The worst GA season finale ever! Seriously? Seriously! you're going to build up Lexie and Sloan all this time only to have her die within the first 20 minutes? Stupid!

You call THAT a finale, Shonda? Piss poor writing I what I call it. I won't be surprised if once loyal grey's audiences jump ship now. It was THAT bad.

As a younger viewer, I was very attached to Lexie. She was the youngest on the show and her storyline seemed like one I could understand, rather than Derek or the others. I'm rewatching season 4 right now, and when Lexie's character was introduced I instantly loved her. She was so spunky and firey, and over the years Shonda has turned her into a nervous girl who only cares about boy problems. I'm actually glad Chyler Leigh gets to be free from this show. She was being used for 3-5 minutes per episode this season and she is so much better than that. And maybe she'll be done with acting and spend time with her husband and kids! Good for her! Am I pissed that Shonda killed off my favorite character and ruined my hope for a happy ending for her and Mark? Oh, totally and completely. But at least I know Chyler doesn't have to deal with this crap anymore. I would love to say I'll never watch Grey's again, but it is a part of my life. Hopefully Shonda brings back Morgan because I am not watchi

Shonda, I know you said you were worried about losing fans because you were killing off lexie. But i don't think you are going to lose fans because of killing lexie, I think you are going to lose fans because of the entire episode. seriously, it was bad. Not your best work. I know it was suppose to be drama-filled, but this just wasn't very good. It wasn't written well, I didn't like that they were all on their own. Grey's seems to be losing its original charm, and I was hoping you would bringit back in this finale, but you didn't.
I'm with many other fans who are saying "sorry, we have had enough"

Worst Grey's finale to date. Basically all that happened was the death of Lexi (which is enough to make you question Shonda's state of mind), April being whiney and unlikable (as usual), and Callie blubbering on and on about how awesome Arizona is (can we end this already? Does anyone even care?)
Why tease the reunion of Mark and Lexi for years and then kill her in less than 20 minutes? Why give a character a photographic memory and then not use her all season?
Lexi dying, Owen cheating, Avery sleeping with April of all people? The storylines have gone to sh*t. If you think this even partially resembled a good finale, you should have your head checked.

Lexie is/was my favorite. That last scene with Mark had me sobbing. I actually want Mark to die just so they'd end up together. My favorite part/one thing I find interesting about Mark was his relationship with Lexie before SR had to break them up.. If the actress wanted to leave, they still didn't have to kill Lexie. They've survived bombs, shooters, Izzie survived cancer that spread everywhere. Callie and her baby survived with no lasting effects. Why couldn't Lexie just move away and still end up with Mark, like Ben and Bailey did. She could have left and maybe done guest stars. Killing characters is not always good drama. On Lost and on Grey’s it’s become a cheap gimmick.BOO to Grey's.

Worst finale of the entire Grey’s series. Bottom line.
I had the death narrowed down to Arizona, Callie (they set it up with the “don’t ever leave me” scene), April (by suicide, which I hoped for), and Lexi, because her death would cause the biggest outcry and drama next season. She didn’t really get any scenes this year anyway, so I guess they may as well have cut her. BAD call in my opinion. 80% of the Grey’s audience hates April, so I wish she would friggin leave already. Teddy is 10 times the character that she is. But you kill LEXI? Lexi, whom Shonda teased would have a happy ending with Mark? Lexi, whom has a photographic memory, aka indefinite storylines? The character with the biggest heart for her patients since Izzy Stevens? This makes me immensely ANGRY.
Other thoughts:
Who honestly cares about Ben and Baily? I roll my eyes every time they are on screen. Both characters could leave and I would be happy. Another useless character: April Kepner. Stop tryin

It was obviously going to be Lexie as the corpse. Her plot lines were almost nil the entire year except for her desire for Mark. Essentially, Shonda killed her off a while ago.
She was left in the show because if Ellen Pompeo did not sign, they would need a Grey. But she's barely appeared most of the year.
The problem is that she was the "normal one," the one people could identify with. She was sort of gorgeous but in a nice way. She was the kid sister in a world where the adults were generally filled with conflict.
So where are they? MerDer is boring because they're together and happy. Cristina is still a sort of monster and her battles with Owen are the things the daytime soaps moan over. Calzona is so nice that it's boring. Karev is supposed to be gone and his life is losing one woman after another. Jackson is pretty but actually boring.
I used to really want to see Grey's. Now half the time I see it on DVR because I'd rather see Touch or Person of Interest.

This was the worst season finale ever! 3 years of building a reunion for Mark and Lexie and Shonda kills her off in the first 20 minutes. It wasn't dark or twisty or unexpected. It was just incredibly sad and the last straw for me with this show. I couldn't have care less about the boring crap at the hospital. I'm done. After 8 years of loving this show, I'm done. I hope Glee drives the ratings into the toilet.
