NBC Axes Awake, Best Friends Forever, Bent, Harry's Law and Are You There Chelsea?
With renewal and pilot order pickups coming fast and furiously, NBC has now also delivered bad news to the fans of one second-year drama, three first-year sitcoms and a drama. The following programs have been canceled:
- Are You There Chelsea?
- Awake
- Best Friends Forever
- Bent
- Harry's Law
Other failed NBC shows from the 2011-2012 schedule include: Free Agents, The Playboy Club, Prime Suspect and The Firm.
On the flip side, however, Parks and Recreation, Up All Night and Whitney were the latest network series to get the green light for another season, joining Community, 30 Rock, Smash and Law & Order SVU as returnees.

I can't believe you canceled Harry's Law and left Whitney on! What is wrong with you! NBC sucks starting with them letting Ann Curry go cause of Mat!
Will be watching every other station but yours!

Harry's Law Season two was better then the first, they had so many cases that were unique. I used to watch CSI NY and CSI, but they are all the same. I also like Awake, but I know, there are a lot of people that need to know what the story is about on the first episode, they don't give it a chance. I am tired of watching good shows and then they cancel them. I think CBS should get Harry's Law, and Fx should get Awake and Sci fi should get Alcatraz. Also I can't believe ABC is cancelling Missing, honestly I think NBC should pick that up. Since in my opinion the show is awesome.

I really enjoyed Awake and Bent. Too bad NBC never gave those shows much of a chance.

Will never understand why they keep on unfunny situation comedies and take off some with promise. I know Harrys Law was done in by producers but hate to see it go anyway.
