What I liked was when Zoe walked back in the room, she was ready to tell Wade the wedding was off, but then she changed her mind and you could actually see the internal discussion, which appeared to end with, you know what...I am actually pretty happy with what I have right now.

Seriously, WOWWW! Every single scene between Zoe and Wade was electric (no pun intended).
Good for Lemon for punching George! Maybe what she did with Lavon was wrong but he left her and seemed to be brushing her off so her being vulnerable and running into another man's arms does not seem too surprising. George, on the other hand, chose to go back to Lemon, chose to have the wedding go on as planned and then dumps her minutes before the ceremony--horrible!!!
Final note: Zoe and Wade = hot HoT HOT!!!!!! More of that please!

I just finished watching the season finale, and let me say I must agree! I wanted to throw something at my TV when George showed up at the end. I've been for Wade and Zoe since they first met! George has been involved with Lemon and consistently seeing Zoe, and doing things that a man otherwise ENGAGED shouldn't be doing with another woman. Friends or not, why would he put himself in situations for feelings to develop! Too little TOO late I say!
Wade's moving on up, if only Zoe can see that and hang on long enough!

I loved every second, right up until George showed up. lol I'm kinda glad he did, I want Zoe to be with Wade just because she can't be with George. I kinda want her to realize Wade isn't just a Guy to settle for. So, I can see her pursuing a relationship with George, because she thinks its what she wants. I want Wade to open up his bar and maybe start dating someone. I want her to realize George is not who she wants once she sees Wade moving on and I'd like Zoe to fight for him for once. Who knows what the writers are planning. I do know that Zoe and Wade are too hot not to capitalize on it. The writers, producers have to know how popular they are.....

The finale was great! Finally some hot action for zade! I agree with the rest that george really didn't behave well. I hope she chooses wade in season 2, though there will probably be some indecision at the beginning, however that smile at the end when she looked at wade gives me hope.
@R I agree. I think lavon and anna beth would be nice together.

I've never liked Lemon until last night. The punch was kind of awesome and Geroge was very deserving. At the end when he showed up at Zoe's I was ready to jump through the tv and strangle him. He tells Zoe he wants Lemon and now he shows up and is like 'Just kidding...let's give it a try. I'm ready now'.
I hope he finds out mighty soon about the smokin' hot sex that Zoe and Wade just had.
I just don't like Zoe with George.

Seriously... that was just.. I mean.. from the way he helped her when she was hurt to the sweet glances, then the cheeky looks when heading home, then Zoe purposefully killing the electricity, Wade looking all sexy at the door, to oh my god... those two are exactly why this series got a second season!
I actually loved the punch Lemon through - it was a little piece of every Wade and Zoe fan saying "enough!"

(Part 2) one step forward two steps back that has plagued this love triangle. I'm so relieved there's a second season.
I agree with the other thoughts at the bottom of this review, but I can't agree with any defense of George or annoyance at Lemon. Lemon became my second favorite character on this show. And whether you agree with his choices or not, George chose to try to work through the problems in the relationship and continue with the wedding. Then dumped her at the altar. That's cruel. The tragic thing of course is that, IMO, George and Zoe both have fantasy crushes, not actual feelings. Ruining a 15 year relationship over a fantasy crush is truly horrible.
Finally, I think Lavon IS over Lemon. He really did seem like he was simply trying to be the bigger man there. Lavon/Tancy for season 2! And man, how hot were those Wade/Zoe scenes?!

