NBC Renews Law & Order: SVU, Picks Up Chicago Fire
NBC is continuing to mold its fall schedule, announcing today that one long-time drama will be returning and another has been added to the dial.
Law & Order: SVU has been renewed for a 14th season, Michael Ausiello confirms, while the man behind that series, Dick Wolf, will officially add Chicago Fire to his resume: that program has also been picked up.
Chicago Fire will star Jesse Spencer (House), Tyler Kinney (The Vampire Diaries) and Lauren German (Hawaii Five-0), among others. It will center on the lives of Chicago firemen and we've got your first look now at the Chicago Fire cast.
Earlier this week, NBC also picked up 1600 Penn - a new comedy based on a quirky First Family - and Animal Practice, which centers on Justin Kirk as a very smart veterinarian.
