Hey NAT did you no that NCIS has gotten higher ratings every year . unlike most shows whose roatings usually drop during season 8

I LOVE THIS SHOW!!!
Gibbs and Ryan are all wrong for each other. I just don't see any chemistry between them.
Tony and Ziva do love each other but I don't know if they should get together. That might ruin the show. Maybe a kiss in the elevator but then once they are rescued everything back to normal...almost.
I feel that Abby and Tim have love for each other. But I don't feel they should get together either.
I'm glad to hear that Ducky is coming back to the show. As others have stated here we don't know how he will come back. Before I found out that he was coming back I was convinced that he had died and that Jimmy was going to take his place.
This is not a Soap Opera but it is not all about solving the case. I see this as the relationship between the characters while they are solving cases.
Very fun show. I hope it is around for years to come.
OH and I love Gibbs.

There are really only 3 ladies I could ever picture Gibbs with. Samantha is a great character, but she is not soft enough for him. The Director (Jenny) was also too tough, AND a tease. My choice for an on again-off again romance for him would be the Colonel with the blondish hair, whose name I cannot recall. She is tough, but she is also ALL woman, and there was definitely an on screen chemistry for those two. So move in the right direction LJ!

I like all of the characters except for Vance...and while I love Jamie Lee Curtis's movies, I don't like her NCIS role. She seems too old for Gibbs. and she doesn't have red hair.

I feel a lot better about the finale now I know Ducky is coming back! I would love to see Tony and Ziva together even if it meant splitting into 2 teams. Folks are right that some of them have matured too much to stay where they are,but I don't see why the two teams couldn't work togethe in the same building. NCIS is a big department!Hurry up Sept.!

First, it's never polite to tell others to "shut up"; they may turn around and shut YOU up!! I TOTALLY agree about NCIS, which WILL be ending sooner than later, for sure. It would be far, far better for an aging series to exit on top than to keep hanging around, especially if the quality of the writing keeps deteriorating due to lack of fresh, exciting storyline ideas. Many here have already commented on the inconsistency with the writing for NCIS lately. For me the finale was "good", but it wasn't "GREAT". It took way too long to get to the good part, which didn't happen until the final minutes of the show. However, it WAS better than Pyramid, which was a Disaster. As far as Jeanne, you can FORGET about that EVER happening. She would NEVER return to a fake "Professor DiNardo" who outright lied to her, and DiNozzo could NEVER be w/ a woman who didn't hesitate in accusing him of Murder.

I love all the cast, gibbs, tony, abby, mcgee, jimmy, ducky, ziva and even vance they all bring something different to the table that makes me work together as a family a team, i want all of them back, they each have a different quality i love. Now Ryan she just needs to stay gone she added nothing to the show or team. I hope we seen the last of her

The s9 finale was EXCELLENT! There are a lot of great ideas floating around and some would be great to see! I especially like the idead of Jeanne (Scottie Thompson) coming back with Tony's child and how itd affect the team! Maybe it forces Ziva to Damon Worth... JLC was a nice addition but im not a fan of shrinks (i keep waiting for a Frasier quote). But seeing Gibbs and Borin would be great! Im very relieved to see Ducky is staying! The idea about Jordan filling in is a good one and could play well! I cant wait til Sep! I wanna see Gibbs snipe that SOB for attacking NCIS. Maybe chasing him to NCIS LA for a joint takedown? You could even bring in Criminal Minds profilers to help Gibbs track him down. I think Abby would get along great with Garcia...

I really do hope Tony/Ziva finally get together!!! It has been like 6 years!!! They really do need to finally be together!!! Love them so much!!! Glad they were put in the elevator together and hopefully that will bring them together!!!

Hi Steve - I like the things you pointed out. I'm glad that the writers finally seem to realize the importance of getting this ball rolling. We are at the "Home Stretch" here, as far as NCIS is concerned. We don't have a lot of time left (sorry, but it's true: NCIS will be concluding as a series), so I hope we finally get answers we've ALL been waiting for. Gibbs & Mexico, Tony & Ziva of course; they're awesome - McGee (is he OK??), Ducky (already know he'll be just fine; David M. will return), etc. I hope S10 rings in the Beginning of the End of NCIS. This series has run a GREAT race, but it's time for some closure, here. The characters deserve to "Graduate" and move forward with their lives.