I just! I can't even! I was madly in love with this episode until the very end (and actually, for a minute, I thought G/L would get married which would have been fantastically brave for a show like this). And then I was screaming at my TV. Really, though, this episode was the final nail in the coffin of my like/tolerance for George. How Zoe is even torn I don't know. One guy saves a baby goat and then gives her what I can only imagine is the best sex of her life. The other guy, after months of leading her on only to choose the other girl, abandons said other girl on their wedding day. Really tough choice there.
I don't know where they can go from here. If Zoe chooses George, it will break my (and Wade's) heart, make me lose ALL respect for her and possibly ruin the show entirely. If she chooses Wade while harboring feelings for George, it could spell doom for the ultimate/longterm Z/W relationship. If she chooses neither, we're back to the frustrating one step forward two steps back

Baby goat was the cuttest thing ever! And man, they really went all out with the rain aspect. All those hot guys soaked to skin... I really enjoyed that! And whatever Wades do - I could hardly care less as long as he does it shitless. A bet even the goat appreciated those abs.
But we all know Zoe has to be with George for a while. She´s been pinning after him for so long it got annoying and she has to try it/him. But in a long shot, I see a lot brigther future for her and Wade. The chemistry they have is out of chards - and FINNALY we got to see a really hot sex scene. I don´t care i used like very clishe in the book - it had spark. And I needed that (especialy after the wierd tounge-less elevator dissaster of Gossip girl)
And next season predictions: Lemon/Wade for at least a while, Lemon/Lavon, Wades dad dies, medicine makes a comeback (hopefully) and... Well, I could say George leaves town but it is just wishfull thinking. :D

Ahh, the Reckoning for Zoe's Heart meets a Hart.
That said, I don't know if Wade might still play second fiddle to George for Zoe's affection on the oncoming season? @Kay, I'm also not too sure HoD is a soap, but I got the feeling George/Lemon were getting busy BTS a lot. As for Lemon, though I generally don't like her character, that punch slap seemed justified and warranted.
P.S Does any one have a sufficient portmanteau/contraction/mesh up for Team Wade?

Wow!! This episode kept me on the edge of my seat! The chemistry was so intense between Wade and Zoe I was dying! Loved, loved, loved it! Just hope Zoe doesn't run off with George and break Wades heart! Wade and Zoe are perfect together. :)

I LOVED IT! I love Zoe and Wade.....they are awsome together, and finally they went for ot.Hopefully Zoe won't go running to George. I hope Wade doesn't move off the plantation, I want them ( Z/W ) to stay together. I don't know what they should do with Lemon, but she is so annoying. I really like Annabeth....let her get with Lavon. What about Crazy Earl, and the money he has buried in his backyard....maybe he'll give Wade money for the bar. The baby goat, and the bleeding scene was great! I hope season 2 is as good!

FINALLY WADE AND ZOE HAVE SEX!!!! The sexual tension has been there since the first episode! Loved the song choice with the scene (Run by Matt Nathanson featuring Jennifer Nettles) because it is an amazing song that fits them perfectly! I knew the wedding was not going to work out. I also know G/Z will happen but am 10000000% on Team Wade and hope that they will be together in the end. Lemon needs to go and Anna Beth can replace her! Like her character so much more!

I have to agree, Lemon is one of the most annoying characters I've seen on tv. I started recording the series & starting it a few minutes into it JUST to fastforward through her scenes.
On another note, I am going to be so dissapointed next season if Zoe tries to make a relationship work with George. After 15 years in a relationship, he definitely needs some time to himself & Zoe deserves something better than just being the "rebound" or the girl from NY who became the scape goat for breaking up the wedding.
I watch this show for Zoe's relationship with Lavon & Wade -Lemon & George can go away.

I'm usually not team Wade, but God the writers made a really good job tonight at making me forget how much an immature jerk he's been all season. I found myself rooting for them...until George left Lemon and rang at her door. Wonder what will Zoe do. Also, I'd like them to go down the Lemon/Lavon road and see what's there. I liked them in their scenes together, somehow Lemon wasn't so annoying. It's like he gets her, he was there for her when she found out her mother didn't want to see her anymore.

on second thought maybe keep lemon and create a few comic scenes... maybe Levon related, then make him realize how irritating she is. this might be the right opportunity for her to grow. and i totally agree with @kay with an actor like wilson bethel (no offense) there must be more!
