This is probably just be being a paranoid fan but I think it is quite strange that the contract news was released before the finale...they don't want it coming out who (or who isn't) the person is to die yet they let conviently let that slip out of the bag ruling all those people out which is most of the people on the plane. The thing is that I have searched and read multiple articles that talk about the reveal and Shonda Rhimes has yet to speak out about it. Something just seems fishy about the whole thing. I just have a bad feeling that it was done to throw people off the scent of who was going to die and I get this sinking feeling that its Derrick. I know Shonda alluded to the fact that there is just certain people she can't kill but Shonda has also said that you shouldn't believe what she says and she has lied on purpose in the past to keep the shows secrets. Just saying.

1)Who told you Alex colapses in the O.R.?
2)Maybe is somenoe with internal bleeding and dies unexpectadly at the end while we are expecing Lexie who's in the worst shape
3)Only one dies!Come on people read all the teasers before commenting!

I have a terrible terrible feeling it is Lexie. I will be gutted if all my hopes for a Slexie reunion ends with the finale. I don't want a "bittersweet" moment as Shonda tweeted, I want what Meredith and Derek have :( Not little grey please.

i'm confident it's going to be Callie..because you've seen the promo, at the beginning she says life changes in an istance and shonda has said someone will die unexpectedly.it doesn't necessarly means it has to be someone on the plane crash...shonda always surprises us..

Arizona or Lexie. Either way, most characters will be hurt by the death. I'm thinking Arizona over Lexie, but for now I'll play the waiting game.

I also think it's either Lexie or Arizona, but it has to be Arizona! Lexie's my favorite, even if she didn't have a lot of stories this season! In the promos, I think we see too much of Lexie being injured (for my heart)than Arizona (there is not usually the more important things in a promo) and with the "will die", I think it would spoiled too much. Plus, I saw in one of the promos that Teddy is crying in Owen's arms...I don't think Lexie is very close to Teddy, which is the case with Arizona.

I was ready to quit watching Greys when season seven ended without reuniting Slexie. I was angry when Mark told Lexie he was letting her go, and only watched season 8 because Shonda told Slexie fans to hang in there, Slexie would get their moment. I only watched season 8 because I was waiting for the promised Slexie moment. If Lexie dies, I will not be watching season 9 or 10. I thought Shonda said that George O'Malley's death taught her that some characters cannot die? Lexie is one of them. Viewers will stop watching.

I believe that it is going to be Lexie that dies. Original cast is safe and the only reason Arizona was on the plane was for being angry with Alex about Hopkins so she took his place. Arizona and Callie already had their tragedy last season with the accident and Mark has also been reported safe . I will miss Lexie but if you think about it, it makes sense to have such an impacting death to that the characters may choose to stay in Seattle to recover from their loss.

Six went down, one will die. Derek, Meredith, Christina, Mark, Lexie, and Arizona went down. All original characters, and Mark Sloan have been declared safe by Shondra, that leaves Lexie and Arizona to choose from. Shondra kept saying that Slexie fans need to hang in there, cause their moment was coming, but now she is saying their reunion is very bittersweet. Slexie finally declaring their love for each other during Lexie's dying moments would definately be bittersweet. I hope it is not Lexie. I hope that it is Arizona, which is why we hear Callie narrating the episode saying "Life changes in a moment."

its not grey, or derek, they have signed on for two more seasons..its either lexi or arizona...I also think there is going to be two that die this season...It looks like alex will as well...remember he stays behind and didnt get to go on the plan but he does collaps in the OR...so maybe it will be two poeple not just one.

I don't think Lexie is the one. It would be to much sickness and death in the Grey family.
So i'm thinking Arizona, i've never really gotten to love her character like i love Lexie, so rather her, then Lexie.

I am almost positive it's going to be Lexie. Original cast is save, and did Jessica Capshaw not twitter recently about staying with the show? could be Sloan though. (I do not consider him original cast)

I think it might be Mark...throw us for a real loop. Lexie and Arizona are the more obvious choices.

I honestly think it's Lexie. She finally broke down and told Mark that she loves him. He's been putting off deciding between her and Julia. I'm telling you, it's Lexie.

I think it is between Lexie & Arizona. Between.those 2, I would rather it be Lexie. I love her, but they really gave her such horrible stories this year & her character has become so stagnet. I LOVE Arizona & would be utterly devastated if she died. I would still watch the show (die hard fan here), but I would complain all summer long!!!

taryn - you're not wrong but if Lexie is the one to die she's basically getting the same treatment as Georgie three years ago did, I mean Lexie did not have any major scenes this season so in a way her death will be more shocking.

I think it is either Lexie or Arizona who dies (sadly). Because Shonda herself said that all the originals were safe (Derek, Mere, Chris, Bailey, Alex, and Webber). And she said a BELOVED character will die, so I am guessing either Lexie or Arizona. See if I'm not wrong :)
