I feel that this year’s season final was true to GA form. They always go out with a bang and or boom. With Lexie’s exit I felt they should have let her spoke with Meredith her sister before she died. As for Stone…good acting! Now, that Cristina is a hoot. She had me crying and laughing looking for that shoe.

OK....Lexie actually DID get on the plane in Migration. If you remember Mark aksed if she needed help with her suitcase and she said no, she had it. Kerev was not on the plane. At the last minute Arizona went off on for going to Mayo (or Hopkins, I forget which). The following 6 have all renewed contracts for 13/14. Meredith, Derek, Richard, Bailey, Christina, Kerev. It is sad Lexie has died and sad that Teddy left the show. I have not even watched the season finale yet as the "spoiler" alone put me on the edge of my seat. Planning to watch it tonight. I sure hope Grey's is back for at least 2 more seasons. As far as who was on the plane. Six doctors: Derek, Meredith, Christina, Lexie, Mark, and Arizona. Own was back at the hospital trying to decide what to do about all the staff he was losing...Bailey was with her man hearing about his acceptance to intern at UCLA....Callie and Teddy were both at the hospital and so was Richard. It will be interesting to see what happens next season.

1.Lexi was definitely an awesome character, esp. with the photographic memory! Would love to have seen her destroy the boards. Questioning decision to kill her off. She could have definitely given more to the show. 2. April is super annoying. She needs to leave. 3. Is webber starting to become anyone elses favorite character?!? He's so funny!! 4. They should bring back Burke to be the head of cardio!!!! Maybe the best character of all time on Greys. That would certainly spice up the show some more! What ya'll think?
@NurseMom--That's what I was hoping too lol. Wishful thinking I guess....
This finale was just...I can't even explain it. I was most definitely shocked that it was Lexie, but Shonda was right; it was someone lovable. For a minute I thought Marc was going to die too; thank God he didn't. Poor Callie, she just went on and on about how happy she was and how great she's feeling about her life; but little does she know that the love of her life and her best friend AND father of her child is dying.
Does anyone else think that Arizona isn't out of the woods yet? She's coughing up blood and has a bone sticking out. I'm a little concerned.
All in all, a gut wrenching, devastating episode, but great as always. I'm already itching for next season to begin!

Grade F. Soooo many stupid things in this episode. And they promise a death and deliver by killing a character that could add vitality to future seasons. The other characters are aging and settling in. Lexie is younger and still has question marks ahead. But noooo, they didn't think of that, just decided to kill her off cause they promised a death. Okay, the actress may have wanted less screen time -- then kill Mark and have Lexie go away for a couple of years for some fellowship or something. It lets the actress have family time, but gives the option of bringing in a "grey" when Meredith is too boringly settled. So my vote, if you have to vote only for those on the plane, would have been for Mark to go. He's a relentless hound dog, which is supposed to make him sexy and interesting, but it's getting old and he should be thinking about how women are treated -- he's got a daughter! Grey's has already had a crisis for callie and arizona, so it seems awful to go that route again. I

the corner & there isn't. This is tv not motion pictures where they can really elaborate on scenes. I liked the show myself but so many viewers did not. I am very sorry that Lexie died, from the moment she came on the show I liked her & her character.
The 1-hr ending just doesn't make it - too much was packed into the show. I hope they start right at the ending point of last night's show. To me it would be very bogus to have everyone already found & back at the hospital being treated or operated on - plus I think they should have some type of memorial service for Lexie.
I am hoping we get to see a real life rescue with Owen heading up the search team but that's just me ...

I heard long ago that bells/chimes means the passing of time.
In my opinion, two of the BEST scenes last night were with Owen & Teddy - the first in the operating room when Teddy told Owen why she couldn't leave (Henry)& she wanted to remain a loyal friend to Owen because he's so broken & she admitted to her adding to his misery. Miranda paid close attention to what Teddy told him & she looked at Owen's eyes/face as Teddy was saying that to him. Then of course, when Owen "fired" Teddy for the reason he did. I did not see that coming. To help someone else become great, THAT is a self-less friend. I am sorry to see Kim Raver leave the show. I liked her & she really was a great mentor to Cristina.
I think if viewers were not able to watch the first 6 minutes anywhere online as a spoiler, it would have been better for us. The more we know at showtime the more anti-climatic it all becomes as we are anticipating that something bigger/better is right around

We just watched the previous episode on our PVR - Lexie was on the plane with Meredith, Yang, Derek, Mark, and Arizona. Alex had to stay home because he "no longer represented Seattle Grace".
Wow, you can always depend on Grey's to throw you a loop. I totally don't understand why we be strung along all season long with the Mark/Lexie storyline for her to just die. Tricky. I will totally miss Lexie, and how sad is it that Mer has now lost another family member? Christina was fantastic, and I loved the open flashback and George mentions. I guess the fact that contracts were not yet finalized at the time of the finale have watched Grey's from the beginning and continue to be a fan... I just hope that at some point we get a reprieve from so many great characters meeting their demise. Too much going on for just one hour, but I'll miss Grey's over the summer.

The program for me last night was a bit confusing. If you remember all of the doctors on that plane had just passed their boards. Lexie wasn't even on the plane. She was left at Seattle Grace. Kurev was on the plane and he was no where on the crash site. I think it was all a dream sequence of one of the doctors on board. I have wanted to go back and watch the episode on teh 10th but isn't it funny it is not there so we could re watch it.