I'm a big fan of ncis and I love all the cast. They are really together. I was hurt to see ducky go down like that. Tony is fine and him and ziva wld be good as a couple. Mark I see your name as someone who is more than a character on the show, so if it ain't broke don't fix it. You got a great show been with you from day one. I laugh with you and cry with you too. So I see you next season and don't change a thing. Mark Harmon NCIS ROCKS!!! With a hard rock.

I loved the season finale. Please bring back Ducky. JLC, good actress but not right for Gibbs. Not as bad as M.Allison or Hollis, neither were good for Gibbs either. I think most people don't want to see Gibbs with anyone. Glad Ducky survives (if its for real). Tony and Ziva, its time for them to hook up or move on, its getting stale. Abby needs to grow up too, she is alittle too old for the whole pony tail goth thing. It would be nice if Jimmy had duckys old girlfriend Jordan help her run things while ducky is off, maybe she and ducky can reconcile. Vance and Gibbs, tired of that too.

Why are people so set on keeping the main cast? Yes, I love this show and always have but come ON! A bomb went off right next to a building that all the main cast were in! One of them collapsed too! How realistic would it really be if someone didn't die? I'd almost be disappointed in the writers if they kept everyone alive because they were too busy trying to keep everyone happy by making everyone survive a bomb! If the characters weren't in actual life-threatening danger then why do any of us even watch this show?
And another thing: Just because David McCallum is coming back to the show, does not mean he will be alive. It's television, people. You are all so concerned about him coming back: he is. But will he be alive? No, we don't know that.
And one last thing: Why are you all so concerned about love interests in this show? I, for one, love that this show isn't busy talking about who is doing who. I just want the show to BE. I don't want it to turn into Bones where the whole te

this was a good shocker with ducky's collapse at the end . in future i can see story lines about ryan and her past involvement in areas somewhat shady ares, especially with husdand out of jail. i believe tony and jainne have more future story to add to their lives. as for gibbs give up on ryan it doesn't ring the bell.but there's abby borin .now gibbs and borin that could be interesting considering their charcters are so close red hair and all. abby and tim both are dealing with family issues perhaps working together will lead them down the path together.

I think it would be fun to bring back Scottie Thompson as Jeanne for a story arc and it's revealed that she and Tony had a child together and see how this affects his relationship with Ziva.

I'm sooo relieved to know that sucky will survive, and there might be something happening for 'Tiva'! Tiva would be the greatest tv couple I've ever seen! Almost like Gibbs and colonel mann!

I sure wish they'd make it in the summer, cuz from now till September, I might forget it. Hopefully, they pick it up shortly. I love that show.

i really though ducky had died i cried that night my mom made fun of me, she told me it was only a show i of course felt insulted not only a show, its THE show. NCIS rocks i fell in love with it when i was 13, not im 17! come one how cant i not cry when i saw duck fall... BUT THANK GOD hes still alive

Ryan is not good with Gibbs. She emasculates him. It does not fit his character. She is a know-it-all, and not even sexy.
Love the team! Glad to read Ducky will be back...sigh of relief. Now, Vance is another thing. I don't see what he adds.
NCIS is the best show on TV!!!!!!! Keep it going.

I had not read that ducky was comming back, so watching him collapse on the beach, i started crying "OMG not ducky!" I think the season finale was fantastic! My husband and I both love the show and hope it goes on for many more seasons! We have seasons 1-8 on dvd and always watch the NCIS marathons on USA. The cast is just like comming home to family. Mark Harmon is fantastic as Gibbs and all the other cast members are great too. Please do keep them together, its a perfect recipe!!

I keep on seeing people write Ziva love Tony but I am sorry but calling someone life worthless a loser and a deadbeat who no one will ever care about when they die(tony) that just does not scream love to me if anything Ziva HATES tony
