Lexie died. That was the worst scenario possible and they chose that. If Lexie wasn't the one died, that would have been the best season finale ever

Oh my god..willryone STOP COMPLAINING about how bad it was, it was amazing. Amazing acting writing and direction. The only reason you think s bad is because Lexie died..which was yes devistating and i personally screamed and cried my self. Im sooo sad Lexie died, she was one of my favourite characters and will be sadly missed but it was an incredible episode

With all the improbable things that happen on Grey's, this may have been the very least probable. Seriously, a jet plane crashes (improbability #1) and most of them survive (improbability #2)? I might have been able to care more about the death of Lexie, who is one of my favorite characters, if it hadn't been so stupid. I'm not sure I'll be returning for Grey's. I stayed through the Denny thing, which was a stretch, but now Shonda has gotten trigger-happy with killing off main characters. Chyler could have exited in a variety of ways; killing Lexie with that ridiculous plane crash was probably the worst plot choice. Ugh.

I HATED! Though I know it's a drama I totally hated because the episode seemed unfinished to me. I started watching it knowing that someone was going to die (and by the promo you could except that it would be Lexie) and that's it! Probably they're trying to shrink the crew for the next season that's why it's so unsure if our favorite characters will stay or leave. I'd hate if Derek, Mark and Arizona leave the show... even Lexie! It could have been April but I think she'll probably leave the show anyway. Again, I hated it.

Oh no, I was really hoping that the repulsive Arizona would be killed off. I can always hope that she gets an infection in her leg, and dies before the next series, as I hate having to fast forward when she does any scenes, don't mind any of the other characters, but really hate her.

Teddy's departure was the only surprise; especially once the sneak peek showing the opening sequence including finding Lexie. For about a moment (with the coughing of blood) I thought perhaps they'd save Lexie after all, only to lose Arizona. Although I hate losing either one at least the change-up would have been surprising.
Too many deaths? Perhaps. Of greater concern is the "all or nothing" pattern into which GA has fallen. Meredith nearly drowned, she made a full recovery. Burke was shot, he made a full recovery. Izzy's cnacer, full recovery. Christina was impaled, Callie thrown through a windhield. The mass shooting, all who survived made full recoveries. Those on GA who face their mortality die or recover. It would have been more interesting if perhaps Lexie had lost her hand. She could still be a doctor, but who ever heard of a one-handed surgeon? Or Lexie and Mark finally found & committed to each other only to find her injuries include the total destruction

You nailed it.. Everything i wanted to say.. that pilot scene was so nostalgic and Yang's asking shoe was funny as well as the feeling of shock at the gory situation they were in.. this finale leaves too many questions to be answered but its now sure thing that they are not leaving Grey's so they are most probably not leaving Seattle Grace Mercy West Hospital.. hats off to Shonda Rhimes and will sure miss Lexie!

Okay so Lexie dies. Thank goodness it was not Derek, Meredith, Cristina, Alex, Torres or Arizona. Those characters are much more important than Lexie, April or Avery.
The finales of Grey's are always the most exciting episodes for me. Shonda... awesome job.
I do miss George though, and I disagree with many saying there are too many deaths. If a character must leave an episode, dying is good closure. I still wonder what Izzy is up to. Maybe she should have died as well. Then I wouldn't be so confused as to where she is.
I miss the original interns; Izzy and George... the others added later; Lexie, April, Avery etc... who cares... not the end of the world.
I'm ready for next season! If Lexie does make it through somehow... then great that would be interesting. Mark's new girlfriend is irritating, and Lexie would be better with him.
I still wish Denny and Izzy were both healthy and together... or George and Izzy... or Alex and Izzy..

I'm not happy about Lexie's death. She was one of my faves. I'll continue watching til the end of the show. So glad that Derek and Meredith are still on. I hate that they kill people off this show. But I understand why the actors, whose characters are killed off, leave. Some want to pursue movie careers or want to be with their families.

And with that terrible and BORING season finale, my interest in Grey's has officially ended. Kill off Lexie, fine. But please at least give her a heart-felt goodbye to Meredith as well as Mark! I had hoped for a second there Mark would die too. That would have actually made it far more interesting than what they did, which was boring and predictable. The ONLY redeeming thing of that whole episode was how KICK-ASS Christina was! And her shoe! The rest was just garbage, like Shonda phoned it in.

This finale was incredibly hard to write. I did not enjoy it. It made me sick and it made me sad. We end the season not knowing ANYTHING about the future. Except for two things. We know we are definitely saying goodbye to two of my favorite people: Chyler Leigh (Lexie) and Kim Raver (Teddy).
I know this season’s finale had some surprises for viewers and the exit of Kim Raver was one of the big ones. But Kim’s series option was up and she was ready to give Teddy Altman a much-needed vacation. It’s been a pleasure working with someone as talented and funny and kind as Kim; everyone is going to miss her terribly. I like to imagine that Teddy is still out there in the Grey’s Anatomy universe, running Army Medical Command and building a new life.

I'm still reeling from the fact that they killed off Lexie, so my question is WHHHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYY????? She was a positive for anyone around there and she had a photographic memory which helped all the people there. I will surely miss her character. Now we have to wait for the season premiere as they left them in woods. Now the question is when they come back is everyone going to leave for their perspective new hospitals?

I finally got to like Meredith this last season (almost stopped watching the show because she irritated me so much from the beginning!) and now, with Lexie's death she will probably go into some dark place and it may be the end of the show for me. I've always said that I don't want to be taken to Seattle Grace for surgery and last night's drama in the operating room with Teddy's heart-felt speech compounded that thought. PLEASE...stop all the stupid talk over bodies being operated on...I mean really...concentrate on what you are doing!! lol

first lexie knew she wasnt going to make it because her body was crushed underneath part of the plane and mark he tried and tried to pull it out of her but to heavy for him to do but then again he told her that he always loved her and wanted a family with her and he was crying and it was sad to see even for meredith anyway im sorry she died i never though it was going to be her even teddy is leaving

Shonda tweeted late last night after Scandal. She said that Kim Raver chose to not renew her option. She felt that Teddy needed a vacation. As for Chyler Leigh, she stated that she and Chyler sat down to talk and both agreed that it was best for Lexie for this to end. Doesn't sound like Chyler was given a choice.

The second Lexie died I just wanted to turn off the tv. Don't get me wrong i'll still watch Grey's, but for the first time in 8 years I'm not dying to know what's happened next. When it's back i'll watch, but i'm not that fussed over the return of the show for a 9th season.
I'm still loyal to all the other main cast members as I love them to bits. Although losing Geroge, Izzie and now Lexie has just made me kinda sink with the show. As I said i'll watch it to the end regardless, but i'm slowing losing interest.

I'm pissed ! I knew it, she was in a critical state ! Apart from Derek, everyone could guess so last week (with the preview) but it's so dissapointing! I hoped for a critical and unexpected death (Arizona, Mark, Derek or Arizona) ! Not for Lexi's, it was cruel ! She was a very great figure in the show: sweet, clumsy and funny !
But her death was very real and matter in fact. Nothing exciting or too dramatic but very natural. Truly realistic like some said. Like George, the best ones are the first to go.
Meredith: People change, but they don't change.
