Blair & Jack took the company off Bart.
Then Jack gets it off gets it off Chuck & in the end Blair marries Jack.

I feel like Serena has been NOTHING for the story line. I hope she dies.. thats sounds so awful i know. haha. but they did it in the OC. I feel like that would bring more to the story than anything she could possibly do. She's literally nobody anymore! Chair BETTER be together at the end!!!

i think that S's breakdown is only to be followed by a rise of the character because she hasn't grown or changed much, so maybe the producers want to make her evolve..somehow someway. i hope chair remains together this is how it should be, in the end they should find a way to be together :D

I hope Serena's story is big and we actually see her go through her meltdown. I wanna see her go through hell and then see her friends finding her.
I love story lines of troubled characters for some reason. Not that I hate Serena; she's my favorite.
