I am totally bummed that NBC canceled HARRY'S LAW and are delaying SMASH. They were the only two shows I watched on NBC. I'm usually at FOX or ABC, but these two shows always had my attention. I'm going to hire Harriet Korn to sue!!!

SMASH and HARRY'S LAW?????? The ONLY two shows I watch on NBC...and they KEPT that inane Whitney? Maybe instead NBC should think about cancelling their programer.
That is too bad that they are making us wait until the new year for Smash. It was given an early renweal weeks ago and now they will still not give it a full season and may even cancel it later as that is always not a good sign. HOWEVER I bet Chicago Fire will be cancelled after a couple weeks and they will bring in Smash in its place. That being said I am still going to check out Chicago Fire.

We might expect that you would cancel a show that you would have to watch and concentrate on like Harry's Law---Something informative that you can learn from!!! Are you aware of how much Broadway tickets cost??? SMASH IS GREAT!!!! Please don't cancel a good hour of entertainment for some more nasty inane sex jokes ( and I am not a prude).

You cancelled Harry's Law? What's wrong with you people? Don't you watch your own network. NBC doesn't have that much going for it other than SMASH and HARRY'S LAW. Good grief!

I guess I am one of the only people ok with the COmmunity move. I LOVE the show and basically Friday nights are a dead night on tv for me so it will be great to have something worth while to watch (or DVR on those rare nights I am out).
I am just glad they are brining it back, it is such a unique and funny show and I think it never got the chance it needed with pulling it, wiating for weeks to put it back, hiatus and all. The cast is AMAZING, let's see if it can prove everyone wrong and be the Friday Night kings paired with Whitney which I have to say was one of my FAVORITE new shows. There was not an episode I watched that I did not laugh out loud at least once, if not most of the episode.

Putting Community on friday is a bad sign! Its just like when they put Chuck on Fridays! It didn't do so well! Why does NBC do this to their best shows???

Whitney and Community is an odd pairing, but Who Do You Think You Are? didn't exactly set the bar very high. A quick, easily digestible hour of comedy on Friday could be just the solution to that hour. The ratings for the two of them weren't exactly door busting anyways. Maybe the DVR and online viewers will follow them and watch live.

There's a lot of risk involved in this schedule.
Putting The Voice on for two cycles every season might be beneficial in the short term, but long term it can kill the franchise (see Dancing's dwindling ratings). NBC looks to have given up on Thursdays at 10 for dramas and instead is putting a cheap, filler show in with Rock Center. They've also basically given up on trying to really grow their Thursday comedies, and instead are putting their buzzy comedies elsewhere on the schedule where they might be able to gain real traction. Especially Go On and The New Normal. The shows must have real broad appeal to perch the biggest loser for a cycle.
Putting SVU Wednesday at 9 is something that has never worked. If Chicago Fire takes off I wouldn't be surprised if this is the final season of SVU.
